sǎo luó réng rán xiàng zhǔ de mén tú kǒu tǔ wēi hè xiōng shā de huà , qù jiàn dà jì sī ,

But Saul, still breathing threats and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest

qiú wén shū gěi dà mǎ shì gé de gè huì táng , ruò shì zhǎo zhe xìn fèng zhè dào de rén , wú lùn nán nǚ , dōu zhǔn tā kǔn bǎng dài dào yē lù sā lěng 。

and asked for letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

sǎo luó xíng lù , jiāng dào dà mǎ shì gé , hū rán cóng tiān shàng fā guāng , sì miàn zhào zhe tā ;

As he traveled, he got close to Damascus, and suddenly a light from the sky shone around him.

tā jiù pú dǎo zài dì , tīng jiàn yǒu shēng yīn duì tā shuō :「 sǎo luó ! sǎo luó ! nǐ wèi shén me bī pò wǒ ?」

He fell on the earth, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”

:「?」:「

tā shuō :「 zhǔ a ! nǐ shì shuí ?」 zhǔ shuō :「 wǒ jiù shì nǐ suǒ bī pò de yē sū 。

He said, “Who are you, Lord?” The Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

。」

qǐ lái ! jìn chéng qù , nǐ suǒ dàng zuò de shì , bì yǒu rén gào sù nǐ 。」

But rise up and enter into the city, then you will be told what you must do.”

tóng xíng de rén zhàn zài nà lǐ , shuō bù chū huà lái , tīng jiàn shēng yīn , què kàn bú jiàn rén 。

The men who traveled with him stood speechless, hearing the sound, but seeing no one.

sǎo luó cóng dì shàng qǐ lái , zhēng kāi yǎn jīng , jìng bù néng kàn jiàn shén me 。 yǒu rén lā tā de shǒu , lǐng tā jìn le dà mǎ shì gé ;

Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened, he saw no one. They led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus.

sān rì bù néng kàn jiàn , yě bù chī yě bù hē 。

He was without sight for three days, and neither ate nor drank.

dāng xià , zài dà mǎ shì gé yǒu yí gè mén tú , míng jiào yà ná ní yà 。 zhǔ zài yì xiàng zhōng duì tā shuō :「 yà ná ní yà 。」 tā shuō :「 zhǔ , wǒ zài zhè lǐ 。」

Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias!” He said, “Behold, it’s me, Lord.”

zhǔ duì tā shuō :「 qǐ lái ! wǎng zhí jiē qù , zài yóu dà de jiā lǐ , fǎng wèn yí gè dà shù rén , míng jiào sǎo luó 。 tā zhèng dǎo gào ,

The Lord said to him, “Arise and go to the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judah for one named Saul, a man of Tarsus. For behold, he is praying,

。」

yòu kàn jiàn le yí gè rén , míng jiào yà ná ní yà , jìn lái àn shǒu zài tā shēn shàng , jiào tā néng kàn jiàn 。」

and in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and laying his hands on him, that he might receive his sight.”

:「

yà ná ní yà huí dá shuō :「 zhǔ a , wǒ tīng jiàn xǔ duō rén shuō , zhè rén zěn yàng zài yē lù sā lěng duō duō kǔ hài nǐ de shèng tú ,

But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he did to your saints at Jerusalem.

。」

bìng qiě tā zài zhè lǐ yǒu cóng jì sī zhǎng dé lái de quán bǐng kǔn bǎng yí qiè qiú gào nǐ míng de rén 。」

Here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name.”

:「

zhǔ duì yà ná ní yà shuō :「 nǐ zhǐ guǎn qù ! tā shì wǒ suǒ jiǎn xuǎn de qì mǐn , yào zài wài bāng rén hé jūn wáng , bìng yǐ sè liè rén miàn qián xuān yáng wǒ de míng 。

But the Lord said to him, “Go your way, for he is my chosen vessel to bear my name before the nations and kings, and the children of Israel.

。」

wǒ yě yào zhǐ shì tā , wèi wǒ de míng bì xū shòu xǔ duō de kǔ nàn 。」

For I will show him how many things he must suffer for my name’s sake.”

yà ná ní yà jiù qù le , jìn rù nà jiā , bǎ shǒu àn zài sǎo luó shēn shàng , shuō :「 xiōng dì sǎo luó , zài nǐ lái de lù shang xiàng nǐ xiǎn xiàn de zhǔ , jiù shì yē sū , dǎ fā wǒ lái , jiào nǐ néng kàn jiàn , yòu bèi shèng líng chōng mǎn 。」

Ananias departed and entered into the house. Laying his hands on him, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord, who appeared to you on the road by which you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

sǎo luó de yǎn jīng shàng , hǎo xiàng yǒu lín lì kè diào xià lái , tā jiù néng kàn jiàn 。 yú shì qǐ lái shòu le xǐ ;

Immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he received his sight. He arose and was baptized.

chī guò fàn jiù jiàn zhuàng le 。 sǎo luó zài dà mǎ shì gé chuán dào sǎo luó hé dà mǎ shì gé de mén tú tóng zhù le xiē rì zi ,

He took food and was strengthened. Saul stayed several days with the disciples who were at Damascus.

jiù zài gè huì táng lǐ xuān chuán yē sū , shuō tā shì shén de ér zi 。

Immediately in the synagogues he proclaimed the Christ, that he is the Son of God.

fán tīng jiàn de rén dōu jīng qí , shuō :「 zài yē lù sā lěng cán hài qiú gào zhè míng de , bú shì zhè rén ma ? bìng qiě tā dào zhè lǐ lái , tè yào kǔn bǎng tā men , dài dào jì sī zhǎng nà lǐ 。」

All who heard him were amazed, and said, “Isn’t this he who in Jerusalem made havoc of those who called on this name? And he had come here intending to bring them bound before the chief priests!”

dàn sǎo luó yuè fā yǒu néng lì , bó dǎo zhù dà mǎ shì gé de yóu tài rén , zhèng míng yē sū shì jī dū 。

But Saul increased more in strength, and confounded the Jews who lived at Damascus, proving that this is the Christ.

guò le hǎo xiē rì zi , yóu tài rén shāng yì yào shā sǎo luó ,

When many days were fulfilled, the Jews conspired together to kill him,

dàn tā men de jì móu bèi sǎo luó zhī dào le 。 tā men yòu zhòu yè zài chéng mén shǒu hòu , yào shā tā 。

but their plot became known to Saul. They watched the gates both day and night that they might kill him,

tā de mén tú jiù zài yè jiān yòng kuāng zǐ bǎ tā cóng chéng qiáng shàng zhuì xià qù 。

but his disciples took him by night and let him down through the wall, lowering him in a basket.

sǎo luó dào le yē lù sā lěng , xiǎng yǔ mén tú jié jiāo , tā men què dōu pà tā , bú xìn tā shì mén tú 。

When Saul had come to Jerusalem, he tried to join himself to the disciples; but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple.

使

wéi yǒu bā ná bā jiē dài tā , lǐng qù jiàn shǐ tú , bǎ tā zài lù shang zěn me kàn jiàn zhǔ , zhǔ zěn me xiàng tā shuō huà , tā zài dà mǎ shì gé zěn me fèng yē sū de míng fàng dǎn chuán dào , dōu shù shuō chū lái 。

But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles, and declared to them how he had seen the Lord on the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how at Damascus he had preached boldly in the name of Jesus.

yú shì sǎo luó zài yē lù sā lěng hé mén tú chū rù lái wǎng ,

He was with them entering into Jerusalem,

fèng zhǔ de míng fàng dǎn chuán dào , bìng yǔ shuō xī là huà de yóu tài rén jiǎng lùn biàn bó ; tā men què xiǎng fǎ zǐ yào shā tā 。

preaching boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus. He spoke and disputed against the Hellenists, but they were seeking to kill him.

dì xiong men zhī dào le jiù sòng tā xià kǎi sā lì yà , dǎ fā tā wǎng dà shù qù 。

When the brothers knew it, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him off to Tarsus.

nà shí , yóu tài 、 jiā lì lì 、 sā mǎ lì yà gè chù de jiào huì dōu dé píng ān , bèi jiàn lì ; fán shì jìng wèi zhǔ , méng shèng líng de ān wèi , rén shù jiù zēng duō le 。

So the assemblies throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were built up. They were multiplied, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

bǐ dé zhōu liú sì fāng de shí hòu , yě dào le jū zhù lǚ dà de shèng tú nà lǐ ;

As Peter went throughout all those parts, he came down also to the saints who lived at Lydda.

yù jiàn yí gè rén , míng jiào yǐ ní yǎ , dé le tān huàn , zài rù zǐ shàng tǎng wò bā nián 。

There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden for eight years because he was paralyzed.

bǐ dé duì tā shuō :「 yǐ ní yǎ , yē sū jī dū yī hǎo nǐ le , qǐ lái ! shōu shí nǐ de rù zǐ 。」 tā jiù lì kè qǐ lái le 。

Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and make your bed!” Immediately he arose.

fán zhù lǚ dà hé shā de rén dōu kàn jiàn le tā , jiù guī fú zhǔ 。

All who lived at Lydda and in Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.

zài yuē pà yǒu yí gè nǚ tú , míng jiào dà bǐ dà , fān xī là huà jiù shì duō jiā ; tā guǎng xíng shàn shì , duō shī zhōu jì 。

Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which when translated means Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and acts of mercy which she did.

dāng shí , tā huàn bìng ér sǐ , yǒu rén bǎ tā xǐ le , tíng zài lóu shàng 。

In those days, she became sick and died. When they had washed her, they laid her in an upper room.

lǚ dà yuán yǔ yuē pà xiāng jìn ; mén tú tīng jiàn bǐ dé zài nà lǐ , jiù dǎ fā liǎng gè rén qù jiàn tā , yāng qiú tā shuō :「 kuài dào wǒ men nà lǐ qù , bú yào dān yán 。」

As Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him, imploring him not to delay in coming to them.

便

bǐ dé jiù qǐ shēn hé tā men tóng qù ; dào le , biàn yǒu rén lǐng tā shàng lóu 。 zhòng guǎ fù dōu zhàn zài bǐ dé páng biān kū , ná duō jiā yǔ tā men tóng zài shí suǒ zuò de lǐ yī wài yī gěi tā kàn 。

Peter got up and went with them. When he had come, they brought him into the upper room. All the widows stood by him weeping, and showing the tunics and other garments which Dorcas had made while she was with them.

bǐ dé jiào tā men dōu chū qù , jiù guì xià dǎo gào , zhuǎn shēn duì zhe sǐ rén shuō :「 dà bǐ dà , qǐ lái !」 tā jiù zhēng kāi yǎn jīng , jiàn le bǐ dé , biàn zuò qǐ lái 。

Peter sent them all out, and knelt down and prayed. Turning to the body, he said, “Tabitha, get up!” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

bǐ dé shēn shǒu fú tā qǐ lái , jiào zhòng shèng tú hé guǎ fù jìn qù , bǎ duō jiā huó huó dì jiāo gěi tā men 。

He gave her his hand and raised her up. Calling the saints and widows, he presented her alive.

zhè shì chuán biàn le yuē pà , jiù yǒu xǔ duō rén xìn le zhǔ 。

This became known throughout all Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.

cǐ hòu , bǐ dé zài yuē pà yí gè xiāo pí jiàng xī mén de jiā lǐ zhù le duō rì 。

He stayed many days in Joppa with a tanner named Simon.
