2 Chronicles 27

约坦登基的时候年二十五岁，在耶路撒冷作王十六年，他母亲名叫耶路沙，是撒督的女儿。

yuē tǎn dēng jī de shí hòu nián èr shí wǔ suì ， zài yē lù sā lěng zuò wáng shí liù nián ， tā mǔ qīn míng jiào yē lù shā ， shì sā dū de nǚ ér 。

Jotham was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jerushah the daughter of Zadok.

约坦行耶和华眼中看为正的事，效法他父乌西雅一切所行的，只是不入耶和华的殿。百姓还行邪僻的事。

yuē tǎn xíng yē hé huá yǎn zhōng kàn wèi zhèng de shì ， xiào fǎ tā fù wū xī yǎ yí qiè suǒ xíng de ， zhǐ shì bú rù yē hé huá de diàn 。 bǎi xìng hái xíng xié pì de shì 。

He did that which was right in the LORD’s eyes, according to all that his father Uzziah had done. However he didn’t enter into the LORD’s temple. The people still acted corruptly.

约坦建立耶和华殿的上门，在俄斐勒城上多有建造，

yuē tǎn jiàn lì yē hé huá diàn de shàng mén ， zài é fěi lè chéng shàng duō yǒu jiàn zào ，

He built the upper gate of the LORD’s house, and he built much on the wall of Ophel.

又在犹大山地建造城邑，在树林中建筑营寨和高楼。

yòu zài yóu dà shān dì jiàn zào chéng yì ， zài shù lín zhōng jiàn zhù yíng zhài hé gāo lóu 。

Moreover he built cities in the hill country of Judah, and in the forests he built fortresses and towers.

约坦与亚扪人的王打仗胜了他们，当年他们进贡银一百他连得，小麦一万歌珥，大麦一万歌珥；第二年、第三年也是这样。

yuē tǎn yǔ yà mén rén de wáng dǎ zhàng shèng le tā men ， dāng nián tā men jìn gòng yín yì bǎi tā lián dé ， xiǎo mài yí wàn gē ěr ， dà mài yí wàn gē ěr ； dì èr nián 、 dì sān nián yě shì zhè yàng 。

He also fought with the king of the children of Ammon, and prevailed against them. The children of Ammon gave him the same year one hundred talents of silver, ten thousand cors of wheat, and ten thousand cors of barley. The children of Ammon also gave that much to him in the second year, and in the third.

约坦在耶和华—他 神面前行正道，以致日渐强盛。

yuē tǎn zài yē hé huá — tā shén miàn qián xíng zhèng dào ， yǐ zhì rì jiàn qiáng shèng 。

So Jotham became mighty, because he ordered his ways before the LORD his God.

约坦其余的事和一切争战，并他的行为，都写在以色列和犹大列王记上。

yuē tǎn qí yú de shì hé yí qiè zhēng zhàn ， bìng tā de xíng wéi ， dōu xiě zài yǐ sè liè hé yóu dà liè wáng jì shàng 。

Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his wars and his ways, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.

他登基的时候年二十五岁，在耶路撒冷作王十六年。

tā dēng jī de shí hòu nián èr shí wǔ suì ， zài yē lù sā lěng zuò wáng shí liù nián 。

He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem.

约坦与他列祖同睡，葬在大卫城里。他儿子亚哈斯接续他作王。

yuē tǎn yǔ tā liè zǔ tóng shuì ， zàng zài dà wèi chéng lǐ 。 tā ér zi yà hā sī jiē xù tā zuò wáng 。

Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in David’s city; and Ahaz his son reigned in his place.
