有一个先知门徒的妻哀求以利沙说：「你仆人—我丈夫死了，他敬畏耶和华是你所知道的。现在有债主来，要取我两个儿子作奴仆。」

yǒu yí gè xiān zhī mén tú de qī āi qiú yǐ lì shā shuō ：「 nǐ pú rén — wǒ zhàng fu sǐ le ， tā jìng wèi yē hé huá shì nǐ suǒ zhī dào de 。 xiàn zài yǒu zhài zhǔ lái ， yào qǔ wǒ liǎng gè ér zi zuò nú pú 。」

Now a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead. You know that your servant feared the LORD. Now the creditor has come to take for himself my two children to be slaves.”

以利沙问她说：「我可以为你做什么呢？你告诉我，你家里有什么？」她说：「婢女家中除了一瓶油之外，没有什么。」

yǐ lì shā wèn tā shuō ：「 wǒ kě yǐ wéi nǐ zuò shén me ne ？ nǐ gào sù wǒ ， nǐ jiā lǐ yǒu shén me ？」 tā shuō ：「 bì nǚ jiā zhōng chú le yì píng yóu zhī wài ， méi yǒu shén me 。」

Elisha said to her, “What should I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” She said, “Your servant has nothing in the house, except a pot of oil.”

以利沙说：「你去，向你众邻舍借空器皿，不要少借；

yǐ lì shā shuō ：「 nǐ qù ， xiàng nǐ zhòng lín shè jiè kōng qì mǐn ， bú yào shǎo jiè ；

Then he said, “Go, borrow empty containers from all your neighbors. Don’t borrow just a few containers.

回到家里，关上门，你和你儿子在里面将油倒在所有的器皿里，倒满了的放在一边。」

huí dào jiā lǐ ， guān shàng mén ， nǐ hé nǐ ér zǐ zài lǐ miàn jiāng yóu dǎo zài suǒ yǒu de qì mǐn lǐ ， dǎo mǎn le de fàng zài yì biān 。」

Go in and shut the door on you and on your sons, and pour oil into all those containers; and set aside those which are full.”

于是，妇人离开以利沙去了，关上门，自己和儿子在里面；儿子把器皿拿来，她就倒油。

yú shì ， fù rén lí kāi yǐ lì shā qù le ， guān shàng mén ， zì jǐ hé ér zi zài lǐ miàn ； ér zi bǎ qì mǐn ná lái ， tā jiù dǎo yóu 。

So she went from him, and shut the door on herself and on her sons. They brought the containers to her, and she poured oil.

器皿都满了，她对儿子说：「再给我拿器皿来。」儿子说：「再没有器皿了。」油就止住了。

qì mǐn dōu mǎn le ， tā duì ér zi shuō ：「 zài gěi wǒ ná qì mǐn lái 。」 ér zi shuō ：「 zài méi yǒu qì mǐn le 。」 yóu jiù zhǐ zhù le 。

When the containers were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another container.” He said to her, “There isn’t another container.” Then the oil stopped flowing.

妇人去告诉神人，神人说：「你去卖油还债，所剩的你和你儿子可以靠着度日。」

fù rén qù gào sù shén rén ， shén rén shuō ：「 nǐ qù mài yóu huán zhài ， suǒ shèng de nǐ hé nǐ ér zi kě yǐ kào zhe dù rì 。」

Then she came and told the man of God. He said, “Go, sell the oil, and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.”

一日，以利沙走到书念，在那里有一个大户的妇人强留他吃饭。此后，以利沙每从那里经过就进去吃饭。

yí rì ， yǐ lì shā zǒu dào shū niàn ， zài nà lǐ yǒu yí gè dà hù de fù rén qiáng liú tā chī fàn 。 cǐ hòu ， yǐ lì shā měi cóng nà lǐ jīng guò jiù jìn qù chī fàn 。

One day Elisha went to Shunem, where there was a prominent woman; and she persuaded him to eat bread. So it was, that as often as he passed by, he turned in there to eat bread.

妇人对丈夫说：「我看出那常从我们这里经过的是圣洁的神人。

fù rén duì zhàng fū shuō ：「 wǒ kàn chū nà cháng cóng wǒ men zhè lǐ jīng guò de shì shèng jié de shén rén 。

She said to her husband, “See now, I perceive that this is a holy man of God who passes by us continually.

我们可以为他在墙上盖一间小楼，在其中安放床榻、桌子、椅子、灯台，他来到我们这里，就可以住在其间。」

wǒ men kě yǐ wéi tā zài qiáng shàng gài yì jiān xiǎo lóu ， zài qí zhōng ān fàng chuáng tà 、 zhuō zǐ 、 yǐ zi 、 dēng tái ， tā lái dào wǒ men zhè lǐ ， jiù kě yǐ zhù zài qí jiān 。」

Please, let’s make a little room on the roof. Let’s set a bed, a table, a chair, and a lamp stand for him there. When he comes to us, he can stay there.”

一日，以利沙来到那里，就进了那楼躺卧。

yí rì ， yǐ lì shā lái dào nà lǐ ， jiù jìn le nà lóu tǎng wò 。

One day he came there, and he went to the room and lay there.

以利沙吩咐仆人基哈西说：「你叫这书念妇人来。」他就把妇人叫了来，妇人站在以利沙面前。

yǐ lì shā fēn fù pú rén jī hā xī shuō ：「 nǐ jiào zhè shū niàn fù rén lái 。」 tā jiù bǎ fù rén jiào le lái ， fù rén zhàn zài yǐ lì shā miàn qián 。

He said to Gehazi his servant, “Call this Shunammite.” When he had called her, she stood before him.

以利沙吩咐仆人说：「你对她说：你既为我们费了许多心思，可以为你做什么呢？你向王或元帅有所求的没有？」她回答说：「我在我本乡安居无事。」

yǐ lì shā fēn fù pú rén shuō ：「 nǐ duì tā shuō ： nǐ jì wèi wǒ men fèi le xǔ duō xīn sī ， kě yǐ wéi nǐ zuò shén me ne ？ nǐ xiàng wáng huò yuán shuài yǒu suǒ qiú de méi yǒu ？」 tā huí dá shuō ：「 wǒ zài wǒ běn xiāng ān jū wú shì 。」

He said to him, “Say now to her, ‘Behold, you have cared for us with all this care. What is to be done for you? Would you like to be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the army?’” She answered, “I dwell among my own people.”

以利沙对仆人说：「究竟当为她做什么呢？」基哈西说：「她没有儿子，她丈夫也老了。」

yǐ lì shā duì pú rén shuō ：「 jiū jìng dāng wèi tā zuò shén me ne ？」 jī hā xī shuō ：「 tā méi yǒu ér zi ， tā zhàng fu yě lǎo le 。」

He said, “What then is to be done for her?” Gehazi answered, “Most certainly she has no son, and her husband is old.”

以利沙说：「再叫她来。」于是叫了她来，她就站在门口。

yǐ lì shā shuō ：「 zài jiào tā lái 。」 yú shì jiào le tā lái ， tā jiù zhàn zài mén kǒu 。

He said, “Call her.” When he had called her, she stood in the door.

以利沙说：「明年到这时候，你必抱一个儿子。」她说：「神人，我主啊，不要那样欺哄婢女。」

yǐ lì shā shuō ：「 míng nián dào zhè shí hòu ， nǐ bì bào yí gè ér zǐ 。」 tā shuō ：「 shén rén ， wǒ zhǔ a ， bú yào nà yàng qī hǒng bì nǚ 。」

He said, “At this season next year, you will embrace a son.” She said, “No, my lord, you man of God, do not lie to your servant.”

妇人果然怀孕，到了那时候，生了一个儿子，正如以利沙所说的。

fù rén guǒ rán huái yùn ， dào le nà shí hòu ， shēng le yí gè ér zi ， zhèng rú yǐ lì shā suǒ shuō de 。

The woman conceived, and bore a son at that season when the time came around, as Elisha had said to her.

孩子渐渐长大，一日到他父亲和收割的人那里，

hái zi jiàn jiàn zhǎng dà ， yí rì dào tā fù qīn hé shōu gē de rén nà lǐ ，

When the child was grown, one day he went out to his father to the reapers.

他对父亲说：「我的头啊，我的头啊！」他父亲对仆人说：「把他抱到他母亲那里。」

tā duì fù qīn shuō ：「 wǒ de tóu a ， wǒ de tóu a ！」 tā fù qīn duì pú rén shuō ：「 bǎ tā bào dào tā mǔ qīn nà lǐ 。」

He said to his father, “My head! My head!” He said to his servant, “Carry him to his mother.”

仆人抱去，交给他母亲；孩子坐在母亲的膝上，到晌午就死了。

pú rén bào qù ， jiāo gěi tā mǔ qīn ； hái zi zuò zài mǔ qīn de xī shàng ， dào shǎng wǔ jiù sǐ le 。

When he had taken him and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees until noon, and then died.

他母亲抱他上了楼，将他放在神人的床上，关上门出来，

tā mǔ qīn bào tā shàng le lóu ， jiāng tā fàng zài shén rén de chuáng shàng ， guān shàng mén chū lái ，

She went up and laid him on the man of God’s bed, and shut the door on him, and went out.

呼叫她丈夫说：「你叫一个仆人给我牵一匹驴来，我要快快地去见神人，就回来。」

hū jiào tā zhàng fu shuō ：「 nǐ jiào yí gè pú rén gěi wǒ qiān yì pǐ lǘ lái ， wǒ yào kuài kuài dì qù jiàn shén rén ， jiù huí lái 。」

She called to her husband and said, “Please send me one of the servants, and one of the donkeys, that I may run to the man of God and come again.”

丈夫说：「今日不是月朔，也不是安息日，你为何要去见他呢？」妇人说：「平安无事。」

zhàng fu shuō ：「 jīn rì bú shì yuè shuò ， yě bú shì ān xī rì ， nǐ wèi hé yào qù jiàn tā ne ？」 fù rén shuō ：「 píng ān wú shì 。」

He said, “Why would you want to go to him today? It is not a new moon or a Sabbath.” She said, “It’s all right.”

于是备上驴，对仆人说：「你快快赶着走，我若不吩咐你，就不要迟慢。」

yú shì bèi shàng lǘ ， duì pú rén shuō ：「 nǐ kuài kuài gǎn zhe zǒu ， wǒ ruò bù fēn fù nǐ ， jiù bú yào chí màn 。」

Then she saddled a donkey, and said to her servant, “Drive, and go forward! Don’t slow down for me, unless I ask you to.”

妇人就往迦密山去见神人。 神人远远地看见她，对仆人基哈西说：「看哪，书念的妇人来了！

fù rén jiù wǎng jiā mì shān qù jiàn shén rén 。 shén rén yuǎn yuǎn dì kàn jiàn tā ， duì pú rén jī hā xī shuō ：「 kàn nǎ ， shū niàn de fù rén lái le ！

So she went, and came to the man of God to Mount Carmel. When the man of God saw her afar off, he said to Gehazi his servant, “Behold, there is the Shunammite.

你跑去迎接她，问她说：你平安吗？你丈夫平安吗？孩子平安吗？」她说：「平安。」

nǐ pǎo qù yíng jiē tā ， wèn tā shuō ： nǐ píng ān ma ？ nǐ zhàng fu píng ān ma ？ hái zi píng ān ma ？」 tā shuō ：「 píng ān 。」

Please run now to meet her, and ask her, ‘Is it well with you? Is it well with your husband? Is it well with your child?’” She answered, “It is well.”

妇人上了山，到神人那里，就抱住神人的脚。基哈西前来要推开她，神人说：「由她吧！因为她心里愁苦，耶和华向我隐瞒，没有指示我。」

fù rén shàng le shān ， dào shén rén nà lǐ ， jiù bào zhù shén rén de jiǎo 。 jī hā xī qián lái yào tuī kāi tā ， shén rén shuō ：「 yóu tā ba ！ yīn wèi tā xīn lǐ chóu kǔ ， yē hé huá xiàng wǒ yǐn mán ， méi yǒu zhǐ shì wǒ 。」

When she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught hold of his feet. Gehazi came near to thrust her away; but the man of God said, “Leave her alone, for her soul is troubled within her; and the LORD has hidden it from me, and has not told me.”

妇人说：「我何尝向我主求过儿子呢？我岂没有说过，不要欺哄我吗？」

fù rén shuō ：「 wǒ hé cháng xiàng wǒ zhǔ qiú guò ér zi ne ？ wǒ qǐ méi yǒu shuō guò ， bú yào qī hǒng wǒ ma ？」

Then she said, “Did I ask you for a son, my lord? Didn’t I say, ‘Do not deceive me’?”

以利沙吩咐基哈西说：「你束上腰，手拿我的杖前去；若遇见人，不要向他问安；人若向你问安，也不要回答；要把我的杖放在孩子脸上。」

yǐ lì shā fēn fù jī hā xī shuō ：「 nǐ shù shàng yāo ， shǒu ná wǒ de zhàng qián qù ； ruò yù jiàn rén ， bú yào xiàng tā wèn ān ； rén ruò xiàng nǐ wèn ān ， yě bú yào huí dá ； yào bǎ wǒ de zhàng fàng zài hái zi liǎn shàng 。」

Then he said to Gehazi, “Tuck your cloak into your belt, take my staff in your hand, and go your way. If you meet any man, don’t greet him; and if anyone greets you, don’t answer him again. Then lay my staff on the child’s face.”

孩子的母亲说：「我指着永生的耶和华，又敢在你面前起誓，我必不离开你。」于是以利沙起身，随着她去了。

hái zǐ de mǔ qīn shuō ：「 wǒ zhǐ zhe yǒng shēng de yē hé huá ， yòu gǎn zài nǐ miàn qián qǐ shì ， wǒ bì bù lí kāi nǐ 。」 yú shì yǐ lì shā qǐ shēn ， suí zhe tā qù le 。

The child’s mother said, “As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So he arose, and followed her.

基哈西先去，把杖放在孩子脸上，却没有声音，也没有动静。基哈西就迎着以利沙回来，告诉他说：「孩子还没有醒过来。」

jī hā xī xiān qù ， bǎ zhàng fàng zài hái zi liǎn shàng ， què méi yǒu shēng yīn ， yě méi yǒu dòng jìng 。 jī hā xī jiù yíng zhe yǐ lì shā huí lái ， gào sù tā shuō ：「 hái zi hái méi yǒu xǐng guò lái 。」

Gehazi went ahead of them, and laid the staff on the child’s face; but there was no voice and no hearing. Therefore he returned to meet him, and told him, “The child has not awakened.”

以利沙来到，进了屋子，看见孩子死了，放在自己的床上。

yǐ lì shā lái dào ， jìn le wū zi ， kàn jiàn hái zi sǐ le ， fàng zài zì jǐ de chuáng shàng 。

When Elisha had come into the house, behold, the child was dead, and lying on his bed.

他就关上门，只有自己和孩子在里面，他便祈祷耶和华，

tā jiù guān shàng mén ， zhǐ yǒu zì jǐ hé hái zi zài lǐ miàn ， tā biàn qí dǎo yē hé huá ，

He went in therefore, and shut the door on them both, and prayed to the LORD.

上床伏在孩子身上，口对口，眼对眼，手对手；既伏在孩子身上，孩子的身体就渐渐温和了。

shàng chuáng fú zài hái zi shēn shàng ， kǒu duì kǒu ， yǎn duì yǎn ， shǒu duì shǒu ； jì fú zài hái zi shēn shàng ， hái zi de shēn tǐ jiù jiàn jiàn wēn hé le 。

He went up and lay on the child, and put his mouth on his mouth, and his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands. He stretched himself on him; and the child’s flesh grew warm.

然后他下来，在屋里来往走了一趟，又上去伏在孩子身上，孩子打了七个喷嚏，就睁开眼睛了。

rán hòu tā xià lái ， zài wū lǐ lái wǎng zǒu le yí tàng ， yòu shàng qù fú zài hái zi shēn shàng ， hái zi dǎ le qī gè pēn tì ， jiù zhēng kāi yǎn jīng le 。

Then he returned, and walked in the house once back and forth, then went up and stretched himself out on him. Then the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.

以利沙叫基哈西说：「你叫这书念妇人来」；于是叫了她来。以利沙说：「将你儿子抱起来。」

yǐ lì shā jiào jī hā xī shuō ：「 nǐ jiào zhè shū niàn fù rén lái 」； yú shì jiào le tā lái 。 yǐ lì shā shuō ：「 jiāng nǐ ér zi bào qǐ lái 。」

He called Gehazi, and said, “Call this Shunammite!” So he called her. When she had come in to him, he said, “Take up your son.”

妇人就进来，在以利沙脚前俯伏于地，抱起她儿子出去了。

fù rén jiù jìn lái ， zài yǐ lì shā jiǎo qián fǔ fú yú dì ， bào qǐ tā ér zi chū qù le 。

Then she went in, fell at his feet, and bowed herself to the ground; then she picked up her son, and went out.

以利沙又来到吉甲，那地正有饥荒。先知门徒坐在他面前，他吩咐仆人说：「你将大锅放在火上，给先知门徒熬汤。」

yǐ lì shā yòu lái dào jí jiǎ ， nà dì zhèng yǒu jī huāng 。 xiān zhī mén tú zuò zài tā miàn qián ， tā fēn fù pú rén shuō ：「 nǐ jiāng dà guō fàng zài huǒ shàng ， gěi xiān zhī mén tú áo tāng 。」

Elisha came again to Gilgal. There was a famine in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him; and he said to his servant, “Get the large pot, and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.”

有一个人去到田野掐菜，遇见一棵野瓜藤，就摘了一兜野瓜回来，切了搁在熬汤的锅中，因为他们不知道是什么东西；

yǒu yí gè rén qù dào tián yě qiā cài ， yù jiàn yì kē yě guā téng ， jiù zhāi le yì dōu yě guā huí lái ， qiè le gē zài áo tāng de guō zhōng ， yīn wèi tā men bù zhī dào shì shén me dōng xī ；

One went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered a lap full of wild gourds from it, and came and cut them up into the pot of stew; for they didn’t recognize them.

倒出来给众人吃，吃的时候，都喊叫说：「神人哪，锅中有致死的毒物！」所以众人不能吃了。

dǎo chū lái gěi zhòng rén chī ， chī de shí hòu ， dōu hǎn jiào shuō ：「 shén rén nǎ ， guō zhōng yǒu zhì sǐ de dú wù ！」 suǒ yǐ zhòng rén bù néng chī le 。

So they poured out for the men to eat. As they were eating some of the stew, they cried out and said, “Man of God, there is death in the pot!” And they could not eat it.

以利沙说：「拿点面来」，就把面撒在锅中，说：「倒出来，给众人吃吧！」锅中就没有毒了。

yǐ lì shā shuō ：「 ná diǎn miàn lái 」， jiù bǎ miàn sā zài guō zhōng ， shuō ：「 dǎo chū lái ， gěi zhòng rén chī ba ！」 guō zhōng jiù méi yǒu dú le 。

But he said, “Then bring meal.” He threw it into the pot; and he said, “Serve it to the people, that they may eat.” And there was nothing harmful in the pot.

有一个人从巴力·沙利沙来，带着初熟大麦做的饼二十个，并新穗子，装在口袋里送给神人。神人说：「把这些给众人吃。」

yǒu yí gè rén cóng bā lì · shā lì shā lái ， dài zhe chū shú dà mài zuò de bǐng èr shí gè ， bìng xīn suì zǐ ， zhuāng zài kǒu dài lǐ sòng gěi shén rén 。 shén rén shuō ：「 bǎ zhè xiē gěi zhòng rén chī 。」

A man from Baal Shalishah came, and brought the man of God some bread of the first fruits: twenty loaves of barley and fresh ears of grain in his sack. Elisha said, “Give to the people, that they may eat.”

仆人说：「这一点岂可摆给一百人吃呢？」以利沙说：「你只管给众人吃吧！因为耶和华如此说，众人必吃了，还剩下。」

pú rén shuō ：「 zhè yì diǎn qǐ kě bǎi gěi yì bǎi rén chī ne ？」 yǐ lì shā shuō ：「 nǐ zhǐ guǎn gěi zhòng rén chī ba ！ yīn wèi yē hé huá rú cǐ shuō ， zhòng rén bì chī le ， hái shèng xià 。」

His servant said, “What, should I set this before a hundred men?” But he said, “Give it to the people, that they may eat; for the LORD says, ‘They will eat, and will have some left over.’”

仆人就摆在众人面前，他们吃了，果然还剩下，正如耶和华所说的。

pú rén jiù bǎi zài zhòng rén miàn qián ， tā men chī le ， guǒ rán hái shèng xià ， zhèng rú yē hé huá suǒ shuō de 。

So he set it before them and they ate and had some left over, according to the LORD’s word.
