Isaiah 8

耶和华对我说：「你取一个大牌，拿人所用的笔 ，写上『玛黑珥·沙拉勒·哈施·罢斯』 。

yē hé huá duì wǒ shuō ：「 nǐ qǔ yí gè dà pái ， ná rén suǒ yòng de bǐ ， xiě shàng 『 mǎ hēi ěr · shā lā lè · hā shī · bà sī 』 。

The LORD said to me, “Take a large tablet, and write on it with a man’s pen, ‘For Maher Shalal Hash Baz’;

我要用诚实的见证人，祭司乌利亚和耶比利家的儿子撒迦利亚记录这事。」

wǒ yào yòng chéng shí de jiàn zhèng rén ， jì sī wū lì yà hé yē bǐ lì jiā de ér zi sā jiā lì yà jì lù zhè shì 。」

and I will take for myself faithful witnesses to testify: Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.”

我—以赛亚与妻子 同室；她怀孕生子，耶和华就对我说：「给他起名叫玛黑珥·沙拉勒·哈施·罢斯；

wǒ — yǐ sài yà yǔ qī zǐ tóng shì ； tā huái yùn shēng zǐ ， yē hé huá jiù duì wǒ shuō ：「 gěi tā qǐ míng jiào mǎ hēi ěr · shā lā lè · hā shī · bà sī ；

I went to the prophetess, and she conceived, and bore a son. Then the LORD said to me, “Call his name ‘Maher Shalal Hash Baz.’

因为在这小孩子不晓得叫父叫母之先，大马士革的财宝和撒马利亚的掳物必在亚述王面前搬了去。」

yīn wèi zài zhè xiǎo hái zi bù xiǎo de jiào fù jiào mǔ zhī xiān ， dà mǎ shì gé de cái bǎo hé sā mǎ lì yà de lǔ wù bì zài yà shù wáng miàn qián bān le qù 。」

For before the child knows how to say, ‘My father’ and ‘My mother,’ the riches of Damascus and the plunder of Samaria will be carried away by the king of Assyria.”

耶和华又晓谕我说：

yē hé huá yòu xiǎo yù wǒ shuō ：

The LORD spoke to me yet again, saying,

「这百姓既厌弃西罗亚缓流的水，喜悦利汛和利玛利的儿子；

「 zhè bǎi xìng jì yàn qì xī luó yà huǎn liú de shuǐ ， xǐ yuè lì xùn hé lì mǎ lì de ér zi ；

“Because this people has refused the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;

因此，主必使大河翻腾的水猛然冲来，就是亚述王和他所有的威势，必漫过一切的水道，涨过两岸；

yīn cǐ ， zhǔ bì shǐ dà hé fān téng de shuǐ měng rán chōng lái ， jiù shì yà shù wáng hé tā suǒ yǒu de wēi shì ， bì màn guò yí qiè de shuǐ dào ， zhǎng guò liǎng àn ；

now therefore, behold, the Lord brings upon them the mighty flood waters of the River: the king of Assyria and all his glory. It will come up over all its channels, and go over all its banks.

必冲入犹大，涨溢泛滥，直到颈项。以马内利啊，他展开翅膀，遍满你的地。」

bì chōng rù yóu dà ， zhǎng yì fàn làn ， zhí dào jǐng xiàng 。 yǐ mǎ nèi lì a ， tā zhǎn kāi chì bǎng ， biàn mǎn nǐ de dì 。」

It will sweep onward into Judah. It will overflow and pass through. It will reach even to the neck. The stretching out of its wings will fill the width of your land, O Immanuel.

列国的人民哪，任凭你们喧嚷，终必破坏； 远方的众人哪，当侧耳而听！ 任凭你们束起腰来，终必破坏； 你们束起腰来，终必破坏。

liè guó de rén mín nǎ ， rèn píng nǐ men xuān rǎng ， zhōng bì pò huài ； yuǎn fāng de zhòng rén nǎ ， dāng cè ěr ér tīng ！ rèn píng nǐ men shù qǐ yāo lái ， zhōng bì pò huài ； nǐ men shù qǐ yāo lái ， zhōng bì pò huài 。

Make an uproar, you peoples, and be broken in pieces! Listen, all you from far countries: dress for battle, and be shattered! Dress for battle, and be shattered!

任凭你们同谋，终归无有； 任凭你们言定，终不成立； 因为 神与我们同在。

rèn píng nǐ men tóng móu ， zhōng guī wú yǒu ； rèn píng nǐ men yán dìng ， zhōng bù chéng lì ； yīn wèi shén yǔ wǒ men tóng zài 。

Take counsel together, and it will be brought to nothing; speak the word, and it will not stand, for God is with us.”

耶和华以大能的手，指教我不可行这百姓所行的道，对我这样说：

yē hé huá yǐ dà néng de shǒu ， zhǐ jiào wǒ bù kě xíng zhè bǎi xìng suǒ xíng de dào ， duì wǒ zhè yàng shuō ：

For the LORD spoke this to me with a strong hand, and instructed me not to walk in the way of this people, saying,

「这百姓说同谋背叛，你们不要说同谋背叛。他们所怕的，你们不要怕，也不要畏惧。

「 zhè bǎi xìng shuō tóng móu bèi pàn ， nǐ men bú yào shuō tóng móu bèi pàn 。 tā men suǒ pà de ， nǐ men bú yào pà ， yě bú yào wèi jù 。

“Don’t call a conspiracy all that this people call a conspiracy. Don’t fear their threats or be terrorized.

但要尊万军之耶和华为圣，以他为你们所当怕的，所当畏惧的。

dàn yào zūn wàn jūn zhī yē hé huá wèi shèng ， yǐ tā wèi nǐ men suǒ dāng pà de ， suǒ dāng wèi jù de 。

The LORD of Armies is who you must respect as holy. He is the one you must fear. He is the one you must dread.

他必作为圣所，却向以色列两家作绊脚的石头，跌人的磐石；向耶路撒冷的居民作为圈套和网罗。

tā bì zuò wéi shèng suǒ ， què xiàng yǐ sè liè liǎng jiā zuò bàn jiǎo de shí tou ， diē rén de pán shí ； xiàng yē lù sā lěng de jū mín zuò wéi quān tào hé wǎng luó 。

He will be a sanctuary, but for both houses of Israel, he will be a stumbling stone and a rock that makes them fall. For the people of Jerusalem, he will be a trap and a snare.

许多人必在其上绊脚跌倒，而且跌碎，并陷入网罗，被缠住。」

xǔ duō rén bì zài qí shàng bàn jiǎo diē dǎo ， ér qiě diē suì ， bìng xiàn rù wǎng luó ， bèi chán zhù 。」

Many will stumble over it, fall, be broken, be snared, and be captured.”

你要卷起律法书，在我门徒中间封住训诲。

nǐ yào juǎn qǐ lǜ fǎ shū ， zài wǒ mén tú zhōng jiān fēng zhù xùn huì 。

Wrap up the covenant. Seal the law among my disciples.

我要等候那掩面不顾雅各家的耶和华；我也要仰望他。

wǒ yào děng hòu nà yǎn miàn bú gù yǎ gè jiā de yē hé huá ； wǒ yě yào yǎng wàng tā 。

I will wait for the LORD, who hides his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.

看哪，我与耶和华所给我的儿女，就是从住在锡安山万军之耶和华来的，在以色列中作为预兆和奇迹。

kàn nǎ ， wǒ yǔ yē hé huá suǒ gěi wǒ de ér nǚ ， jiù shì cóng zhù zài xī ān shān wàn jūn zhī yē hé huá lái de ， zài yǐ sè liè zhōng zuò wéi yù zhào hé qí jì 。

Behold, I and the children whom the LORD has given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of Armies, who dwells in Mount Zion.

有人对你们说：「当求问那些交鬼的和行巫术的，就是声音绵蛮，言语微细的。」你们便回答说：「百姓不当求问自己的 神吗？岂可为活人求问死人呢？」

yǒu rén duì nǐ men shuō ：「 dāng qiú wèn nà xiē jiāo guǐ de hé xíng wū shù de ， jiù shì shēng yīn mián mán ， yán yǔ wēi xì de 。」 nǐ men biàn huí dá shuō ：「 bǎi xìng bù dāng qiú wèn zì jǐ de shén ma ？ qǐ kě wèi huó rén qiú wèn sǐ rén ne ？」

When they tell you, “Consult with those who have familiar spirits and with the wizards, who chirp and who mutter,” shouldn’t a people consult with their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living?

人当以训诲和法度为标准；他们所说的，若不与此相符，必不得见晨光。

rén dāng yǐ xùn huì hé fǎ dù wèi biāo zhǔn ； tā men suǒ shuō de ， ruò bù yǔ cǐ xiāng fú ， bì bù dé jiàn chén guāng 。

Turn to the law and to the covenant! If they don’t speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them.

他们必经过这地，受艰难，受饥饿；饥饿的时候，心中焦躁，咒骂自己的君王和自己的 神。

tā men bì jīng guò zhè dì ， shòu jiān nán ， shòu jī è ； jī è de shí hòu ， xīn zhōng jiāo zào ， zhòu mà zì jǐ de jūn wáng hé zì jǐ de shén 。

They will pass through it, very distressed and hungry. It will happen that when they are hungry, they will worry, and curse their king and their God. They will turn their faces upward,

仰观上天，俯察下地，不料，尽是艰难、黑暗，和幽暗的痛苦。他们必被赶入乌黑的黑暗中去。

yǎng guān shàng tiān ， fǔ chá xià dì ， bú liào ， jìn shì jiān nán 、 hēi àn ， hé yōu àn de tòng kǔ 。 tā men bì bèi gǎn rù wū hēi de hēi àn zhōng qù 。

then look to the earth and see distress, darkness, and the gloom of anguish. They will be driven into thick darkness.
