Exodus 16
以色列全会众从以琳起行，在出埃及后第二个月十五日到了以琳和西奈中间、汛的旷野。
yǐ sè liè quán huì zhòng cóng yǐ lín qǐ xíng ， zài chū āi jí hòu dì èr gè yuè shí wǔ rì dào le yǐ lín hé xī nài zhōng jiān 、 xùn de kuàng yě 。
They took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.
以色列全会众在旷野向摩西、亚伦发怨言，
yǐ sè liè quán huì zhòng zài kuàng yě xiàng mó xī 、 yà lún fā yuàn yán ，
The whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron in the wilderness;
说：「巴不得我们早死在埃及地、耶和华的手下；那时我们坐在肉锅旁边，吃得饱足。你们将我们领出来，到这旷野，是要叫这全会众都饿死啊！」
shuō ：「 bā bù dé wǒ men zǎo sǐ zài āi jí dì 、 yē hé huá de shǒu xià ； nà shí wǒ men zuò zài ròu guō páng biān ， chī dé bǎo zú 。 nǐ men jiāng wǒ men lǐng chū lái ， dào zhè kuàng yě ， shì yào jiào zhè quán huì zhòng dōu è sǐ a ！」
and the children of Israel said to them, “We wish that we had died by the LORD’s hand in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the meat pots, when we ate our fill of bread, for you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger.”
耶和华对摩西说：「我要将粮食从天降给你们。百姓可以出去，每天收每天的分，我好试验他们遵不遵我的法度。
yē hé huá duì mó xī shuō ：「 wǒ yào jiāng liáng shí cóng tiān jiàng gěi nǐ men 。 bǎi xìng kě yǐ chū qù ， měi tiān shōu měi tiān de fēn ， wǒ hǎo shì yàn tā men zūn bu zūn wǒ de fǎ dù 。
Then the LORD said to Moses, “Behold, I will rain bread from the sky for you, and the people shall go out and gather a day’s portion every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in my law or not.
到第六天，他们要把所收进来的预备好了，比每天所收的多一倍。」
dào dì liù tiān ， tā men yào bǎ suǒ shōu jìn lái de yù bèi hǎo le ， bǐ měi tiān suǒ shōu de duō yí bèi 。」
It shall come to pass on the sixth day, that they shall prepare that which they bring in, and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.”
摩西、亚伦对以色列众人说：「到了晚上，你们要知道是耶和华将你们从埃及地领出来的。
mó xī 、 yà lún duì yǐ sè liè zhòng rén shuō ：「 dào le wǎn shàng ， nǐ men yào zhī dào shì yē hé huá jiāng nǐ men cóng āi jí dì lǐng chū lái de 。
Moses and Aaron said to all the children of Israel, “At evening, you shall know that the LORD has brought you out from the land of Egypt.
早晨，你们要看见耶和华的荣耀，因为耶和华听见你们向他所发的怨言了。我们算什么，你们竟向我们发怨言呢？」
zǎo chén ， nǐ men yào kàn jiàn yē hé huá de róng yào ， yīn wèi yē hé huá tīng jiàn nǐ men xiàng tā suǒ fā de yuàn yán le 。 wǒ men suàn shén me ， nǐ men jìng xiàng wǒ men fā yuàn yán ne ？」
In the morning, you shall see the LORD’s glory; because he hears your murmurings against the LORD. Who are we, that you murmur against us?”
摩西又说：「耶和华晚上必给你们肉吃，早晨必给你们食物得饱；因为你们向耶和华发的怨言，他都听见了。我们算什么，你们的怨言不是向我们发的，乃是向耶和华发的。」
mó xī yòu shuō ：「 yē hé huá wǎn shàng bì gěi nǐ men ròu chī ， zǎo chén bì gěi nǐ men shí wù dé bǎo ； yīn wèi nǐ men xiàng yē hé huá fà de yuàn yán ， tā dōu tīng jiàn le 。 wǒ men suàn shén me ， nǐ men de yuàn yán bú shì xiàng wǒ men fā de ， nǎi shì xiàng yē hé huá fà de 。」
Moses said, “Now the LORD will give you meat to eat in the evening, and in the morning bread to satisfy you, because the LORD hears your murmurings which you murmur against him. And who are we? Your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD.”
摩西对亚伦说：「你告诉以色列全会众说：『你们就近耶和华面前，因为他已经听见你们的怨言了。』」
mó xī duì yà lún shuō ：「 nǐ gào sù yǐ sè liè quán huì zhòng shuō ：『 nǐ men jiù jìn yē hé huá miàn qián ， yīn wèi tā yǐ jīng tīng jiàn nǐ men de yuàn yán le 。』」
Moses said to Aaron, “Tell all the congregation of the children of Israel, ‘Come close to the LORD, for he has heard your murmurings.’”
亚伦正对以色列全会众说话的时候，他们向旷野观看，不料，耶和华的荣光在云中显现。
yà lún zhèng duì yǐ sè liè quán huì zhòng shuō huà de shí hòu ， tā men xiàng kuàng yě guān kàn ， bú liào ， yē hé huá de róng guāng zài yún zhōng xiǎn xiàn 。
As Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the children of Israel, they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the LORD’s glory appeared in the cloud.
「我已经听见以色列人的怨言。你告诉他们说：『到黄昏的时候，你们要吃肉，早晨必有食物得饱，你们就知道我是耶和华—你们的 神。』」
「 wǒ yǐ jīng tīng jiàn yǐ sè liè rén de yuàn yán 。 nǐ gào sù tā men shuō ：『 dào huáng hūn de shí hòu ， nǐ men yào chī ròu ， zǎo chén bì yǒu shí wù dé bǎo ， nǐ men jiù zhī dào wǒ shì yē hé huá — nǐ men de shén 。』」
“I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel. Speak to them, saying, ‘At evening you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God.’”
到了晚上，有鹌鹑飞来，遮满了营；早晨在营四围的地上有露水。
dào le wǎn shàng ， yǒu ān chún fēi lái ， zhē mǎn le yíng ； zǎo chén zài yíng sì wéi de dì shàng yǒu lù shuǐ 。
In the evening, quail came up and covered the camp; and in the morning the dew lay around the camp.
露水上升之后，不料，野地面上有如白霜的小圆物。
lù shuǐ shàng shēng zhī hòu ， bú liào ， yě dì miàn shàng yǒu rú bái shuāng de xiǎo yuán wù 。
When the dew that lay had gone, behold, on the surface of the wilderness was a small round thing, small as the frost on the ground.
以色列人看见，不知道是什么，就彼此对问说：「这是什么呢？」摩西对他们说：「这就是耶和华给你们吃的食物。
yǐ sè liè rén kàn jiàn ， bù zhī dào shì shén me ， jiù bǐ cǐ duì wèn shuō ：「 zhè shì shén me ne ？」 mó xī duì tā men shuō ：「 zhè jiù shì yē hé huá gěi nǐ men chī de shí wù 。
When the children of Israel saw it, they said to one another, “What is it?” For they didn’t know what it was. Moses said to them, “It is the bread which the LORD has given you to eat.
耶和华所吩咐的是这样：你们要按着各人的饭量，为帐棚里的人，按着人数收起来，各拿一俄梅珥。」
yē hé huá suǒ fēn fù de shì zhè yàng ： nǐ men yào àn zhe gè rén de fàn liáng ， wèi zhàng péng lǐ de rén ， àn zhe rén shù shōu qǐ lái ， gè ná yì é méi ěr 。」
This is the thing which the LORD has commanded: ‘Gather of it everyone according to his eating; an omer a head, according to the number of your persons, you shall take it, every man for those who are in his tent.’”
以色列人就这样行；有多收的，有少收的。
yǐ sè liè rén jiù zhè yàng xíng ； yǒu duō shōu de ， yǒu shǎo shōu de 。
The children of Israel did so, and some gathered more, some less.
及至用俄梅珥量一量，多收的也没有余，少收的也没有缺；各人按着自己的饭量收取。
jí zhì yòng é méi ěr liáng yi liáng ， duō shōu de yě méi yǒu yú ， shǎo shōu de yě méi yǒu quē ； gè rén àn zhe zì jǐ de fàn liàng shōu qǔ 。
When they measured it with an omer, he who gathered much had nothing over, and he who gathered little had no lack. They each gathered according to his eating.
摩西对他们说：「所收的，不许什么人留到早晨。」
mó xī duì tā men shuō ：「 suǒ shōu de ， bù xǔ shén me rén liú dào zǎo chén 。」
Moses said to them, “Let no one leave of it until the morning.”
然而他们不听摩西的话，内中有留到早晨的，就生虫变臭了；摩西便向他们发怒。
rán ér tā men bù tīng mó xī de huà ， nèi zhōng yǒu liú dào zǎo chén de ， jiù shēng chóng biàn chòu le ； mó xī biàn xiàng tā men fā nù 。
Notwithstanding they didn’t listen to Moses, but some of them left of it until the morning, so it bred worms and became foul; and Moses was angry with them.
他们每日早晨，按着各人的饭量收取，日头一发热，就消化了。
tā men měi rì zǎo chén ， àn zhe gè rén de fàn liàng shōu qǔ ， rì tou yì fā rè ， jiù xiāo huà le 。
They gathered it morning by morning, everyone according to his eating. When the sun grew hot, it melted.
到第六天，他们收了双倍的食物，每人两俄梅珥。会众的官长来告诉摩西；
dào dì liù tiān ， tā men shōu le shuāng bèi de shí wù ， měi rén liǎng é méi ěr 。 huì zhòng de guān zhǎng lái gào sù mó xī ；
On the sixth day, they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one; and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
摩西对他们说：「耶和华这样说：『明天是圣安息日，是向耶和华守的圣安息日。你们要烤的就烤了，要煮的就煮了，所剩下的都留到早晨。』」
mó xī duì tā men shuō ：「 yē hé huá zhè yàng shuō ：『 míng tiān shì shèng ān xī rì ， shì xiàng yē hé huá shǒu de shèng ān xī rì 。 nǐ men yào kǎo de jiù kǎo le ， yào zhǔ de jiù zhǔ le ， suǒ shèng xià de dōu liú dào zǎo chén 。』」
He said to them, “This is that which the LORD has spoken, ‘Tomorrow is a solemn rest, a holy Sabbath to the LORD. Bake that which you want to bake, and boil that which you want to boil; and all that remains over lay up for yourselves to be kept until the morning.’”
他们就照摩西的吩咐留到早晨，也不臭，里头也没有虫子。
tā men jiù zhào mó xī de fēn fù liú dào zǎo chén ， yě bú chòu ， lǐ tou yě méi yǒu chóng zǐ 。
They laid it up until the morning, as Moses ordered, and it didn’t become foul, and there were no worms in it.
摩西说：「你们今天吃这个吧！因为今天是向耶和华守的安息日；你们在田野必找不着了。
mó xī shuō ：「 nǐ men jīn tiān chī zhè ge ba ！ yīn wèi jīn tiān shì xiàng yē hé huá shǒu de ān xī rì ； nǐ men zài tián yě bì zhǎo bù zhe le 。
Moses said, “Eat that today, for today is a Sabbath to the LORD. Today you shall not find it in the field.
六天可以收取，第七天乃是安息日，那一天必没有了。」
liù tiān kě yǐ shōu qǔ ， dì qī tiān nǎi shì ān xī rì ， nà yì tiān bì méi yǒu le 。」
Six days you shall gather it, but on the seventh day is the Sabbath. In it there shall be none.”
第七天，百姓中有人出去收，什么也找不着。
dì qī tiān ， bǎi xìng zhōng yǒu rén chū qù shōu ， shén me yě zhǎo bù zhe 。
On the seventh day, some of the people went out to gather, and they found none.
耶和华对摩西说：「你们不肯守我的诫命和律法，要到几时呢？
yē hé huá duì mó xī shuō ：「 nǐ men bù kěn shǒu wǒ de jiè mìng hé lǜ fǎ ， yào dào jǐ shí ne ？
The LORD said to Moses, “How long do you refuse to keep my commandments and my laws?
你们看！耶和华既将安息日赐给你们，所以第六天他赐给你们两天的食物，第七天各人要住在自己的地方，不许什么人出去。」
nǐ men kàn ！ yē hé huá jì jiāng ān xī rì cì gěi nǐ men ， suǒ yǐ dì liù tiān tā cì gěi nǐ men liǎng tiān de shí wù ， dì qī tiān gè rén yào zhù zài zì jǐ de dì fāng ， bù xǔ shén me rén chū qù 。」
Behold, because the LORD has given you the Sabbath, therefore he gives you on the sixth day the bread of two days. Everyone stay in his place. Let no one go out of his place on the seventh day.”
这食物，以色列家叫吗哪；样子像芫荽子，颜色是白的，滋味如同搀蜜的薄饼。
zhè shí wù ， yǐ sè liè jiā jiào ma nǎ ； yàng zi xiàng yán sui zǐ ， yán sè shì bái de ， zī wèi rú tóng chān mì de báo bǐng 。
The house of Israel called its name “Manna”, and it was like coriander seed, white; and its taste was like wafers with honey.
摩西说：「耶和华所吩咐的是这样：『要将一满俄梅珥吗哪留到世世代代，使后人可以看见我当日将你们领出埃及地，在旷野所给你们吃的食物。』」
mó xī shuō ：「 yē hé huá suǒ fēn fù de shì zhè yàng ：『 yào jiāng yì mǎn é méi ěr ma nǎ liú dào shì shì dài dài ， shǐ hòu rén kě yǐ kàn jiàn wǒ dāng rì jiāng nǐ men lǐng chū āi jí dì ， zài kuàng yě suǒ gěi nǐ men chī de shí wù 。』」
Moses said, “This is the thing which the LORD has commanded, ‘Let an omer-full of it be kept throughout your generations, that they may see the bread with which I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you out of the land of Egypt.’”
摩西对亚伦说：「你拿一个罐子，盛一满俄梅珥吗哪，存在耶和华面前，要留到世世代代。」
mó xī duì yà lún shuō ：「 nǐ ná yí gè guàn zǐ ， shèng yì mǎn é méi ěr ma nǎ ， cún zài yē hé huá miàn qián ， yào liú dào shì shì dài dài 。」
Moses said to Aaron, “Take a pot, and put an omer-full of manna in it, and lay it up before the LORD, to be kept throughout your generations.”
耶和华怎么吩咐摩西，亚伦就怎么行，把吗哪放在法柜前存留。
yē hé huá zěn me fēn fù mó xī ， yà lún jiù zěn me xíng ， bǎ ma nǎ fàng zài fǎ guì qián cún liú 。
As the LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept.
以色列人吃吗哪共四十年，直到进了有人居住之地，就是迦南的境界。（
yǐ sè liè rén chī ma nǎ gòng sì shí nián ， zhí dào jìn le yǒu rén jū zhù zhī dì ， jiù shì jiā nán de jìng jiè 。（
The children of Israel ate the manna forty years, until they came to an inhabited land. They ate the manna until they came to the borders of the land of Canaan.
