Deuteronomy 21

「在耶和华—你 神所赐你为业的地上，若遇见被杀的人倒在田野，不知道是谁杀的，

「 zài yē hé huá — nǐ shén suǒ cì nǐ wèi yè de dì shàng ， ruò yù jiàn bèi shā de rén dǎo zài tián yě ， bù zhī dào shì shuí shā de ，

If someone is found slain in the land which the LORD your God gives you to possess, lying in the field, and it isn’t known who has struck him,

长老和审判官就要出去，从被杀的人那里量起，直量到四围的城邑，

zhǎng lǎo hé shěn pàn guān jiù yào chū qù ， cóng bèi shā de rén nà lǐ liáng qǐ ， zhí liáng dào sì wéi de chéng yì ，

then your elders and your judges shall come out, and they shall measure to the cities which are around him who is slain.

看哪城离被杀的人最近，那城的长老就要从牛群中取一只未曾耕地、未曾负轭的母牛犊，

kàn nǎ chéng lí bèi shā de rén zuì jìn ， nà chéng de cháng lǎo jiù yào cóng niú qún zhōng qǔ yì zhī wèi céng gēng dì 、 wèi céng fù è de mǔ niú dú ，

It shall be that the elders of the city which is nearest to the slain man shall take a heifer of the herd, which hasn’t been worked with and which has not drawn in the yoke.

把母牛犊牵到流水、未曾耕种的山谷去，在谷中打折母牛犊的颈项。

bǎ mǔ niú dú qiān dào liú shuǐ 、 wèi céng gēng zhòng de shān gǔ qù ， zài gǔ zhōng dǎ zhé mǔ niú dú de jǐng xiàng 。

The elders of that city shall bring the heifer down to a valley with running water, which is neither plowed nor sown, and shall break the heifer’s neck there in the valley.

祭司利未的子孙要近前来；因为耶和华—你的 神拣选了他们事奉他，奉耶和华的名祝福，所有争讼殴打的事都要凭他们判断。

jì sī lì wèi de zǐ sūn yào jìn qián lái ； yīn wèi yē hé huá — nǐ de shén jiǎn xuǎn le tā men shì fèng tā ， fèng yē hé huá de míng zhù fú ， suǒ yǒu zhēng sòng ōu dǎ de shì dōu yào píng tā men pàn duàn 。

The priests the sons of Levi shall come near, for them the LORD your God has chosen to minister to him, and to bless in the LORD’s name; and according to their word shall every controversy and every assault be decided.

那城的众长老，就是离被杀的人最近的，要在那山谷中，在所打折颈项的母牛犊以上洗手，

nà chéng de zhòng zhǎng lǎo ， jiù shì lí bèi shā de rén zuì jìn de ， yào zài nà shān gǔ zhōng ， zài suǒ dǎ zhé jǐng xiàng de mǔ niú dú yǐ shàng xǐ shǒu ，

All the elders of that city which is nearest to the slain man shall wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the valley.

祷告 说：『我们的手未曾流这人的血；我们的眼也未曾看见这事。

dǎo gào shuō ：『 wǒ men de shǒu wèi céng liú zhè rén de xuè ； wǒ men de yǎn yě wèi céng kàn jiàn zhè shì 。

They shall answer and say, “Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our eyes seen it.

耶和华啊，求你赦免你所救赎的以色列民，不要使流无辜血的罪归在你的百姓以色列中间。』这样，流血的罪必得赦免。

yē hé huá a ， qiú nǐ shè miǎn nǐ suǒ jiù shú de yǐ sè liè mín ， bú yào shǐ liú wú gū xuè de zuì guī zài nǐ de bǎi xìng yǐ sè liè zhōng jiān 。』 zhè yàng ， liú xuè de zuì bì dé shè miǎn 。

Forgive, LORD, your people Israel, whom you have redeemed, and don’t allow innocent blood among your people Israel.” The blood shall be forgiven them.

你行耶和华眼中看为正的事，就可以从你们中间除掉流无辜血的罪。」

nǐ xíng yē hé huá yǎn zhōng kàn wèi zhèng de shì ， jiù kě yǐ cóng nǐ men zhōng jiān chú diào liú wú gū xuè de zuì 。」

So you shall put away the innocent blood from among you, when you shall do that which is right in the LORD’s eyes.

「你出去与仇敌争战的时候，耶和华—你的 神将他们交在你手中，你就掳了他们去。

「 nǐ chū qù yǔ chóu dí zhēng zhàn de shí hòu ， yē hé huá — nǐ de shén jiāng tā men jiāo zài nǐ shǒu zhōng ， nǐ jiù lǔ le tā men qù 。

When you go out to battle against your enemies, and the LORD your God delivers them into your hands and you carry them away captive,

若在被掳的人中见有美貌的女子，恋慕她，要娶她为妻，

ruò zài bèi lǔ de rén zhōng jiàn yǒu měi mào de nǚ zǐ ， liàn mù tā ， yào qǔ tā wèi qī ，

and see among the captives a beautiful woman, and you are attracted to her, and desire to take her as your wife,

就可以领她到你家里去；她便要剃头发，修指甲，

jiù kě yǐ lǐng tā dào nǐ jiā lǐ qù ； tā biàn yào tì tóu fa ， xiū zhǐ jiǎ ，

then you shall bring her home to your house. She shall shave her head and trim her nails.

脱去被掳时所穿的衣服，住在你家里哀哭父母一个整月，然后可以与她同房。你作她的丈夫，她作你的妻子。

tuō qù bèi lǔ shí suǒ chuān de yī fu ， zhù zài nǐ jiā lǐ āi kū fù mǔ yí gè zhěng yuè ， rán hòu kě yǐ yǔ tā tóng fáng 。 nǐ zuò tā de zhàng fu ， tā zuò nǐ de qī zǐ 。

She shall take off the clothing of her captivity, and shall remain in your house, and bewail her father and her mother a full month. After that you shall go in to her and be her husband, and she shall be your wife.

后来你若不喜悦她，就要由她随意出去，决不可为钱卖她，也不可当婢女待她，因为你玷污了她。」

hòu lái nǐ ruò bù xǐ yuè tā ， jiù yào yóu tā suí yì chū qù ， jué bù kě wèi qián mài tā ， yě bù kě dāng bì nǚ dài tā ， yīn wèi nǐ diàn wū le tā 。」

It shall be, if you have no delight in her, then you shall let her go where she desires; but you shall not sell her at all for money. You shall not deal with her as a slave, because you have humbled her.

「人若有二妻，一为所爱，一为所恶，所爱的、所恶的都给他生了儿子，但长子是所恶之妻生的。

「 rén ruò yǒu èr qī ， yí wèi suǒ ài ， yí wèi suǒ è ， suǒ ài de 、 suǒ è de dōu gěi tā shēng le ér zi ， dàn zhǎng zǐ shì suǒ è zhī qī shēng de 。

If a man has two wives, the one beloved and the other hated, and they have borne him children, both the beloved and the hated, and if the firstborn son is hers who was hated,

到了把产业分给儿子承受的时候，不可将所爱之妻生的儿子立为长子，在所恶之妻生的儿子以上，

dào le bǎ chǎn yè fēn gěi ér zi chéng shòu de shí hòu ， bù kě jiāng suǒ ài zhī qī shēng de ér zi lì wèi zhǎng zǐ ， zài suǒ è zhī qī shēng de ér zi yǐ shàng ，

then it shall be, in the day that he causes his sons to inherit that which he has, that he may not give the son of the beloved the rights of the firstborn before the son of the hated, who is the firstborn;

却要认所恶之妻生的儿子为长子，将产业多加一分给他；因这儿子是他力量强壮的时候生的，长子的名分本当归他。」

què yào rèn suǒ è zhī qī shēng de ér zi wèi zhǎng zǐ ， jiāng chǎn yè duō jiā yì fēn gěi tā ； yīn zhè ér zi shì tā lì liàng qiáng zhuàng de shí hòu shēng de ， zhǎng zǐ de míng fēn běn dāng guī tā 。」

but he shall acknowledge the firstborn, the son of the hated, by giving him a double portion of all that he has; for he is the beginning of his strength. The right of the firstborn is his.

「人若有顽梗悖逆的儿子，不听从父母的话，他们虽惩治他，他仍不听从，

「 rén ruò yǒu wán gěng bèi nì de ér zi ， bù tīng cóng fù mǔ de huà ， tā men suī chéng zhì tā ， tā réng bù tīng cóng ，

If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and though they chasten him, will not listen to them,

父母就要抓住他，将他带到本地的城门、本城的长老那里，

fù mǔ jiù yào zhuā zhù tā ， jiāng tā dài dào běn dì de chéng mén 、 běn chéng de zhǎng lǎo nà lǐ ，

then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city and to the gate of his place.

对长老说：『我们这儿子顽梗悖逆，不听从我们的话，是贪食好酒的人。』

duì zhǎng lǎo shuō ：『 wǒ men zhè ér zi wán gěng bèi nì ， bù tīng cóng wǒ men de huà ， shì tān shí hǎo jiǔ de rén 。』

They shall tell the elders of his city, “This our son is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey our voice. He is a glutton and a drunkard.”

本城的众人就要用石头将他打死。这样，就把那恶从你们中间除掉，以色列众人都要听见害怕。」

běn chéng de zhòng rén jiù yào yòng shí tou jiāng tā dǎ sǐ 。 zhè yàng ， jiù bǎ nà è cóng nǐ men zhōng jiān chú diào ， yǐ sè liè zhòng rén dōu yào tīng jiàn hài pà 。」

All the men of his city shall stone him to death with stones. So you shall remove the evil from among you. All Israel shall hear, and fear.

「人若犯该死的罪，被治死了，你将他挂在木头上，

「 rén ruò fàn gāi sǐ de zuì ， bèi zhì sǐ le ， nǐ jiāng tā guà zài mù tou shàng ，

If a man has committed a sin worthy of death, and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree,

他的尸首不可留在木头上过夜，必要当日将他葬埋，免得玷污了耶和华—你 神所赐你为业之地。因为被挂的人是在 神面前受咒诅的。

tā de shī shǒu bù kě liú zài mù tou shàng guò yè ， bì yào dāng rì jiāng tā zàng mái ， miǎn de diàn wū le yē hé huá — nǐ shén suǒ cì nǐ wèi yè zhī dì 。 yīn wèi bèi guà de rén shì zài shén miàn qián shòu zhòu zǔ de 。

his body shall not remain all night on the tree, but you shall surely bury him the same day; for he who is hanged is accursed of God. Don’t defile your land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance.
