以斯帖记 5

第三日，以斯帖穿上朝服，进王宫的内院，对殿站立。王在殿里坐在宝座上，对着殿门。

dì sān rì ， yǐ sī tiē chuān shàng cháo fú ， jìn wáng gōng de nèi yuàn ， duì diàn zhàn lì 。 wáng zài diàn lǐ zuò zài bǎo zuò shàng ， duì zhe diàn mén 。

Now on the third day, Esther put on her royal clothing and stood in the inner court of the king’s house, next to the king’s house. The king sat on his royal throne in the royal house, next to the entrance of the house.

王见王后以斯帖站在院内，就施恩于她，向她伸出手中的金杖；以斯帖便向前摸杖头。

wáng jiàn wáng hòu yǐ sī tiē zhàn zài yuàn nèi ， jiù shī ēn yú tā ， xiàng tā shēn chū shǒu zhōng de jīn zhàng ； yǐ sī tiē biàn xiàng qián mō zhàng tóu 。

When the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, she obtained favor in his sight; and the king held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. So Esther came near and touched the top of the scepter.

王对她说：「王后以斯帖啊，你要什么？你求什么，就是国的一半也必赐给你。」

wáng duì tā shuō ：「 wáng hòu yǐ sī tiē a ， nǐ yào shén me ？ nǐ qiú shén me ， jiù shì guó de yí bàn yě bì cì gěi nǐ 。」

Then the king asked her, “What would you like, queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given you even to the half of the kingdom.”

以斯帖说：「王若以为美，就请王带着哈曼今日赴我所预备的筵席。」

yǐ sī tiē shuō ：「 wáng ruò yǐ wéi měi ， jiù qǐng wáng dài zhe hā màn jīn rì fù wǒ suǒ yù bèi de yán xí 。」

Esther said, “If it seems good to the king, let the king and Haman come today to the banquet that I have prepared for him.”

王说：「叫哈曼速速照以斯帖的话去行。」于是王带着哈曼赴以斯帖所预备的筵席。

wáng shuō ：「 jiào hā màn sù sù zhào yǐ sī tiē de huà qù xíng 。」 yú shì wáng dài zhe hā màn fù yǐ sī tiē suǒ yù bèi de yán xí 。

Then the king said, “Bring Haman quickly, so that it may be done as Esther has said.” So the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had prepared.

在酒席筵前，王又问以斯帖说：「你要什么，我必赐给你；你求什么，就是国的一半也必为你成就。」

zài jiǔ xí yán qián ， wáng yòu wèn yǐ sī tiē shuō ：「 nǐ yào shén me ， wǒ bì cì gěi nǐ ； nǐ qiú shén me ， jiù shì guó de yí bàn yě bì wèi nǐ chéng jiù 。」

The king said to Esther at the banquet of wine, “What is your petition? It shall be granted you. What is your request? Even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.”

以斯帖回答说：「我有所要，我有所求。

yǐ sī tiē huí dá shuō ：「 wǒ yǒu suǒ yào ， wǒ yǒu suǒ qiú 。

Then Esther answered and said, “My petition and my request is this.

我若在王眼前蒙恩，王若愿意赐我所要的，准我所求的，就请王带着哈曼再赴我所要预备的筵席。明日我必照王所问的说明。」

wǒ ruò zài wáng yǎn qián méng ēn ， wáng ruò yuàn yì cì wǒ suǒ yào de ， zhǔn wǒ suǒ qiú de ， jiù qǐng wáng dài zhe hā màn zài fù wǒ suǒ yào yù bèi de yán xí 。 míng rì wǒ bì zhào wáng suǒ wèn de shuō míng 。」

If I have found favor in the sight of the king, and if it pleases the king to grant my petition and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I will prepare for them, and I will do tomorrow as the king has said.”

那日哈曼心中快乐，欢欢喜喜地出来；但见末底改在朝门不站起来，连身也不动，就满心恼怒末底改。

nà rì hā màn xīn zhōng kuài lè ， huān huān xǐ xǐ dì chū lái ； dàn jiàn mò dǐ gǎi zài cháo mén bú zhàn qǐ lái ， lián shēn yě bú dòng ， jiù mǎn xīn nǎo nù mò dǐ gǎi 。

Then Haman went out that day joyful and glad of heart, but when Haman saw Mordecai in the king’s gate, that he didn’t stand up nor move for him, he was filled with wrath against Mordecai.

哈曼暂且忍耐回家，叫人请他朋友和他妻子细利斯来。

hā màn zàn qiě rěn nài huí jiā ， jiào rén qǐng tā péng yǒu hé tā qī zǐ xì lì sī lái 。

Nevertheless Haman restrained himself, and went home. There, he sent and called for his friends and Zeresh his wife.

哈曼将他富厚的荣耀、众多的儿女，和王抬举他使他超乎首领臣仆之上，都述说给他们听。

hā màn jiāng tā fù hòu de róng yào 、 zhòng duō de ér nǚ ， hé wáng tái jǔ tā shǐ tā chāo hū shǒu lǐng chén pú zhī shàng ， dōu shù shuō gěi tā men tīng 。

Haman recounted to them the glory of his riches, the multitude of his children, all the things in which the king had promoted him, and how he had advanced him above the princes and servants of the king.

哈曼又说：「王后以斯帖预备筵席，除了我之外不许别人随王赴席。明日王后又请我随王赴席；

hā màn yòu shuō ：「 wáng hòu yǐ sī tiē yù bèi yán xí ， chú le wǒ zhī wài bù xǔ bié rén suí wáng fù xí 。 míng rì wáng hòu yòu qǐng wǒ suí wáng fù xí ；

Haman also said, “Yes, Esther the queen let no man come in with the king to the banquet that she had prepared but myself; and tomorrow I am also invited by her together with the king.

只是我见犹大人末底改坐在朝门，虽有这一切荣耀，也与我无益。」

zhǐ shì wǒ jiàn yóu dà rén mò dǐ gǎi zuò zài cháo mén ， suī yǒu zhè yí qiè róng yào ， yě yǔ wǒ wú yì 。」

Yet all this avails me nothing, so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king’s gate.”

他的妻细利斯和他一切的朋友对他说：「不如立一个五丈高的木架，明早求王将末底改挂在其上，然后你可以欢欢喜喜地随王赴席。」哈曼以这话为美，就叫人做了木架。

tā de qī xì lì sī hé tā yí qiè de péng yǒu duì tā shuō ：「 bù rú lì yí gè wǔ zhàng gāo de mù jià ， míng zǎo qiú wáng jiāng mò dǐ gǎi guà zài qí shàng ， rán hòu nǐ kě yǐ huān huān xǐ xǐ dì suí wáng fù xí 。」 hā màn yǐ zhè huà wèi měi ， jiù jiào rén zuò le mù jià 。

Then Zeresh his wife and all his friends said to him, “Let a gallows be made fifty cubits high, and in the morning speak to the king about hanging Mordecai on it. Then go in merrily with the king to the banquet.” This pleased Haman, so he had the gallows made.
