bō sī wáng sāi lǔ shì dì sān nián , yǒu shì xiǎn gěi chēng wéi bó tí shā sā de dàn yǐ lǐ 。 zhè shì shì zhēn de , shì zhǐ zhe dà zhēng zhàn ; dàn yǐ lǐ tōng dá zhè shì , míng bái zhè yì xiàng 。

In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a message was revealed to Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the message was true, even a great warfare. He understood the message, and had understanding of the vision.

dāng nà shí , wǒ — dàn yǐ lǐ bēi shāng le sān gè qī rì 。

In those days I, Daniel, was mourning three whole weeks.

měi wèi wǒ méi yǒu chī , jiǔ ròu méi yǒu rù wǒ de kǒu , yě méi yǒu yòng yóu mǒ wǒ de shēn , zhí dào mǎn le sān gè qī rì 。

I ate no pleasant food. No meat or wine came into my mouth. I didn’t anoint myself at all, until three whole weeks were fulfilled.

zhēng yuè èr shí sì rì , wǒ zài dǐ gé lǐ sī dà hé biān ,

In the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel,

穿

jǔ mù guān kàn , jiàn yǒu yì rén shēn chuān xì má yī , yāo shù wū fǎ jīng jīn dài 。

I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, there was a man clothed in linen, whose waist was adorned with pure gold of Uphaz.

tā shēn tǐ rú shuǐ cāng yù , miàn mào rú shǎn diàn , yǎn mù rú huǒ bǎ , shǒu hé jiǎo rú guāng míng de tóng , shuō huà de shēng yīn rú dà zhòng de shēng yīn 。

His body also was like beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as flaming torches. His arms and his feet were like burnished bronze. The voice of his words was like the voice of a multitude.

zhè yì xiàng wéi yǒu wǒ — dàn yǐ lǐ yì rén kàn jiàn , tóng zhe wǒ de rén méi yǒu kàn jiàn 。 tā men què dà dà zhàn jīng , táo pǎo yǐn cáng ,

I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, for the men who were with me didn’t see the vision, but a great quaking fell on them, and they fled to hide themselves.

便

zhī shèng xià wǒ yì rén 。 wǒ jiàn le zhè dà yì xiàng biàn hún shēn wú lì , miàn mào shī sè , háo wú qì lì 。

So I was left alone and saw this great vision. No strength remained in me; for my face grew deathly pale, and I retained no strength.

wǒ què tīng jiàn tā shuō huà de shēng yīn , yì tīng jiàn jiù miàn fú zài dì chén shuì le 。

Yet I heard the voice of his words. When I heard the voice of his words, then I fell into a deep sleep on my face, with my face toward the ground.

使

hū rán , yǒu yì shǒu àn zài wǒ shēn shàng , shǐ wǒ yòng xī hé shǒu zhǎng zhī chí wēi qǐ 。

Behold, a hand touched me, which set me on my knees and on the palms of my hands.

tā duì wǒ shuō :「 dà méng juàn ài de dàn yǐ lǐ a , yào míng bái wǒ yǔ nǐ suǒ shuō de huà , zhǐ guǎn zhàn qǐ lái , yīn wèi wǒ xiàn zài fèng chāi qiǎn lái dào nǐ zhè lǐ 。」 tā duì wǒ shuō zhè huà , wǒ biàn zhàn zhàn jīng jīng dì lì qǐ lái 。

He said to me, “Daniel, you greatly beloved man, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for I have been sent to you, now.” When he had spoken this word to me, I stood trembling.

:「

tā jiù shuō :「 dàn yǐ lǐ a , bú yào jù pà ! yīn wèi cóng nǐ dì yī rì zhuān xīn qiú míng bái jiāng lái de shì , yòu zài nǐ shén miàn qián kè kǔ jǐ xīn , nǐ de yán yǔ yǐ méng yīng yǔn ; wǒ shì yīn nǐ de yán yǔ ér lái 。

Then he said to me, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel; for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard. I have come for your words’ sake.

dàn bō sī guó de mó jūn lán zǔ wǒ èr shí yī rì 。 hū rán yǒu dà jūn zhōng de yí wèi mǐ jiā lè lái bāng zhù wǒ , wǒ jiù tíng liú zài bō sī zhū wáng nà lǐ 。

But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; but, behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me because I remained there with the kings of Persia.

使。」

xiàn zài wǒ lái , yào shǐ nǐ míng bái běn guó zhī mín rì hòu bì zāo yù de shì , yīn wèi zhè yì xiàng guān hū hòu lái xǔ duō de rì zi 。」

Now I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision is yet for many days.”

tā xiàng wǒ zhè yàng shuō , wǒ jiù liǎn miàn cháo dì , yǎ kǒu wú shēng 。

When he had spoken these words to me, I set my face toward the ground and was mute.

便:「

bú liào , yǒu yí wèi xiàng rén de , mō wǒ de zuǐ chún , wǒ biàn kāi kǒu xiàng nà zhàn zài wǒ miàn qián de shuō :「 wǒ zhǔ a , yīn jiàn zhè yì xiàng , wǒ dà dà chóu kǔ , háo wú qì lì 。

Behold, one in the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth, and spoke and said to him who stood before me, “My lord, by reason of the vision my sorrows have overtaken me, and I retain no strength.

。」

wǒ zhǔ de pú rén zěn néng yǔ wǒ zhǔ shuō huà ne ? wǒ yí jiàn yì xiàng jiù hún shēn wú lì , háo wú qì xī 。」

For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? For as for me, immediately there remained no strength in me. There was no breath left in me.”

使

yǒu yí wèi xíng zhuàng xiàng rén de yòu mō wǒ , shǐ wǒ yǒu lì liàng 。

Then one like the appearance of a man touched me again, and he strengthened me.

:「。」便:「使。」

tā shuō :「 dà méng juàn ài de rén nǎ , bú yào jù pà , yuàn nǐ píng ān ! nǐ zǒng yào jiān qiáng 。」 tā yí xiàng wǒ shuō huà , wǒ biàn jué de yǒu lì liàng , shuō :「 wǒ zhǔ qǐng shuō , yīn nǐ shǐ wǒ yǒu lì liàng 。」

He said, “Greatly beloved man, don’t be afraid. Peace be to you. Be strong. Yes, be strong.” When he spoke to me, I was strengthened, and said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”

:「

tā jiù shuō :「 nǐ zhī dào wǒ wèi hé lái jiàn nǐ ma ? xiàn zài wǒ yào huí qù yǔ bō sī de mó jūn zhēng zhàn , wǒ qù hòu , xī là de mó jūn bì lái 。

Then he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? Now I will return to fight with the prince of Persia. When I go out, behold, the prince of Greece will come.

。」

dàn wǒ yào jiāng nà lù zài zhēn què shū shàng de shì gào sù nǐ 。 chú le nǐ men de dà jūn mǐ jiā lè zhī wài , méi yǒu bāng zhù wǒ dǐ dǎng zhè liǎng mó jūn de 。」

But I will tell you that which is inscribed in the writing of truth. There is no one who holds with me against these but Michael your prince.
