wǒ men jì méng liú xià , yǒu jìn rù tā ān xī de yīng xǔ , jiù dāng wèi jù , miǎn de wǒ men zhōng jiàn huò yǒu rén sì hū shì gǎn bú shàng le 。
Let’s fear therefore, lest perhaps anyone of you should seem to have come short of a promise of entering into his rest.
yīn wèi yǒu fú yīn chuán gěi wǒ men , xiàng chuán gěi tā men yí yàng ; zhǐ shì suǒ tīng jiàn de dào yǔ tā men wú yì , yīn wèi tā men méi yǒu xìn xīn yǔ suǒ tīng jiàn de dào tiáo hé 。
For indeed we have had good news preached to us, even as they also did, but the word they heard didn’t profit them, because it wasn’t mixed with faith by those who heard.
dàn wǒ men yǐ jīng xiāng xìn de rén dé yǐ jìn rù nà ān xī , zhèng rú shén suǒ shuō :「 wǒ zài nù zhōng qǐ shì shuō :『 tā men duàn bù kě jìn rù wǒ de ān xī !』」 qí shí zào wù zhī gōng , cóng chuàng shì yǐ lái yǐ jīng chéng quán le 。
For we who have believed do enter into that rest, even as he has said, “As I swore in my wrath, they will not enter into my rest;” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
lùn dào dì qī rì , yǒu yí chù shuō :「 dào dì qī rì , shén jiù xiē le tā yí qiè de gōng 。」
For he has said this somewhere about the seventh day, “God rested on the seventh day from all his works;”
yòu yǒu yí chù shuō :「 tā men duàn bù kě jìn rù wǒ de ān xī !」
and in this place again, “They will not enter into my rest.”
jì yǒu bì jìn ān xī de rén , nà xiān qián tīng jiàn fú yīn de , yīn wèi bú xìn cóng , bù dé jìn qù 。
Seeing therefore it remains that some should enter into it, and they to whom the good news was preached before failed to enter in because of disobedience,
suǒ yǐ guò le duō nián , jiù zài dà wèi de shū shàng , yòu xiàn dìng yí rì , rú yǐ shàng suǒ yǐn de shuō :「 nǐ men jīn rì ruò tīng tā de huà , jiù bù kě yìng zhe xīn 。」
he again defines a certain day, “today”, saying through David so long a time afterward (just as has been said), “Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts.”
ruò shì yuē shū yà yǐ jiào tā men xiǎng le ān xī , hòu lái shén jiù bú zài tí bié de rì zi le 。
For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterward of another day.
zhè yàng kàn lái , bì lìng yǒu yì ān xī rì de ān xī wèi shén de zǐ mín cún liú 。
There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God.
yīn wèi nà jìn rù ān xī de , nǎi shì xiē le zì jǐ de gōng , zhèng rú shén xiē le tā de gōng yí yàng 。
For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
suǒ yǐ , wǒ men wù bì jié lì jìn rù nà ān xī , miǎn de yǒu rén xué nà bú xìn cóng de yàng zi diē dǎo le 。
Let’s therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.
shén de dào shì huó pō de , shì yǒu gōng xiào de , bǐ yí qiè liǎng rèn de jiàn gèng kuài , shèn zhì hún yǔ líng , gǔ jié yǔ gǔ suǐ , dōu néng cì rù 、 pōu kāi , lián xīn zhōng de sī niàn hé zhǔ yì dōu néng biàn míng 。
For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
bìng qiě bèi zào de méi yǒu yí yàng zài tā miàn qián bù xiǎn rán de ; yuán lái wàn wù zài nà yǔ wǒ men yǒu guān xì de zhǔ yǎn qián , dōu shì chì lù chǎng kāi de 。
There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him to whom we must give an account.
wǒ men jì rán yǒu yí wèi yǐ jīng shēng rù gāo tiān zūn róng de dà jì sī , jiù shì shén de ér zi yē sū , biàn dāng chí dìng suǒ chéng rèn de dào 。
Having then a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let’s hold tightly to our confession.
yīn wǒ men de dà jì sī bìng fēi bù néng tǐ xù wǒ men de ruǎn ruò 。 tā yě céng fán shì shòu guò shì tàn , yǔ wǒ men yí yàng , zhǐ shì tā méi yǒu fàn zuì 。
For we don’t have a high priest who can’t be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.
suǒ yǐ , wǒ men zhǐ guǎn tǎn rán wú jù dì lái dào shī ēn de bǎo zuò qián , wèi yào dé lián xù , méng ēn huì , zuò suí shí de bāng zhù 。
Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.
