犹大众民立亚玛谢的儿子乌西雅 接续他父作王，那时他年十六岁。（

yóu dà zhòng mín lì yà mǎ xiè de ér zi wū xī yǎ jiē xù tā fù zuò wáng ， nà shí tā nián shí liù suì 。（

All the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the place of his father Amaziah.

亚玛谢与他列祖同睡之后，乌西雅收回以禄仍归犹大，又重新修理。）

yà mǎ xiè yǔ tā liè zǔ tóng shuì zhī hòu ， wū xī yǎ shōu huí yǐ lù réng guī yóu dà ， yòu chóng xīn xiū lǐ 。）

He built Eloth and restored it to Judah. After that the king slept with his fathers.

乌西雅登基的时候年十六岁，在耶路撒冷作王五十二年。他母亲名叫耶可利雅，是耶路撒冷人。

wū xī yǎ dēng jī de shí hòu nián shí liù suì ， zài yē lù sā lěng zuò wáng wǔ shí èr nián 。 tā mǔ qīn míng jiào yē kě lì yǎ ， shì yē lù sā lěng rén 。

Uzziah was sixteen years old when he began to reign; and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jechiliah, of Jerusalem.

乌西雅行耶和华眼中看为正的事，效法他父亚玛谢一切所行的；

wū xī yǎ xíng yē hé huá yǎn zhōng kàn wèi zhèng de shì ， xiào fǎ tā fù yà mǎ xiè yí qiè suǒ xíng de ；

He did that which was right in the LORD’s eyes, according to all that his father Amaziah had done.

通晓 神默示，撒迦利亚在世的时候，乌西雅定意寻求 神；他寻求耶和华， 神就使他亨通。

tōng xiǎo shén mò shì ， sā jiā lì yà zài shì de shí hòu ， wū xī yǎ dìng yì xún qiú shén ； tā xún qiú yē hé huá ， shén jiù shǐ tā hēng tōng 。

He set himself to seek God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the vision of God; and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him prosper.

他出去攻击非利士人，拆毁了迦特城、雅比尼城，和亚实突城；在非利士人中，在亚实突境内，又建筑了些城。

tā chū qù gōng jī fēi lì shì rén ， chāi huǐ le jiā tè chéng 、 yǎ bǐ ní chéng ， hé yà shí tū chéng ； zài fēi lì shì rén zhōng ， zài yà shí tū jìng nèi ， yòu jiàn zhù le xiē chéng 。

He went out and fought against the Philistines, and broke down the wall of Gath, the wall of Jabneh, and the wall of Ashdod; and he built cities in the country of Ashdod, and among the Philistines.

神帮助他攻击非利士人和住在姑珥·巴力的阿拉伯人，并米乌尼人。

shén bāng zhù tā gōng jī fēi lì shì rén hé zhù zài gū ěr · bā lì de ā lā bó rén ， bìng mǐ wū ní rén 。

God helped him against the Philistines, and against the Arabians who lived in Gur Baal, and the Meunim.

亚扪人给乌西雅进贡。他的名声传到埃及，因他甚是强盛。

yà mén rén gěi wū xī yǎ jìn gòng 。 tā de míng shēng chuán dào āi jí ， yīn tā shèn shì qiáng shèng 。

The Ammonites gave tribute to Uzziah. His name spread abroad even to the entrance of Egypt, for he grew exceedingly strong.

乌西雅在耶路撒冷的角门和谷门，并城墙转弯之处，建筑城楼，且甚坚固；

wū xī yǎ zài yē lù sā lěng de jiǎo mén hé gǔ mén ， bìng chéng qiáng zhuǎn wān zhī chù ， jiàn zhù chéng lóu ， qiě shèn jiān gù ；

Moreover Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the corner gate, at the valley gate, and at the turning of the wall, and fortified them.

又在旷野与高原和平原，建筑望楼，挖了许多井，因他的牲畜甚多；又在山地和佳美之地，有农夫和修理葡萄园的人，因为他喜悦农事。

yòu zài kuàng yě yǔ gāo yuán hé píng yuán ， jiàn zhù wàng lóu ， wā le xǔ duō jǐng ， yīn tā de shēng chù shèn duō ； yòu zài shān dì hé jiā měi zhī dì ， yǒu nóng fū hé xiū lǐ pú táo yuán de rén ， yīn wèi tā xǐ yuè nóng shì 。

He built towers in the wilderness, and dug out many cisterns, for he had much livestock, both in the lowlands and in the plains. He had farmers and vineyard keepers in the mountains and in the fruitful fields, for he loved farming.

乌西雅又有军兵，照书记耶利和官长玛西雅所数点的，在王的一个将军哈拿尼雅手下，分队出战。

wū xī yǎ yòu yǒu jūn bīng ， zhào shū jì yē lì hé guān zhǎng mǎ xī yǎ suǒ shù diǎn de ， zài wáng de yí gè jiāng jūn hā ná ní yǎ shǒu xià ， fēn duì chū zhàn 。

Moreover Uzziah had an army of fighting men who went out to war by bands, according to the number of their reckoning made by Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah the officer, under the hand of Hananiah, one of the king’s captains.

族长、大能勇士的总数共有二千六百人，

zú zhǎng 、 dà néng yǒng shì de zǒng shù gòng yǒu èr qiān liù bǎi rén ，

The whole number of the heads of fathers’ households, even the mighty men of valor, was two thousand six hundred.

他们手下的军兵共有三十万七千五百人，都有大能，善于争战，帮助王攻击仇敌。

tā men shǒu xià de jūn bīng gòng yǒu sān shí wàn qī qiān wǔ bǎi rén ， dōu yǒu dà néng ， shàn yú zhēng zhàn ， bāng zhù wáng gōng jī chóu dí 。

Under their hand was an army, three hundred seven thousand five hundred, who made war with mighty power, to help the king against the enemy.

乌西雅为全军预备盾牌、枪、盔、甲、弓，和甩石的机弦，

wū xī yǎ wèi quán jūn yù bèi dùn pái 、 qiāng 、 kuī 、 jiǎ 、 gōng ， hé shuǎi shí de jī xián ，

Uzziah prepared for them, even for all the army, shields, spears, helmets, coats of mail, bows, and stones for slinging.

又在耶路撒冷使巧匠做机器，安在城楼和角楼上，用以射箭发石。乌西雅的名声传到远方；因为他得了非常的帮助，甚是强盛。

yòu zài yē lù sā lěng shǐ qiǎo jiàng zuò jī qì ， ān zài chéng lóu hé jiǎo lóu shàng ， yòng yǐ shè jiàn fā shí 。 wū xī yǎ de míng shēng chuán dào yuǎn fāng ； yīn wèi tā dé le fēi cháng de bāng zhù ， shèn shì qiáng shèng 。

In Jerusalem, he made devices, invented by skillful men, to be on the towers and on the battlements, with which to shoot arrows and great stones. His name spread far abroad, because he was marvelously helped until he was strong.

他既强盛，就心高气傲，以致行事邪僻，干犯耶和华—他的 神，进耶和华的殿，要在香坛上烧香。

tā jì qiáng shèng ， jiù xīn gāo qì ào ， yǐ zhì xíng shì xié pì ， gān fàn yē hé huá — tā de shén ， jìn yē hé huá de diàn ， yào zài xiāng tán shàng shāo xiāng 。

But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up, so that he did corruptly and he trespassed against the LORD his God, for he went into the LORD’s temple to burn incense on the altar of incense.

祭司亚撒利雅率领耶和华勇敢的祭司八十人，跟随他进去。

jì sī yà sā lì yǎ shuài lǐng yē hé huá yǒng gǎn de jì sī bā shí rén ， gēn suí tā jìn qù 。

Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him eighty priests of the LORD, who were valiant men.

他们就阻挡乌西雅王，对他说：「乌西雅啊，给耶和华烧香不是你的事，乃是亚伦子孙承接圣职祭司的事。你出圣殿吧！因为你犯了罪。你行这事，耶和华 神必不使你得荣耀。」

tā men jiù zǔ dǎng wū xī yǎ wáng ， duì tā shuō ：「 wū xī yǎ a ， gěi yē hé huá shāo xiāng bú shì nǐ de shì ， nǎi shì yà lún zǐ sūn chéng jiē shèng zhí jì sī de shì 。 nǐ chū shèng diàn ba ！ yīn wèi nǐ fàn le zuì 。 nǐ xíng zhè shì ， yē hé huá shén bì bù shǐ nǐ dé róng yào 。」

They resisted Uzziah the king, and said to him, “It isn’t for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the LORD, but for the priests the sons of Aaron, who are consecrated to burn incense. Go out of the sanctuary, for you have trespassed. It will not be for your honor from the LORD God.”

乌西雅就发怒，手拿香炉要烧香。他向祭司发怒的时候，在耶和华殿中香坛旁众祭司面前，额上忽然发出大麻风。

wū xī yǎ jiù fā nù ， shǒu ná xiāng lú yào shāo xiāng 。 tā xiàng jì sī fā nù de shí hòu ， zài yē hé huá diàn zhōng xiāng tán páng zhòng jì sī miàn qián ， é shàng hū rán fā chū dà má fēng 。

Then Uzziah was angry. He had a censer in his hand to burn incense, and while he was angry with the priests, the leprosy broke out on his forehead before the priests in the LORD’s house, beside the altar of incense.

大祭司亚撒利雅和众祭司观看，见他额上发出大麻风，就催他出殿；他自己也急速出去，因为耶和华降灾与他。

dà jì sī yà sā lì yǎ hé zhòng jì sī guān kàn ， jiàn tā é shàng fā chū dà má fēng ， jiù cuī tā chū diàn ； tā zì jǐ yě jí sù chū qù ， yīn wèi yē hé huá jiàng zāi yǔ tā 。

Azariah the chief priest and all the priests looked at him, and behold, he was leprous in his forehead; and they thrust him out quickly from there. Indeed, he himself also hurried to go out, because the LORD had struck him.

乌西雅王长大麻风直到死日，因此住在别的宫里，与耶和华的殿隔绝。他儿子约坦管理家事，治理国民。

wū xī yǎ wáng zhǎng dà má fēng zhí dào sǐ rì ， yīn cǐ zhù zài bié de gōng lǐ ， yǔ yē hé huá de diàn gé jué 。 tā ér zi yuē tǎn guǎn lǐ jiā shì ， zhì lǐ guó mín 。

Uzziah the king was a leper to the day of his death, and lived in a separate house, being a leper; for he was cut off from the LORD’s house. Jotham his son was over the king’s house, judging the people of the land.

乌西雅其余的事，自始至终都是亚摩斯的儿子先知以赛亚所记的。

wū xī yǎ qí yú de shì ， zì shǐ zhì zhōng dōu shì yà mó sī de ér zi xiān zhī yǐ sài yà suǒ jì de 。

Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first and last, Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, wrote.

乌西雅与他列祖同睡，葬在王陵的田间他列祖的坟地里；因为人说，他是长大麻风的。他儿子约坦接续他作王。

wū xī yǎ yǔ tā liè zǔ tóng shuì ， zàng zài wáng líng de tián jiān tā liè zǔ de fén dì lǐ ； yīn wèi rén shuō ， tā shì zhǎng dà má fēng de 。 tā ér zi yuē tǎn jiē xù tā zuò wáng 。

So Uzziah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the field of burial which belonged to the kings, for they said, “He is a leper.” Jotham his son reigned in his place.
