因为古时仰赖 神的圣洁妇人正是以此为妆饰，顺服自己的丈夫，

yīn wèi gǔ shí yǎng lài shén de shèng jié fù rén zhèng shì yǐ cǐ wéi zhuāng shì ， shùn fú zì jǐ de zhàng fu ，

For this is how in the past the holy women who hoped in God also adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands.
