勒索使智慧人变为愚妄； 贿赂能败坏人的慧心。
lè suǒ shǐ zhì huì rén biàn wèi yú wàng ； huì lù néng bài huài rén de huì xīn 。
Surely extortion makes the wise man foolish; and a bribe destroys the understanding.
