大卫对扫罗说完了话，约拿单的心与大卫的心深相契合。约拿单爱大卫，如同爱自己的性命。

dà wèi duì sǎo luó shuō wán le huà ， yuē ná dān de xīn yǔ dà wèi de xīn shēn xiāng qì hé 。 yuē ná dān ài dà wèi ， rú tóng ài zì jǐ de xìng mìng 。

When he had finished speaking to Saul, the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.

那日扫罗留住大卫，不容他再回父家。

nà rì sǎo luó liú zhù dà wèi ， bù róng tā zài huí fù jiā 。

Saul took him that day, and wouldn’t let him go home to his father’s house any more.

约拿单爱大卫如同爱自己的性命，就与他结盟。

yuē ná dān ài dà wèi rú tóng ài zì jǐ de xìng mìng ， jiù yǔ tā jié méng 。

Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.

约拿单从身上脱下外袍，给了大卫，又将战衣、刀、弓、腰带都给了他。

yuē ná dān cóng shēn shàng tuō xià wài páo ， gěi le dà wèi ， yòu jiāng zhàn yī 、 dāo 、 gōng 、 yāo dài dōu gěi le tā 。

Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was on him and gave it to David with his clothing, even including his sword, his bow, and his sash.

扫罗无论差遣大卫往何处去，他都做事精明。扫罗就立他作战士长，众百姓和扫罗的臣仆无不喜悦。

sǎo luó wú lùn chāi qiǎn dà wèi wǎng hé chù qù ， tā dōu zuò shì jīng míng 。 sǎo luó jiù lì tā zuò zhàn shì cháng ， zhòng bǎi xìng hé sǎo luó de chén pú wú bù xǐ yuè 。

David went out wherever Saul sent him, and behaved himself wisely; and Saul set him over the men of war. It was good in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Saul’s servants.

大卫打死了那非利士人，同众人回来的时候，妇女们从以色列各城里出来，欢欢喜喜，打鼓击磬，歌唱跳舞，迎接扫罗王。

dà wèi dǎ sǐ le nà fēi lì shì rén ， tóng zhòng rén huí lái de shí hòu ， fù nǚ men cóng yǐ sè liè gè chéng lǐ chū lái ， huān huān xǐ xǐ ， dǎ gǔ jī qìng ， gē chàng tiào wǔ ， yíng jiē sǎo luó wáng 。

As they came, when David returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, the women came out of all the cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet King Saul with tambourines, with joy, and with instruments of music.

众妇女舞蹈唱和，说：「扫罗杀死千千，大卫杀死万万。」

zhòng fù nǚ wǔ dǎo chàng hè ， shuō ：「 sǎo luó shā sǐ qiān qiān ， dà wèi shā sǐ wàn wàn 。」

The women sang to one another as they played, and said, “Saul has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands.”

扫罗甚发怒，不喜悦这话，就说：「将万万归大卫，千千归我，只剩下王位没有给他了。」

sǎo luó shèn fā nù ， bù xǐ yuè zhè huà ， jiù shuō ：「 jiāng wàn wàn guī dà wèi ， qiān qiān guī wǒ ， zhī shèng xià wáng wèi méi yǒu gěi tā le 。」

Saul was very angry, and this saying displeased him. He said, “They have credited David with ten thousands, and they have only credited me with thousands. What can he have more but the kingdom?”

从这日起，扫罗就怒视大卫。

cóng zhè rì qǐ ， sǎo luó jiù nù shì dà wèi 。

Saul watched David from that day and forward.

次日，从 神那里来的恶魔大大降在扫罗身上，他就在家中胡言乱语。大卫照常弹琴，扫罗手里拿着枪。

cì rì ， cóng shén nà lǐ lái de è mó dà dà jiàng zài sǎo luó shēn shàng ， tā jiù zài jiā zhōng hú yán luàn yǔ 。 dà wèi zhào cháng tán qín ， sǎo luó shǒu lǐ ná zhe qiāng 。

On the next day, an evil spirit from God came mightily on Saul, and he prophesied in the middle of the house. David played with his hand, as he did day by day. Saul had his spear in his hand;

扫罗把枪一抡，心里说，我要将大卫刺透，钉在墙上。大卫躲避他两次。

sǎo luó bǎ qiāng yì lūn ， xīn lǐ shuō ， wǒ yào jiāng dà wèi cì tòu ， dīng zài qiáng shàng 。 dà wèi duǒ bì tā liǎng cì 。

and Saul threw the spear, for he said, “I will pin David to the wall!” David escaped from his presence twice.

扫罗惧怕大卫；因为耶和华离开自己，与大卫同在。

sǎo luó jù pà dà wèi ； yīn wèi yē hé huá lí kāi zì jǐ ， yǔ dà wèi tóng zài 。

Saul was afraid of David, because the LORD was with him, and had departed from Saul.

所以扫罗使大卫离开自己，立他为千夫长，他就领兵出入。

suǒ yǐ sǎo luó shǐ dà wèi lí kāi zì jǐ ， lì tā wèi qiān fū cháng ， tā jiù lǐng bīng chū rù 。

Therefore Saul removed him from his presence, and made him his captain over a thousand; and he went out and came in before the people.

大卫做事无不精明，耶和华也与他同在。

dà wèi zuò shì wú bù jīng míng ， yē hé huá yě yǔ tā tóng zài 。

David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the LORD was with him.

扫罗见大卫做事精明，就甚怕他。

sǎo luó jiàn dà wèi zuò shì jīng míng ， jiù shèn pà tā 。

When Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he stood in awe of him.

但以色列和犹大众人都爱大卫，因为他领他们出入。

dàn yǐ sè liè hé yóu dà zhòng rén dōu ài dà wèi ， yīn wèi tā lǐng tā men chū rù 。

But all Israel and Judah loved David; for he went out and came in before them.

扫罗对大卫说：「我将大女儿米拉给你为妻，只要你为我奋勇，为耶和华争战。」扫罗心里说：「我不好亲手害他，要借非利士人的手害他。」

sǎo luó duì dà wèi shuō ：「 wǒ jiāng dà nǚ ér mǐ lā gěi nǐ wèi qī ， zhǐ yào nǐ wèi wǒ fèn yǒng ， wèi yē hé huá zhēng zhàn 。」 sǎo luó xīn lǐ shuō ：「 wǒ bù hǎo qīn shǒu hài tā ， yào jiè fēi lì shì rén de shǒu hài tā 。」

Saul said to David, “Behold, my elder daughter Merab. I will give her to you as wife. Only be valiant for me, and fight the LORD’s battles.” For Saul said, “Don’t let my hand be on him, but let the hand of the Philistines be on him.”

大卫对扫罗说：「我是谁，我是什么出身，我父家在以色列中是何等的家，岂敢作王的女婿呢？」

dà wèi duì sǎo luó shuō ：「 wǒ shì shuí ， wǒ shì shén me chū shēn ， wǒ fù jiā zài yǐ sè liè zhōng shì hé děng de jiā ， qǐ gǎn zuò wáng de nǚ xu ne ？」

David said to Saul, “Who am I, and what is my life, or my father’s family in Israel, that I should be son-in-law to the king?”

扫罗的女儿米拉到了当给大卫的时候，扫罗却给了米何拉人亚得列为妻。

sǎo luó de nǚ ér mǐ lā dào le dāng gěi dà wèi de shí hòu ， sǎo luó què gěi le mǐ hé lā rén yà dé liè wèi qī 。

But at the time when Merab, Saul’s daughter, should have been given to David, she was given to Adriel the Meholathite as wife.

扫罗的次女米甲爱大卫。有人告诉扫罗，扫罗就喜悦。

sǎo luó de cì nǚ mǐ jiǎ ài dà wèi 。 yǒu rén gào sù sǎo luó ， sǎo luó jiù xǐ yuè 。

Michal, Saul’s daughter, loved David; and they told Saul, and the thing pleased him.

扫罗心里说：「我将这女儿给大卫，作他的网罗，好借非利士人的手害他。」所以扫罗对大卫说：「你今日可以第二次作我的女婿。」

sǎo luó xīn lǐ shuō ：「 wǒ jiāng zhè nǚ ér gěi dà wèi ， zuò tā de wǎng luó ， hǎo jiè fēi lì shì rén de shǒu hài tā 。」 suǒ yǐ sǎo luó duì dà wèi shuō ：「 nǐ jīn rì kě yǐ dì èr cì zuò wǒ de nǚ xu 。」

Saul said, I will give her to him, that she may be a snare to him and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him. Therefore Saul said to David a second time, “You shall today be my son-in-law.”

扫罗吩咐臣仆说：「你们暗中对大卫说：『王喜悦你，王的臣仆也都喜爱你，所以你当作王的女婿。』」

sǎo luó fēn fù chén pú shuō ：「 nǐ men àn zhōng duì dà wèi shuō ：『 wáng xǐ yuè nǐ ， wáng de chén pú yě dōu xǐ ài nǐ ， suǒ yǐ nǐ dàng zuò wáng de nǚ xu 。』」

Saul commanded his servants, “Talk with David secretly, and say, ‘Behold, the king has delight in you, and all his servants love you. Now therefore be the king’s son-in-law.’”

扫罗的臣仆就照这话说给大卫听。大卫说：「你们以为作王的女婿是一件小事吗？我是贫穷卑微的人。」

sǎo luó de chén pú jiù zhào zhè huà shuō gěi dà wèi tīng 。 dà wèi shuō ：「 nǐ men yǐ wéi zuò wáng de nǚ xu shì yí jiàn xiǎo shì ma ？ wǒ shì pín qióng bēi wēi de rén 。」

Saul’s servants spoke those words in the ears of David. David said, “Does it seem to you a light thing to be the king’s son-in-law, since I am a poor man and little known?”

扫罗的臣仆回奏说，大卫所说的如此如此。

sǎo luó de chén pú huí zòu shuō ， dà wèi suǒ shuō de rú cǐ rú cǐ 。

The servants of Saul told him, saying, “David spoke like this.”

扫罗说：「你们要对大卫这样说：『王不要什么聘礼，只要一百非利士人的阳皮，好在王的仇敌身上报仇。』」扫罗的意思要使大卫丧在非利士人的手里。

sǎo luó shuō ：「 nǐ men yào duì dà wèi zhè yàng shuō ：『 wáng bú yào shén me pìn lǐ ， zhǐ yào yì bǎi fēi lì shì rén de yáng pí ， hǎo zài wáng de chóu dí shēn shàng bào chóu 。』」 sǎo luó de yì sī yào shǐ dà wèi sàng zài fēi lì shì rén de shǒu lǐ 。

Saul said, “Tell David, ‘The king desires no dowry except one hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the king’s enemies.’” Now Saul thought he would make David fall by the hand of the Philistines.

扫罗的臣仆将这话告诉大卫，大卫就欢喜作王的女婿。日期还没有到，

sǎo luó de chén pú jiāng zhè huà gào sù dà wèi ， dà wèi jiù huān xǐ zuò wáng de nǚ xu 。 rì qī hái méi yǒu dào ，

When his servants told David these words, it pleased David well to be the king’s son-in-law. Before the deadline,

大卫和跟随他的人起身前往，杀了二百非利士人，将阳皮满数交给王，为要作王的女婿。于是扫罗将女儿米甲给大卫为妻。

dà wèi hé gēn suí tā de rén qǐ shēn qián wǎng ， shā le èr bǎi fēi lì shì rén ， jiāng yáng pí mǎn shù jiāo gěi wáng ， wèi yào zuò wáng de nǚ xu 。 yú shì sǎo luó jiāng nǚ ér mǐ jiǎ gěi dà wèi wèi qī 。

David arose and went, he and his men, and killed two hundred men of the Philistines. Then David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full number to the king, that he might be the king’s son-in-law. Then Saul gave him Michal his daughter as wife.

扫罗见耶和华与大卫同在，又知道女儿米甲爱大卫，

sǎo luó jiàn yē hé huá yǔ dà wèi tóng zài ， yòu zhī dào nǚ ér mǐ jiǎ ài dà wèi ，

Saul saw and knew that the LORD was with David; and Michal, Saul’s daughter, loved him.

就更怕大卫，常作大卫的仇敌。

jiù gèng pà dà wèi ， cháng zuò dà wèi de chóu dí 。

Saul was even more afraid of David; and Saul was David’s enemy continually.

每逢非利士军长出来打仗，大卫比扫罗的臣仆做事精明，因此他的名被人尊重。

měi féng fēi lì shì jūn zhǎng chū lái dǎ zhàng ， dà wèi bǐ sǎo luó de chén pú zuò shì jīng míng ， yīn cǐ tā de míng bèi rén zūn zhòng 。

Then the princes of the Philistines went out; and as often as they went out, David behaved himself more wisely than all the servants of Saul, so that his name was highly esteemed.
