yǐ lì shā shuō :「 nǐ men yào tīng yē hé huá de huà , yē hé huá rú cǐ shuō : míng rì yuē dào zhè shí hòu , zài sā mǎ lì yà chéng mén kǒu , yí xì yà xì miàn yào mài yín yí shè kè lè , èr xì yà dà mài yě yào mài yín yí shè kè lè 。」

Elisha said, “Hear the LORD’s word. The LORD says, ‘Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour will be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.’”

:「便使。」:「。」

yǒu yí gè chān fú wáng de jūn zhǎng duì shén rén shuō :「 jí biàn yē hé huá shǐ tiān kāi le chuāng hù , yě bù néng yǒu zhè shì 。」 yǐ lì shā shuō :「 nǐ bì qīn yǎn kàn jiàn , què bù dé chī 。」

Then the captain on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, “Behold, if the LORD made windows in heaven, could this thing be?” He said, “Behold, you will see it with your eyes, but will not eat of it.”

:「

zài chéng mén nà lǐ yǒu sì gè cháng dà má fēng de rén , tā men bǐ cǐ shuō :「 wǒ men wèi hé zuò zài zhè lǐ děng sǐ ne ?

Now there were four leprous men at the entrance of the gate. They said to one another, “Why do we sit here until we die?

!」

wǒ men ruò shuō , jìn chéng qù ba ! chéng lǐ yǒu jī huāng , bì sǐ zài nà lǐ ; ruò zài zhè lǐ zuò zhe bú dòng , yě bì shì sǐ 。 lái ba , wǒ men qù tóu xiáng yà lán rén de jūn duì , tā men ruò liú wǒ men de huó mìng , jiù huó zhe ; ruò shā wǒ men , jiù sǐ le ba !」

If we say, ‘We will enter into the city,’ then the famine is in the city, and we will die there. If we sit still here, we also die. Now therefore come, and let’s surrender to the army of the Syrians. If they save us alive, we will live; and if they kill us, we will only die.”

huáng hūn de shí hòu , tā men qǐ lái wǎng yà lán rén de yíng pán qù ; dào le yíng biān , bú jiàn yì rén zài nà lǐ 。

They rose up in the twilight to go to the camp of the Syrians. When they had come to the outermost part of the camp of the Syrians, behold, no man was there.

使:「贿。」

yīn wéi zhǔ shǐ yà lán rén de jūn duì tīng jiàn chē mǎ de shēng yīn , shì dà jūn de shēng yīn ; tā men jiù bǐ cǐ shuō :「 zhè bì shì yǐ sè liè wáng huì mǎi hè rén de zhū wáng hé āi jí rén de zhū wáng lái gōng jī wǒ men 。」

For the Lord had made the army of the Syrians to hear the sound of chariots and the sound of horses, even the noise of a great army; and they said to one another, “Behold, the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites and the kings of the Egyptians to attack us.”

suǒ yǐ , zài huáng hūn de shí hòu tā men qǐ lái táo pǎo , piě xià zhàng péng 、 mǎ 、 lǘ , yíng pán zhào jiù , zhǐ gù táo mìng 。

Therefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, their horses, and their donkeys, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life.

nà xiē zhǎng dà má fēng de dào le yíng biān , jìn le zhàng péng , chī le hē le , qiě cóng qí zhōng ná chū jīn yín hé yī fu lái , qù shōu cáng le ; huí lái yòu jìn le yí zuò zhàng péng , cóng qí zhōng ná chū cái wù lái qù shōu cáng le 。

When these lepers came to the outermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and ate and drank, then carried away silver, gold, and clothing and went and hid it. Then they came back, and entered into another tent and carried things from there also, and went and hid them.

:「!」

nà shí , tā men bǐ cǐ shuō :「 wǒ men suǒ zuò de bù hǎo ! jīn rì shì yǒu hǎo xìn xī de rì zi , wǒ men jìng bú zuò shēng ! ruò děng dào tiān liàng , zuì bì lín dào wǒ men 。 lái ba , wǒ men yǔ wáng jiā bào xìn qù !」

Then they said to one another, “We aren’t doing right. Today is a day of good news, and we keep silent. If we wait until the morning light, punishment will overtake us. Now therefore come, let’s go and tell the king’s household.”

:「。」

tā men jiù qù jiào shǒu chéng mén de , gào sù tā men shuō :「 wǒ men dào le yà lán rén de yíng , bú jiàn yì rén zài nà lǐ , yě wú rén shēng , zhǐ yǒu shuān zhe de mǎ hé lǘ , zhàng péng dōu zhào jiù 。」

So they came and called to the city gatekeepers; and they told them, “We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, not even a man’s voice, but the horses tied, and the donkeys tied, and the tents as they were.”

shǒu chéng mén de jiào le zhòng shǒu mén de rén lái , tā men jiù jìn qù yǔ wáng jiā bào xìn 。

Then the gatekeepers called out and told it to the king’s household within.

:「饿:『。』」

wáng yè jiān qǐ lái , duì chén pú shuō :「 wǒ gào sù nǐ men yà lán rén xiàng wǒ men rú hé xíng 。 tā men zhī dào wǒ men jī è , suǒ yǐ lí yíng , mái fú zài tián yě , shuō :『 yǐ sè liè rén chū chéng de shí hòu , wǒ men jiù huó zhuō tā men , dé yǐ jìn chéng 。』」

The king arose in the night, and said to his servants, “I will now show you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we are hungry. Therefore they have gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, ‘When they come out of the city, we shall take them alive, and get into the city.’”

:「),。」

yǒu yí gè chén pú duì wáng shuō :「 wǒ men bù rú yòng chéng lǐ shèng xià zhī mǎ zhōng de wǔ pǐ mǎ ( mǎ hé chéng lǐ shèng xià de yǐ sè liè rén dōu shì yí yàng , kuài yào miè jué ), dǎ fā rén qù kuī tàn 。」

One of his servants answered, “Please let some people take five of the horses that remain, which are left in the city. Behold, they are like all the multitude of Israel who are left in it. Behold, they are like all the multitude of Israel who are consumed. Let’s send and see.”

:「。」

yú shì qǔ le liǎng liàng chē hé mǎ , wáng chà rén qù zhuī xún yà lán jūn , shuō :「 nǐ men qù kuī tàn kuī tàn 。」

Therefore they took two chariots with horses; and the king sent them out to the Syrian army, saying, “Go and see.”

tā men jiù zhuī xún dào yuē dàn hé , kàn jiàn mǎn dào shàng dōu shì yà lán rén jí pǎo shí diū qì de yī fu qì jù , shǐ zhě jiù huí lái bào gào wáng 。

They went after them to the Jordan; and behold, all the path was full of garments and equipment which the Syrians had cast away in their haste. The messengers returned and told the king.

zhòng rén jiù chū qù , lǔ lüè yà lán rén de yíng pán 。 yú shì yí xì yà xì miàn mài yín yí shè kè lè , èr xì yà dà mài yě mài yín yí shè kè lè , zhèng rú yē hé huá suǒ shuō de 。

The people went out and plundered the camp of the Syrians. So a seah of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to the LORD’s word.

wáng pài chān fú tā de nà jūn zhǎng zài chéng mén kǒu tán yā , zhòng rén zài nà lǐ jiāng tā jiàn tà , tā jiù sǐ le , zhèng rú shén rén zài wáng xià lái jiàn tā de shí hòu suǒ shuō de 。

The king had appointed the captain on whose hand he leaned to be in charge of the gate; and the people trampled over him in the gate, and he died as the man of God had said, who spoke when the king came down to him.

:「。」

shén rén céng duì wáng shuō :「 míng rì yuē dào zhè shí hòu , zài sā mǎ lì yà chéng mén kǒu , èr xì yà dà mài yào mài yín yí shè kè lè , yí xì yà xì miàn yě yào mài yín yí shè kè lè 。」

It happened as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, “Two seahs of barley for a shekel, and a seah of fine flour for a shekel, shall be tomorrow about this time in the gate of Samaria;”

:「便使。」:「。」

nà jūn zhǎng duì shén rén shuō :「 jí biàn yē hé huá shǐ tiān kāi le chuāng hù , yě bù néng yǒu zhè shì 。」 shén rén shuō :「 nǐ bì qīn yǎn kàn jiàn , què bù dé chī 。」

and that captain answered the man of God, and said, “Now, behold, if the LORD made windows in heaven, might such a thing be?” and he said, “Behold, you will see it with your eyes, but will not eat of it.”

zhè huà guǒ rán yìng yàn zài tā shēn shàng ; yīn wèi zhòng rén zài chéng mén kǒu jiāng tā jiàn tà , tā jiù sǐ le 。

It happened like that to him, for the people trampled over him in the gate, and he died.
