帖撒罗尼迦前书 5

弟兄们，论到时候、日期，不用写信给你们，

dì xiong men ， lùn dào shí hòu 、 rì qī ， bú yòng xiě xìn gěi nǐ men ，

But concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that anything be written to you.

因为你们自己明明晓得，主的日子来到，好像夜间的贼一样。

yīn wèi nǐ men zì jǐ míng míng xiǎo de ， zhǔ de rì zi lái dào ， hǎo xiàng yè jiān de zéi yí yàng 。

For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night.

人正说「平安稳妥」的时候，灾祸忽然临到他们，如同产难临到怀胎的妇人一样，他们绝不能逃脱。

rén zhèng shuō 「 píng ān wěn tuǒ 」 de shí hòu ， zāi huò hū rán lín dào tā men ， rú tóng chǎn nán lín dào huái tāi de fù rén yí yàng ， tā men jué bù néng táo tuō 。

For when they are saying, “Peace and safety,” then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman. Then they will in no way escape.

弟兄们，你们却不在黑暗里，叫那日子临到你们像贼一样。

dì xiōng men ， nǐ men què bú zài hēi àn lǐ ， jiào nà rì zi lín dào nǐ men xiàng zéi yí yàng 。

But you, brothers, aren’t in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief.

你们都是光明之子，都是白昼之子。我们不是属黑夜的，也不是属幽暗的。

nǐ men dōu shì guāng míng zhī zǐ ， dōu shì bái zhòu zhī zǐ 。 wǒ men bú shì shǔ hēi yè de ， yě bú shì shǔ yōu àn de 。

You are all children of light and children of the day. We don’t belong to the night, nor to darkness,

所以，我们不要睡觉像别人一样，总要警醒谨守。

suǒ yǐ ， wǒ men bú yào shuì jiào xiàng bié rén yí yàng ， zǒng yào jǐng xǐng jǐn shǒu 。

so then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober.

因为睡了的人是在夜间睡，醉了的人是在夜间醉。

yīn wèi shuì le de rén shì zài yè jiān shuì ， zuì le de rén shì zài yè jiān zuì 。

For those who sleep, sleep in the night; and those who are drunk are drunk in the night.

但我们既然属乎白昼，就应当谨守，把信和爱当作护心镜遮胸，把得救的盼望当作头盔戴上。

dàn wǒ men jì rán shǔ hū bái zhòu ， jiù yīng dāng jǐn shǒu ， bǎ xìn hé ài dàng zuò hù xīn jìng zhē xiōng ， bǎ dé jiù de pàn wàng dàng zuò tóu kuī dài shàng 。

But since we belong to the day, let’s be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.

因为 神不是预定我们受刑，乃是预定我们借着我们主耶稣基督得救。

yīn wèi shén bú shì yù dìng wǒ men shòu xíng ， nǎi shì yù dìng wǒ men jiè zhe wǒ men zhǔ yē sū jī dū dé jiù 。

For God didn’t appoint us to wrath, but to the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

他替我们死，叫我们无论醒着，睡着，都与他同活。

tā tì wǒ men sǐ ， jiào wǒ men wú lùn xǐng zhe ， shuì zháo ， dōu yǔ tā tóng huó 。

who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

所以，你们该彼此劝慰，互相建立，正如你们素常所行的。

suǒ yǐ ， nǐ men gāi bǐ cǐ quàn wèi ， hù xiāng jiàn lì ， zhèng rú nǐ men sù cháng suǒ xíng de 。

Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do.

弟兄们，我们劝你们敬重那在你们中间劳苦的人，就是在主里面治理你们、劝戒你们的；

dì xiong men ， wǒ men quàn nǐ men jìng zhòng nà zài nǐ men zhōng jiān láo kǔ de rén ， jiù shì zài zhǔ lǐ miàn zhì lǐ nǐ men 、 quàn jiè nǐ men de ；

But we beg you, brothers, to know those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you,

又因他们所做的工，用爱心格外尊重他们。你们也要彼此和睦。

yòu yīn tā men suǒ zuò de gōng ， yòng ài xīn gé wài zūn zhòng tā men 。 nǐ men yě yào bǐ cǐ hé mù 。

and to respect and honor them in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves.

我们又劝弟兄们，要警戒不守规矩的人，勉励灰心的人，扶助软弱的人，也要向众人忍耐。

wǒ men yòu quàn dì xiong men ， yào jǐng jiè bù shǒu guī jǔ de rén ， miǎn lì huī xīn de rén ， fú zhù ruǎn ruò de rén ， yě yào xiàng zhòng rén rěn nài 。

We exhort you, brothers: Admonish the disorderly; encourage the faint-hearted; support the weak; be patient toward all.

你们要谨慎，无论是谁都不可以恶报恶；或是彼此相待，或是待众人，常要追求良善。

nǐ men yào jǐn shèn ， wú lùn shì shuí dōu bù kě yǐ è bào è ； huò shì bǐ cǐ xiāng dài ， huò shì dài zhòng rén ， cháng yào zhuī qiú liáng shàn 。

See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good for one another and for all.

要常常喜乐，

yào cháng cháng xǐ lè ，

Always rejoice.

不住地祷告，

bú zhù dì dǎo gào ，

Pray without ceasing.

凡事谢恩；因为这是 神在基督耶稣里向你们所定的旨意。

fán shì xiè ēn ； yīn wèi zhè shì shén zài jī dū yē sū lǐ xiàng nǐ men suǒ dìng de zhǐ yì 。

In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.

不要消灭圣灵的感动；

bú yào xiāo miè shèng líng de gǎn dòng ；

Don’t quench the Spirit.

不要藐视先知的讲论。

bú yào miǎo shì xiān zhī de jiǎng lùn 。

Don’t despise prophecies.

但要凡事察验；善美的要持守，

dàn yào fán shì chá yàn ； shàn měi de yào chí shǒu ，

Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good.

各样的恶事要禁戒不做。

gè yàng de è shì yào jìn jiè bú zuò 。

Abstain from every form of evil.

愿赐平安的 神亲自使你们全然成圣！又愿你们的灵与魂与身子得蒙保守，在我们主耶稣基督降临的时候，完全无可指摘！

yuàn cì píng ān de shén qīn zì shǐ nǐ men quán rán chéng shèng ！ yòu yuàn nǐ men de líng yǔ hún yǔ shēn zi dé méng bǎo shǒu ， zài wǒ men zhǔ yē sū jī dū jiàng lín de shí hòu ， wán quán wú kě zhǐ zhāi ！

May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

那召你们的本是信实的，他必成就这事。

nà zhào nǐ men de běn shì xìn shí de ， tā bì chéng jiù zhè shì 。

He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it.

请弟兄们为我们祷告。

qǐng dì xiong men wèi wǒ men dǎo gào 。

Brothers, pray for us.

与众弟兄亲嘴问安，务要圣洁。

yǔ zhòng dì xiong qīn zuǐ wèn ān ， wù yào shèng jié 。

Greet all the brothers with a holy kiss.

我指着主嘱咐你们，要把这信念给众弟兄听。

wǒ zhǐ zhe zhǔ zhǔ fù nǐ men ， yào bǎ zhè xìn niàn gěi zhòng dì xiong tīng 。

I solemnly command you by the Lord that this letter be read to all the holy brothers.

愿我主耶稣基督的恩常与你们同在！

yuàn wǒ zhǔ yē sū jī dū de ēn cháng yǔ nǐ men tóng zài ！

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
