创世记 2
天地万物都造齐了。
tiān dì wàn wù dōu zào qí le 。
The heavens, the earth, and all their vast array were finished.
到第七日, 神造物的工已经完毕,就在第七日歇了他一切的工,安息了。
dào dì qī rì , shén zào wù de gōng yǐ jīng wán bì , jiù zài dì qī rì xiē le tā yí qiè de gōng , ān xī le 。
On the seventh day God finished his work which he had done; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done.
神赐福给第七日,定为圣日;因为在这日, 神歇了他一切创造的工,就安息了。
shén cì fú gěi dì qī rì , dìng wèi shèng rì ; yīn wèi zài zhè rì , shén xiē le tā yí qiè chuàng zào de gōng , jiù ān xī le 。
God blessed the seventh day, and made it holy, because he rested in it from all his work of creation which he had done.
创造天地的来历,在耶和华 神造天地的日子,乃是这样,
chuàng zào tiān dì de lái lì , zài yē hé huá shén zào tiān dì de rì zi , nǎi shì zhè yàng ,
This is the history of the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens.
野地还没有草木,田间的菜蔬还没有长起来;因为耶和华 神还没有降雨在地上,也没有人耕地,
yě dì hái méi yǒu cǎo mù , tián jiān de cài shū hái méi yǒu cháng qǐ lái ; yīn wèi yē hé huá shén hái méi yǒu jiàng yǔ zài dì shàng , yě méi yǒu rén gēng dì ,
No plant of the field was yet in the earth, and no herb of the field had yet sprung up; for the LORD God had not caused it to rain on the earth. There was not a man to till the ground,
但有雾气从地上腾,滋润遍地。
dàn yǒu wù qì cóng dì shàng téng , zī rùn biàn dì 。
but a mist went up from the earth, and watered the whole surface of the ground.
耶和华 神用地上的尘土造人,将生气吹在他鼻孔里,他就成了有灵的活人,名叫 亚当。
yē hé huá shén yòng dì shàng de chén tǔ zào rén , jiāng shēng qì chuī zài tā bí kǒng lǐ , tā jiù chéng le yǒu líng de huó rén , míng jiào yà dāng 。
The LORD God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
耶和华 神在东方的伊甸立了一个园子,把所造的人安置在那里。
yē hé huá shén zài dōng fāng de yī diàn lì le yí gè yuán zǐ , bǎ suǒ zào de rén ān zhì zài nà lǐ 。
The LORD God planted a garden eastward, in Eden, and there he put the man whom he had formed.
耶和华 神使各样的树从地里长出来,可以悦人的眼目,其上的果子好作食物。园子当中又有生命树和分别善恶的树。
yē hé huá shén shǐ gè yàng de shù cóng dì lǐ cháng chū lái , kě yǐ yuè rén de yǎn mù , qí shàng de guǒ zǐ hǎo zuò shí wù 。 yuán zǐ dāng zhōng yòu yǒu shēng mìng shù hé fēn bié shàn è de shù 。
Out of the ground the LORD God made every tree to grow that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food, including the tree of life in the middle of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
有河从伊甸流出来,滋润那园子,从那里分为四道:
yǒu hé cóng yī diàn liú chū lái , zī rùn nà yuán zǐ , cóng nà lǐ fēn wéi sì dào :
A river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it was parted, and became the source of four rivers.
第一道名叫比逊,就是环绕哈腓拉全地的。在那里有金子,
dì yí dào míng jiào bǐ xùn , jiù shì huán rào hā féi lā quán dì de 。 zài nà lǐ yǒu jīn zǐ ,
The name of the first is Pishon: it flows through the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
并且那地的金子是好的;在那里又有珍珠和红玛瑙。
bìng qiě nà dì de jīn zǐ shì hǎo de ; zài nà lǐ yòu yǒu zhēn zhū hé hóng mǎ nǎo 。
and the gold of that land is good. Bdellium and onyx stone are also there.
第二道河名叫基训,就是环绕古实全地的。
dì èr dào hé míng jiào jī xùn , jiù shì huán rào gǔ shí quán dì de 。
The name of the second river is Gihon. It is the same river that flows through the whole land of Cush.
第三道河名叫底格里斯,流在亚述的东边。第四道河就是幼发拉底河。
dì sān dào hé míng jiào dǐ gé lǐ sī , liú zài yà shù de dōng biān 。 dì sì dào hé jiù shì yòu fā lā dǐ hé 。
The name of the third river is Hiddekel. This is the one which flows in front of Assyria. The fourth river is the Euphrates.
耶和华 神将那人安置在伊甸园,使他修理,看守。
yē hé huá shén jiāng nà rén ān zhì zài yī diàn yuán , shǐ tā xiū lǐ , kān shǒu 。
The LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate and keep it.
耶和华 神吩咐他说:「园中各样树上的果子,你可以随意吃,
yē hé huá shén fēn fù tā shuō :「 yuán zhōng gè yàng shù shàng de guǒ zǐ , nǐ kě yǐ suí yì chī ,
The LORD God commanded the man, saying, “You may freely eat of every tree of the garden;
只是分别善恶树上的果子,你不可吃,因为你吃的日子必定死!」
zhǐ shì fēn bié shàn è shù shàng de guǒ zǐ , nǐ bù kě chī , yīn wèi nǐ chī de rì zi bì dìng sǐ !」
but you shall not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; for in the day that you eat of it, you will surely die.”
耶和华 神说:「那人独居不好,我要为他造一个配偶帮助他。」
yē hé huá shén shuō :「 nà rén dú jū bù hǎo , wǒ yào wèi tā zào yí gè pèi ǒu bāng zhù tā 。」
The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
耶和华 神用土所造成的野地各样走兽和空中各样飞鸟都带到那人面前,看他叫什么。那人怎样叫各样的活物,那就是它的名字。
yē hé huá shén yòng tǔ suǒ zào chéng de yě dì gè yàng zǒu shòu hé kōng zhōng gè yàng fēi niǎo dōu dài dào nà rén miàn qián , kàn tā jiào shén me 。 nà rén zěn yàng jiào gè yàng de huó wù , nà jiù shì tā de míng zì 。
Out of the ground the LORD God formed every animal of the field, and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. Whatever the man called every living creature became its name.
那人便给一切牲畜和空中飞鸟、野地走兽都起了名;只是那人没有遇见配偶帮助他。
nà rén biàn gěi yí qiè shēng chù hé kōng zhōng fēi niǎo 、 yě dì zǒu shòu dōu qǐ le míng ; zhǐ shì nà rén méi yǒu yù jiàn pèi ǒu bāng zhù tā 。
The man gave names to all livestock, and to the birds of the sky, and to every animal of the field; but for man there was not found a helper comparable to him.
耶和华 神使他沉睡,他就睡了;于是取下他的一条肋骨,又把肉合起来。
yē hé huá shén shǐ tā chén shuì , tā jiù shuì le ; yú shì qǔ xià tā de yì tiáo lèi gǔ , yòu bǎ ròu hé qǐ lái 。
The LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. As the man slept, he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.
耶和华 神就用那人身上所取的肋骨造成一个女人,领她到那人跟前。
yē hé huá shén jiù yòng nà rén shēn shàng suǒ qǔ de lèi gǔ zào chéng yí gè nǚ rén , lǐng tā dào nà rén gēn qián 。
The LORD God made a woman from the rib which he had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.
那人说: 这是我骨中的骨, 肉中的肉, 可以称她为「女人」, 因为她是从「男人」身上取出来的。
nà rén shuō : zhè shì wǒ gǔ zhōng de gǔ , ròu zhōng de ròu , kě yǐ chēng tā wèi 「 nǚ rén 」, yīn wèi tā shì cóng 「 nán rén 」 shēn shàng qǔ chū lái de 。
The man said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of Man.”
因此,人要离开父母,与妻子连合,二人成为一体。
yīn cǐ , rén yào lí kāi fù mǔ , yǔ qī zǐ lián hé , èr rén chéng wéi yì tǐ 。
Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh.
当时夫妻二人赤身露体,并不羞耻。
dāng shí fū qī èr rén chì shēn lù tǐ , bìng bù xiū chǐ 。
The man and his wife were both naked, and they were not ashamed.
