2 Samuel 14:7

现在全家的人都起来攻击婢女，说：『你将那打死兄弟的交出来，我们好治死他，偿他打死兄弟的命，灭绝那承受家业的。』这样，他们要将我剩下的炭火灭尽，不与我丈夫留名留后在世上。」

xiàn zài quán jiā de rén dōu qǐ lái gōng jī bì nǚ ， shuō ：『 nǐ jiāng nà dǎ sǐ xiōng dì de jiāo chū lái ， wǒ men hǎo zhì sǐ tā ， cháng tā dǎ sǐ xiōng dì de mìng ， miè jué nà chéng shòu jiā yè de 。』 zhè yàng ， tā men yào jiāng wǒ shèng xià de tàn huǒ miè jìn ， bù yǔ wǒ zhàng fu liú míng liú hòu zài shì shàng 。」

Behold, the whole family has risen against your servant, and they say, ‘Deliver him who struck his brother, that we may kill him for the life of his brother whom he killed, and so destroy the heir also.’ Thus they would quench my coal which is left, and would leave to my husband neither name nor remainder on the surface of the earth.”
