2 Corinthians 2:4

我先前心里难过痛苦，多多地流泪，写信给你们，不是叫你们忧愁，乃是叫你们知道我格外地疼爱你们。

wǒ xiān qián xīn li nán guò tòng kǔ ， duō duō de liú lèi ， xiě xìn gěi nǐ men ， bú shì jiào nǐ men yōu chóu ， nǎi shì jiào nǐ men zhī dào wǒ gé wài de téng ài nǐ men 。

For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote to you with many tears, not that you should be made to grieve, but that you might know the love that I have so abundantly for you.
