罗波安来到耶路撒冷，招聚犹大家和便雅悯家，共十八万人，都是挑选的战士，要与以色列人争战，好将国夺回再归自己。

luó bō ān lái dào yē lù sā lěng ， zhāo jù yóu dà jiā hé biàn yǎ mǐn jiā ， gòng shí bā wàn rén ， dōu shì tiāo xuǎn de zhàn shì ， yào yǔ yǐ sè liè rén zhēng zhàn ， hǎo jiāng guó duó huí zài guī zì jǐ 。

When Rehoboam had come to Jerusalem, he assembled the house of Judah and Benjamin, one hundred eighty thousand chosen men who were warriors, to fight against Israel, to bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam.

但耶和华的话临到神人示玛雅说：

dàn yē hé huá de huà lín dào shén rén shì mǎ yǎ shuō ：

But the LORD’s word came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying,

「你去告诉所罗门的儿子犹大王罗波安和住犹大、便雅悯的以色列众人说，

「 nǐ qù gào sù suǒ luó mén de ér zi yóu dà wáng luó bō ān hé zhù yóu dà 、 biàn yǎ mǐn de yǐ sè liè zhòng rén shuō ，

“Speak to Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, saying,

耶和华如此说：『你们不可上去与你们的弟兄争战，各归各家去吧！因为这事出于我。』」众人就听从耶和华的话归回，不去与耶罗波安争战。

yē hé huá rú cǐ shuō ：『 nǐ men bù kě shàng qù yǔ nǐ men de dì xiong zhēng zhàn ， gè guī gè jiā qù ba ！ yīn wèi zhè shì chū yú wǒ 。』」 zhòng rén jiù tīng cóng yē hé huá de huà guī huí ， bú qù yǔ yē luó bō ān zhēng zhàn 。

‘The LORD says, “You shall not go up, nor fight against your brothers! Every man return to his house; for this thing is of me.”’” So they listened to the LORD’s words, and returned from going against Jeroboam.

罗波安住在耶路撒冷，在犹大地修筑城邑，

luó bō ān zhù zài yē lù sā lěng ， zài yóu dà dì xiū zhù chéng yì ，

Rehoboam lived in Jerusalem, and built cities for defense in Judah.

为保障修筑伯利恒、以坦、提哥亚、

wèi bǎo zhàng xiū zhù bó lì héng 、 yǐ tǎn 、 tí gē yà 、

He built Bethlehem, Etam, Tekoa,

伯·夙、梭哥、亚杜兰、

bó · sù 、 suō gē 、 yà dù lán 、

Beth Zur, Soco, Adullam,

迦特、玛利沙、西弗、

jiā tè 、 mǎ lì shā 、 xī fú 、

Gath, Mareshah, Ziph,

亚多莱音、拉吉、亚西加、

yà duō lái yīn 、 lā jí 、 yà xī jiā 、

Adoraim, Lachish, Azekah,

琐拉、亚雅 、希伯 。这都是犹大和便雅悯的坚固城。

suǒ lā 、 yà yǎ 、 xī bó 。 zhè dōu shì yóu dà hé biàn yǎ mǐn de jiān gù chéng 。

Zorah, Aijalon, and Hebron, which are fortified cities in Judah and in Benjamin.

罗波安又坚固各处的保障，在其中安置军长，又预备下粮食、油、酒。

luó bō ān yòu jiān gù gè chù de bǎo zhàng ， zài qí zhōng ān zhì jūn zhǎng ， yòu yù bèi xià liáng shí 、 yóu 、 jiǔ 。

He fortified the strongholds and put captains in them with stores of food, oil and wine.

他在各城里预备盾牌和枪，且使城极其坚固。犹大和便雅悯都归了他。

tā zài gè chéng lǐ yù bèi dùn pái hé qiāng ， qiě shǐ chéng jí qí jiān gù 。 yóu dà hé biàn yǎ mǐn dōu guī le tā 。

He put shields and spears in every city, and made them exceedingly strong. Judah and Benjamin belonged to him.

以色列全地的祭司和利未人都从四方来归罗波安。

yǐ sè liè quán dì de jì sī hé lì wèi rén dōu cóng sì fāng lái guī luó bō ān 。

The priests and the Levites who were in all Israel stood with him out of all their territory.

利未人撇下他们的郊野和产业，来到犹大与耶路撒 冷，是因耶罗波安和他的儿子拒绝他们，不许他们供祭司职分事奉耶和华。

lì wèi rén piě xià tā men de jiāo yě hé chǎn yè ， lái dào yóu dà yǔ yē lù sā lěng ， shì yīn yē luó bō ān hé tā de ér zi jù jué tā men ， bù xǔ tā men gòng jì sī zhí fēn shì fèng yē hé huá 。

For the Levites left their pasture lands and their possessions, and came to Judah and Jerusalem; for Jeroboam and his sons cast them off, that they should not execute the priest’s office to the LORD.

耶罗波安为邱坛、为鬼魔 、为自己所铸造的牛犊设立祭司。

yē luó bō ān wèi qiū tán 、 wèi guǐ mó 、 wèi zì jǐ suǒ zhù zào de niú dú shè lì jì sī 。

He himself appointed priests for the high places, for the male goat and calf idols which he had made.

以色列各支派中，凡立定心意寻求耶和华—以色列 神的，都随从利未人，来到耶路撒冷祭祀耶和华—他们列祖的 神。

yǐ sè liè gè zhī pài zhōng ， fán lì dìng xīn yì xún qiú yē hé huá — yǐ sè liè shén de ， dōu suí cóng lì wèi rén ， lái dào yē lù sā lěng jì sì yē hé huá — tā men liè zǔ de shén 。

After them, out of all the tribes of Israel, those who set their hearts to seek the LORD, the God of Israel, came to Jerusalem to sacrifice to the LORD, the God of their fathers.

这样，就坚固犹大国，使所罗门的儿子罗波安强盛三年，因为他们三年遵行大卫和所罗门的道。

zhè yàng ， jiù jiān gù yóu dà guó ， shǐ suǒ luó mén de ér zi luó bō ān qiáng shèng sān nián ， yīn wèi tā men sān nián zūn xíng dà wèi hé suǒ luó mén de dào 。

So they strengthened the kingdom of Judah and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong for three years, for they walked three years in the way of David and Solomon.

罗波安娶大卫儿子耶利摩的女儿玛哈拉为妻，又娶耶西儿子以利押的女儿亚比孩为妻。

luó bō ān qǔ dà wèi ér zi yē lì mó de nǚ ér mǎ hā lā wèi qī ， yòu qǔ yē xī ér zi yǐ lì yā de nǚ ér yà bǐ hái wèi qī 。

Rehoboam took a wife for himself, Mahalath the daughter of Jerimoth the son of David and of Abihail the daughter of Eliab the son of Jesse.

从她生了几个儿子，就是耶乌施、示玛利雅、撒罕。

cóng tā shēng le jǐ gè ér zi ， jiù shì yē wū shī 、 shì mǎ lì yǎ 、 sā hǎn 。

She bore him sons: Jeush, Shemariah, and Zaham.

后来又娶押沙龙的女儿玛迦 ，从她生了亚比雅、亚太、细撒、示罗密。

hòu lái yòu qǔ yā shā lóng de nǚ ér mǎ jiā ， cóng tā shēng le yà bǐ yǎ 、 yà tài 、 xì sā 、 shì luó mì 。

After her, he took Maacah the granddaughter of Absalom; and she bore him Abijah, Attai, Ziza, and Shelomith.

罗波安娶十八个妻，立六十个妾，生二十八个儿子，六十个女儿；他却爱押沙龙的女儿玛迦，比爱别的妻妾更甚。

luó bō ān qǔ shí bā gè qī ， lì liù shí gè qiè ， shēng èr shí bā gè ér zi ， liù shí gè nǚ ér ； tā què ài yā shā lóng de nǚ ér mǎ jiā ， bǐ ài bié de qī qiè gèng shèn 。

Rehoboam loved Maacah the granddaughter of Absalom above all his wives and his concubines; for he took eighteen wives and sixty concubines, and became the father of twenty-eight sons and sixty daughters.

罗波安立玛迦的儿子亚比雅作太子，在他弟兄中为首，因为想要立他接续作王。

luó bō ān lì mǎ jiā de ér zǐ yà bǐ yǎ zuò tài zǐ ， zài tā dì xiong zhōng wéi shǒu ， yīn wèi xiǎng yào lì tā jiē xù zuò wáng 。

Rehoboam appointed Abijah the son of Maacah to be chief, the prince among his brothers, for he intended to make him king.

罗波安办事精明，使他众子分散在犹大和便雅悯全地各坚固城里，又赐他们许多粮食，为他们多寻妻子。

luó bō ān bàn shì jīng míng ， shǐ tā zhòng zǐ fēn sàn zài yóu dà hé biàn yǎ mǐn quán dì gè jiān gù chéng lǐ ， yòu cì tā men xǔ duō liáng shí ， wèi tā men duō xún qī zǐ 。

He dealt wisely, and dispersed some of his sons throughout all the lands of Judah and Benjamin, to every fortified city. He gave them food in abundance; and he sought many wives for them.
