John 16

「我已将这些事告诉你们，使你们不至于跌倒。

「 wǒ yǐ jiāng zhè xiē shì gào sù nǐ men ， shǐ nǐ men bú zhì yú diē dǎo 。

“I have said these things to you so that you wouldn’t be caused to stumble.

人要把你们赶出会堂，并且时候将到，凡杀你们的就以为是事奉 神。

rén yào bǎ nǐ men gǎn chū huì táng ， bìng qiě shí hòu jiāng dào ， fán shā nǐ men de jiù yǐ wéi shì shì fèng shén 。

They will put you out of the synagogues. Yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers service to God.

他们这样行，是因未曾认识父，也未曾认识我。

tā men zhè yàng xíng ， shì yīn wèi céng rèn shi fù ， yě wèi céng rèn shi wǒ 。

They will do these things because they have not known the Father nor me.

我将这事告诉你们，是叫你们到了时候可以想起我对你们说过了。」 圣灵的工作 「我起先没有将这事告诉你们，因为我与你们同在。

wǒ jiāng zhè shì gào sù nǐ men ， shì jiào nǐ men dào le shí hòu kě yǐ xiǎng qǐ wǒ duì nǐ men shuō guò le 。」 shèng líng de gōng zuò 「 wǒ qǐ xiān méi yǒu jiāng zhè shì gào sù nǐ men ， yīn wèi wǒ yǔ nǐ men tóng zài 。

But I have told you these things so that when the time comes, you may remember that I told you about them. I didn’t tell you these things from the beginning, because I was with you.

现今我往差我来的父那里去，你们中间并没有人问我：『你往哪里去？』

xiàn jīn wǒ wǎng chà wǒ lái de fù nà lǐ qù ， nǐ men zhōng jiān bìng méi yǒu rén wèn wǒ ：『 nǐ wǎng nǎ lǐ qù ？』

But now I am going to him who sent me, and none of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’

只因我将这事告诉你们，你们就满心忧愁。

zhī yīn wǒ jiāng zhè shì gào sù nǐ men ， nǐ men jiù mǎn xīn yōu chóu 。

But because I have told you these things, sorrow has filled your heart.

然而，我将真情告诉你们，我去是与你们有益的；我若不去，保惠师就不到你们这里来；我若去，就差他来。

rán ér ， wǒ jiāng zhēn qíng gào sù nǐ men ， wǒ qù shì yǔ nǐ men yǒu yì de ； wǒ ruò bú qù ， bǎo huì shī jiù bú dào nǐ men zhè lǐ lái ； wǒ ruò qù ， jiù chà tā lái 。

Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I don’t go away, the Counselor won’t come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.

他既来了，就要叫世人为罪、为义、为审判，自己责备自己。

tā jì lái le ， jiù yào jiào shì rén wéi zuì 、 wèi yì 、 wèi shěn pàn ， zì jǐ zé bèi zì jǐ 。

When he has come, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment;

为罪，是因他们不信我；

wèi zuì ， shì yīn tā men bú xìn wǒ ；

about sin, because they don’t believe in me;

为义，是因我往父那里去，你们就不再见我；

wèi yì ， shì yīn wǒ wǎng fù nà lǐ qù ， nǐ men jiù bú zài jiàn wǒ ；

about righteousness, because I am going to my Father, and you won’t see me any more;

为审判，是因这世界的王受了审判。

wèi shěn pàn ， shì yīn zhè shì jiè de wáng shòu le shěn pàn 。

about judgment, because the prince of this world has been judged.

「我还有好些事要告诉你们，但你们现在担当不了 。

「 wǒ hái yǒu hǎo xiē shì yào gào sù nǐ men ， dàn nǐ men xiàn zài dān dāng bù liǎo 。

“I still have many things to tell you, but you can’t bear them now.

只等真理的圣灵来了，他要引导你们明白 一切的真理；因为他不是凭自己说的，乃是把他所听见的都说出来，并要把将来的事告诉你们。

zhī děng zhēn lǐ de shèng líng lái le ， tā yào yǐn dǎo nǐ men míng bái yí qiè de zhēn lǐ ； yīn wèi tā bú shì píng zì jǐ shuō de ， nǎi shì bǎ tā suǒ tīng jiàn de dōu shuō chū lái ， bìng yào bǎ jiāng lái de shì gào sù nǐ men 。

However, when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming.

他要荣耀我，因为他要将受于我的告诉你们。

tā yào róng yào wǒ ， yīn wèi tā yào jiāng shòu yú wǒ de gào sù nǐ men 。

He will glorify me, for he will take from what is mine and will declare it to you.

凡父所有的，都是我的；所以我说，他要将受于我的告诉你们。」

fán fù suǒ yǒu de ， dōu shì wǒ de ； suǒ yǐ wǒ shuō ， tā yào jiāng shòu yú wǒ de gào sù nǐ men 。」

All things that the Father has are mine; therefore I said that he takes of mine and will declare it to you.

「等不多时，你们就不得见我；再等不多时，你们还要见我。」

「 děng bù duō shí ， nǐ men jiù bù dé jiàn wǒ ； zài děng bù duō shí ， nǐ men hái yào jiàn wǒ 。」

“A little while, and you will not see me. Again a little while, and you will see me.”

有几个门徒就彼此说：「他对我们说：『等不多时，你们就不得见我；再等不多时，你们还要见我』；又说：『因我往父那里去。』这是什么意思呢？」

yǒu jǐ gè mén tú jiù bǐ cǐ shuō ：「 tā duì wǒ men shuō ：『 děng bù duō shí ， nǐ men jiù bù dé jiàn wǒ ； zài děng bù duō shí ， nǐ men hái yào jiàn wǒ 』； yòu shuō ：『 yīn wǒ wǎng fù nà lǐ qù 。』 zhè shì shén me yì sī ne ？」

Some of his disciples therefore said to one another, “What is this that he says to us, ‘A little while, and you won’t see me, and again a little while, and you will see me;’ and, ‘Because I go to the Father’ ?”

门徒彼此说：「他说『等不多时』到底是什么意思呢？我们不明白他所说的话。」

mén tú bǐ cǐ shuō ：「 tā shuō 『 děng bù duō shí 』 dào dǐ shì shén me yì sī ne ？ wǒ men bù míng bái tā suǒ shuō de huà 。」

They said therefore, “What is this that he says, ‘A little while’ ? We don’t know what he is saying.”

耶稣看出他们要问他，就说：「我说『等不多时，你们就不得见我；再等不多时，你们还要见我』，你们为这话彼此相问吗？

yē sū kàn chū tā men yào wèn tā ， jiù shuō ：「 wǒ shuō 『 děng bù duō shí ， nǐ men jiù bù dé jiàn wǒ ； zài děng bù duō shí ， nǐ men hái yào jiàn wǒ 』， nǐ men wèi zhè huà bǐ cǐ xiāng wèn ma ？

Therefore Jesus perceived that they wanted to ask him, and he said to them, “Do you inquire among yourselves concerning this, that I said, ‘A little while, and you won’t see me, and again a little while, and you will see me’?

我实实在在地告诉你们，你们将要痛哭、哀号，世人倒要喜乐；你们将要忧愁，然而你们的忧愁要变为喜乐。

wǒ shí shí zài zài dì gào sù nǐ men ， nǐ men jiāng yào tòng kū 、 āi háo ， shì rén dǎo yào xǐ lè ； nǐ men jiāng yào yōu chóu ， rán ér nǐ men de yōu chóu yào biàn wèi xǐ lè 。

Most certainly I tell you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.

妇人生产的时候就忧愁，因为她的时候到了；既生了孩子，就不再记念那苦楚，因为欢喜世上生了一个人。

fù rén shēng chǎn de shí hòu jiù yōu chóu ， yīn wèi tā de shí hòu dào le ； jì shēng le hái zi ， jiù bú zài jì niàn nà kǔ chǔ ， yīn wèi huān xǐ shì shàng shēng le yí gè rén 。

A woman, when she gives birth, has sorrow because her time has come. But when she has delivered the child, she doesn’t remember the anguish any more, for the joy that a human being is born into the world.

你们现在也是忧愁，但我要再见你们，你们的心就喜乐了；这喜乐也没有人能夺去。

nǐ men xiàn zài yě shì yōu chóu ， dàn wǒ yào zài jiàn nǐ men ， nǐ men de xīn jiù xǐ lè le ； zhè xǐ lè yě méi yǒu rén néng duó qù 。

Therefore you now have sorrow, but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.

到那日，你们什么也就不问我了。我实实在在地告诉你们，你们若向父求什么，他必因我的名赐给你们。

dào nà rì ， nǐ men shén me yě jiù bú wèn wǒ le 。 wǒ shí shí zài zài dì gào sù nǐ men ， nǐ men ruò xiàng fù qiú shén me ， tā bì yīn wǒ de míng cì gěi nǐ men 。

“In that day you will ask me no questions. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.

向来你们没有奉我的名求什么，如今你们求，就必得着，叫你们的喜乐可以满足。」

xiàng lái nǐ men méi yǒu fèng wǒ de míng qiú shén me ， rú jīn nǐ men qiú ， jiù bì dé zhe ， jiào nǐ men de xǐ lè kě yǐ mǎn zú 。」

Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.

「这些事，我是用比喻对你们说的；时候将到，我不再用比喻对你们说，乃要将父明明地告诉你们。

「 zhè xiē shì ， wǒ shì yòng bǐ yù duì nǐ men shuō de ； shí hòu jiāng dào ， wǒ bú zài yòng bǐ yù duì nǐ men shuō ， nǎi yào jiāng fù míng míng dì gào sù nǐ men 。

“I have spoken these things to you in figures of speech. But the time is coming when I will no more speak to you in figures of speech, but will tell you plainly about the Father.

到那日，你们要奉我的名祈求；我并不对你们说，我要为你们求父。

dào nà rì ， nǐ men yào fèng wǒ de míng qí qiú ； wǒ bìng bú duì nǐ men shuō ， wǒ yào wèi nǐ men qiú fù 。

In that day you will ask in my name; and I don’t say to you that I will pray to the Father for you,

父自己爱你们；因为你们已经爱我，又信我是从父出来的。

fù zì jǐ ài nǐ men ； yīn wèi nǐ men yǐ jīng ài wǒ ， yòu xìn wǒ shì cóng fù chū lái de 。

for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came from God.

我从父出来，到了世界；我又离开世界，往父那里去。」

wǒ cóng fù chū lái ， dào le shì jiè ； wǒ yòu lí kāi shì jiè ， wǎng fù nà lǐ qù 。」

I came from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.”

门徒说：「如今你是明说，并不用比喻了。

mén tú shuō ：「 rú jīn nǐ shì míng shuō ， bìng bú yòng bǐ yù le 。

His disciples said to him, “Behold, now you are speaking plainly, and using no figures of speech.

现在我们晓得你凡事都知道，也不用人问你，因此我们信你是从 神出来的。」

xiàn zài wǒ men xiǎo de nǐ fán shì dōu zhī dào ， yě bú yòng rén wèn nǐ ， yīn cǐ wǒ men xìn nǐ shì cóng shén chū lái de 。」

Now we know that you know all things, and don’t need for anyone to question you. By this we believe that you came from God.”

耶稣说：「现在你们信吗？

yē sū shuō ：「 xiàn zài nǐ men xìn ma ？

Jesus answered them, “Do you now believe?

看哪，时候将到，且是已经到了，你们要分散，各归自己的地方去，留下我独自一人；其实我不是独自一人，因为有父与我同在。

kàn nǎ ， shí hòu jiāng dào ， qiě shì yǐ jīng dào le ， nǐ men yào fēn sàn ， gè guī zì jǐ de dì fāng qù ， liú xià wǒ dú zì yì rén ； qí shí wǒ bú shì dú zì yì rén ， yīn wèi yǒu fù yǔ wǒ tóng zài 。

Behold, the time is coming, yes, and has now come, that you will be scattered, everyone to his own place, and you will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

我将这些事告诉你们，是要叫你们在我里面有平安。在世上，你们有苦难；但你们可以放心，我已经胜了世界。」

wǒ jiāng zhè xiē shì gào sù nǐ men ， shì yào jiào nǐ men zài wǒ lǐ miàn yǒu píng ān 。 zài shì shàng ， nǐ men yǒu kǔ nàn ； dàn nǐ men kě yǐ fàng xīn ， wǒ yǐ jīng shèng le shì jiè 。」

I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.”
