「但我们的列祖行事狂傲，硬着颈项不听从你的诫命；
「 dàn wǒ men de liè zǔ xíng shì kuáng ào ， yìng zhe jǐng xiàng bù tīng cóng nǐ de jiè mìng ；
Mais nos pères se livrèrent à l’orgueil et raidirent leur cou. Ils n’écoutèrent point tes commandements,
