Bible Verses About Healing

From physical sickness to a broken heart, the Bible speaks often of God as healer. These verses are prayed over hospital beds and grieving hearts alike.

1. Jeremiah 17:14

   Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed. Save me, and I will be saved; for you are my praise.

   耶和华啊，求你医治我，我便痊愈， 拯救我，我便得救； 因你是我所赞美的。

   yē hé huá a ， qiú nǐ yī zhì wǒ ， wǒ biàn quán yù ， zhěng jiù wǒ ， wǒ biàn dé jiù ； yīn nǐ shì wǒ suǒ zàn měi de 。

2. Psalms 147:3

   He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.

   他医好伤心的人， 裹好他们的伤处。

   tā yī hǎo shāng xīn de rén ， guǒ hǎo tā men de shāng chù 。

3. Isaiah 53:5

   But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.

   哪知他为我们的过犯受害， 为我们的罪孽压伤。 因他受的刑罚，我们得平安； 因他受的鞭伤，我们得医治。

   nǎ zhī tā wèi wǒ men de guò fàn shòu hài ， wèi wǒ men de zuì niè yā shāng 。 yīn tā shòu de xíng fá ， wǒ men dé píng ān ； yīn tā shòu de biān shāng ， wǒ men dé yī zhì 。

4. James 5:15

   and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

   出于信心的祈祷要救那病人，主必叫他起来；他若犯了罪，也必蒙赦免。

   chū yú xìn xīn de qí dǎo yào jiù nà bìng rén ， zhǔ bì jiào tā qǐ lái ； tā ruò fàn le zuì ， yě bì méng shè miǎn 。

5. Exodus 15:26

   He said, “If you will diligently listen to the LORD your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you.”

   又说：「你若留意听耶和华—你 神的话，又行我眼中看为正的事，留心听我的诫命，守我一切的律例，我就不将所加与埃及人的疾病加在你身上，因为我—耶和华是医治你的。」

   yòu shuō ：「 nǐ ruò liú yì tīng yē hé huá — nǐ shén de huà ， yòu xíng wǒ yǎn zhōng kàn wèi zhèng de shì ， liú xīn tīng wǒ de jiè mìng ， shǒu wǒ yí qiè de lǜ lì ， wǒ jiù bù jiāng suǒ jiā yǔ āi jí rén de jí bìng jiā zài nǐ shēn shàng ， yīn wèi wǒ — yē hé huá shì yī zhì nǐ de 。」

6. 1 Peter 2:24

   He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds.

   他被挂在木头上，亲身担当了我们的罪，使我们既然在罪上死，就得以在义上活。因他受的鞭伤，你们便得了医治。

   tā bèi guà zài mù tou shàng ， qīn shēn dān dāng le wǒ men de zuì ， shǐ wǒ men jì rán zài zuì shàng sǐ ， jiù dé yǐ zài yì shàng huó 。 yīn tā shòu de biān shāng ， nǐ men biàn dé le yī zhì 。

7. Psalms 103:2

   Praise the LORD, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits,

   我的心哪，你要称颂耶和华！ 不可忘记他的一切恩惠！

   wǒ de xīn nǎ ， nǐ yào chēng sòng yē hé huá ！ bù kě wàng jì tā de yí qiè ēn huì ！

8. Matthew 11:28

   “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.

   凡劳苦担重担的人可以到我这里来，我就使你们得安息。

   fán láo kǔ dān zhòng dàn de rén kě yǐ dào wǒ zhè lǐ lái ， wǒ jiù shǐ nǐ men dé ān xī 。
