哀哉！哀哉！这大城啊， 素常穿着细麻、 紫色、朱红色的衣服， 又用金子、宝石，和珍珠为妆饰。
āi zāi ！ āi zāi ！ zhè dà chéng a ， sù cháng chuān zhe xì má 、 zǐ sè 、 zhū hóng sè de yī fu ， yòu yòng jīn zi 、 bǎo shí ， hé zhēn zhū wéi zhuāng shì 。
saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, she who was dressed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls!
