这是素来欢乐安然居住的城， 心里说：惟有我，除我以外再没有别的； 现在何竟荒凉成为野兽躺卧之处！ 凡经过的人都必摇手嗤笑她。
zhè shì sù lái huān lè ān rán jū zhù de chéng ， xīn li shuō ： wéi yǒu wǒ ， chú wǒ yǐ wài zài méi yǒu bié de ； xiàn zài hé jìng huāng liáng chéng wéi yě shòu tǎng wò zhī chù ！ fán jīng guò de rén dōu bì yáo shǒu chī xiào tā 。
This is the joyous city that lived carelessly, that said in her heart, “I am, and there is no one besides me.” How she has become a desolation, a place for animals to lie down in! Everyone who passes by her will hiss and shake their fists.
