cóng qián zài bǎi xìng zhōng yǒu jiǎ xiān zhī qǐ lái , jiāng lái zài nǐ men zhōng jiān yě bì yǒu jiǎ shī fu , sī zì yǐn jìn xiàn hài rén de yì duān , lián mǎi tā men de zhǔ tā men yě bù chéng rèn , zì qǔ sù sù dì miè wáng 。

But false prophets also arose among the people, as false teachers will also be among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction.

便

jiāng yǒu xǔ duō rén suí cóng tā men xié yín de xíng wéi , biàn jiào zhēn dào yīn tā men de yuán gù bèi huǐ bàng 。

Many will follow their immoral ways, and as a result, the way of the truth will be maligned.

tā men yīn yǒu tān xīn , yào yòng niē zào de yán yǔ zài nǐ men shēn shàng qǔ lì 。 tā men de xíng fá , zì gǔ yǐ lái bìng bù chí yán ; tā men de miè wáng yě bì sù sù lái dào 。

In covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words: whose sentence now from of old doesn’t linger, and their destruction will not slumber.

使

jiù shì tiān shǐ fàn le zuì , shén yě méi yǒu kuān róng , céng bǎ tā men diū zài dì yù , jiāo zài hēi àn kēng zhōng , děng hòu shěn pàn 。

For if God didn’t spare angels when they sinned, but cast them down to Tartarus, and committed them to pits of darkness to be reserved for judgment;

shén yě méi yǒu kuān róng shàng gǔ de shì dài , céng jiào hóng shuǐ lín dào nà bú jìng qián de shì dài , què bǎo hù le chuán yì dào de nuó yà yì jiā bā kǒu 。

and didn’t spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah with seven others, a preacher of righteousness, when he brought a flood on the world of the ungodly,

yòu pàn dìng suǒ duō mǎ 、 é mó lā , jiāng èr chéng qīng fù , fén shāo chéng huī , zuò wéi hòu shì bú jìng qián rén de jiàn jiè ;

and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, having made them an example to those who would live in an ungodly way,

and delivered righteous Lot, who was very distressed by the lustful life of the wicked

yīn wèi nà yì rén zhù zài tā men zhōng jiān , kàn jiàn tīng jiàn tā men bù fǎ de shì , tā de yì xīn jiù tiān tiān shāng tòng 。)

(for that righteous man dwelling among them was tormented in his righteous soul from day to day with seeing and hearing lawless deeds),

zhǔ zhī dào dā jiù jìng qián de rén tuō lí shì tàn , bǎ bú yì de rén liú zài xíng fá zhī xià , děng hòu shěn pàn de rì zi 。

then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment,

nà xiē suí ròu shēn 、 zòng wū huì de qíng yù 、 qīng màn zhǔ zhì zhī rén de , gèng shì rú cǐ 。 tā men dǎn dà rèn xìng , huǐ bàng zài zūn wèi de , yě bù zhī jù pà 。

but chiefly those who walk after the flesh in the lust of defilement and despise authority. Daring, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries,

使

jiù shì tiān shǐ , suī rán lì liàng quán néng gèng dà , hái bú yòng huǐ bàng de huà zài zhǔ miàn qián gào tā men 。

whereas angels, though greater in might and power, don’t bring a slanderous judgment against them before the Lord.

dàn zhè xiē rén hǎo xiàng méi yǒu líng xìng , shēng lái jiù shì chù lèi , yǐ bèi zhuō ná zǎi shā de 。 tā men huǐ bàng suǒ bù xiǎo de de shì , zhèng zài bài huài rén de shí hòu , zì jǐ bì zāo yù bài huài 。

But these, as unreasoning creatures, born natural animals to be taken and destroyed, speaking evil in matters about which they are ignorant, will in their destroying surely be destroyed,

xíng de bú yì , jiù dé le bú yì de gōng jià 。 zhè xiē rén xǐ ài bái zhòu yàn lè , tā men yǐ bèi diàn wū , yòu yǒu xiá cī , zhèng yǔ nǐ men yì tóng zuò xí , jiù yǐ zì jǐ de guǐ zhà wèi kuài lè 。

receiving the wages of unrighteousness; people who count it pleasure to revel in the daytime, spots and defects, reveling in their deceit while they feast with you;

tā men mǎn yǎn shì yín sè , zhǐ bú zhù fàn zuì , yǐn yòu nà xīn bù jiān gù de rén , xīn zhōng xí guàn le tān lán , zhèng shì bèi zhòu zǔ de zhǒng lèi 。

having eyes full of adultery, and who can’t cease from sin, enticing unsettled souls, having a heart trained in greed, accursed children!

tā men lí qì zhèng lù , jiù zǒu chà le , suí cóng bǐ ěr zhī zǐ bā lán de lù 。 bā lán jiù shì nà tān ài bú yì zhī gōng jià de xiān zhī ,

Forsaking the right way, they went astray, having followed the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of wrongdoing;

tā què wèi zì jǐ de guò fàn shòu le zé bèi ; nà bù néng shuō huà de lǘ yǐ rén yán lán zǔ xiān zhī de kuáng wàng 。

but he was rebuked for his own disobedience. A speechless donkey spoke with a man’s voice and stopped the madness of the prophet.

zhè xiē rén shì wú shuǐ de jǐng , shì kuáng fēng cuī bī de wù qì , yǒu mò hēi de yōu àn wèi tā men cún liú 。

These are wells without water, clouds driven by a storm, for whom the blackness of darkness has been reserved forever.

tā men shuō xū wàng jīn kuā de dà huà , yòng ròu shēn de qíng yù hé xié yín de shì yǐn yòu nà xiē gāng cái tuō lí wàng xíng de rén 。

For, uttering great swelling words of emptiness, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by licentiousness, those who are indeed escaping from those who live in error;

tā men yīng xǔ rén dé yǐ zì yóu , zì jǐ què zuò bài huài de nú pú , yīn wèi rén bèi shuí zhì fú jiù shì shuí de nú pú 。

promising them liberty, while they themselves are bondservants of corruption; for a man is brought into bondage by whoever overcomes him.

For if, after they have escaped the defilement of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in it and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.

tā men xiǎo dé yì lù , jìng bèi qì le chuán gěi tā men de shèng mìng , dǎo bù rú bù xiǎo de wèi miào 。

For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.

sú yǔ shuō dé zhēn bú cuò : gǒu suǒ tǔ de , tā zhuǎn guò lái yòu chī ; zhū xǐ jìng le yòu huí dào ní lǐ qù gǔn ; zhè huà zài tā men shēn shàng zhèng hé shì 。

But it has happened to them according to the true proverb, “The dog turns to his own vomit again,” and “the sow that has washed to wallowing in the mire.”
