bā bǐ lún de chǔ nǚ a , xià lái zuò zài chén āi ; jiā lè dǐ de guī nǚ a , méi yǒu bǎo zuò , yào zuò zài dì shàng ; yīn wèi nǐ bú zài chēng wéi róu ruò jiāo nèn de 。

“Come down and sit in the dust, virgin daughter of Babylon. Sit on the ground without a throne, daughter of the Chaldeans. For you will no longer be called tender and delicate.

yào yòng mó mó miàn , jiē qù pà zǐ , tuō qù cháng yī , lù tuǐ tàng hé 。

Take the millstones and grind flour. Remove your veil, lift up your skirt, uncover your legs, and wade through the rivers.

nǐ de xià tǐ bì bèi lù chū ; nǐ de chǒu lòu bì bèi kàn jiàn 。 wǒ yào bào chóu , shuí yě bù kuān róng 。

Your nakedness will be uncovered. Yes, your shame will be seen. I will take vengeance, and will spare no one.”

wǒ men jiù shú zhǔ de míng shì wàn jūn zhī yē hé huá — yǐ sè liè de shèng zhě 。

Our Redeemer, the LORD of Armies is his name, is the Holy One of Israel.

jiā lè dǐ de guī nǚ a , nǐ yào mò rán jìng zuò , jìn rù àn zhōng , yīn wèi nǐ bú zài chēng wéi liè guó de zhǔ mǔ 。

“Sit in silence, and go into darkness, daughter of the Chaldeans. For you shall no longer be called the mistress of kingdoms.

wǒ xiàng wǒ de bǎi xìng fā nù , shǐ wǒ de chǎn yè bèi xiè dú , jiāng tā men jiāo zài nǐ shǒu zhōng , nǐ háo bù lián mǐn tā men , bǎ jí zhòng de è jiā zài lǎo nián rén shēn shàng 。

I was angry with my people. I profaned my inheritance and gave them into your hand. You showed them no mercy. You laid a very heavy yoke on the aged.

nǐ zì jǐ shuō : wǒ bì yǒng wéi zhǔ mǔ , suǒ yǐ nǐ bù jiāng zhè shì fàng zài xīn shàng , yě bù sī xiǎng zhè shì de jié jú 。

You said, ‘I will be a princess forever,’ so that you didn’t lay these things to your heart, nor did you remember the results.

nǐ zhè zhuān hǎo yàn lè 、 ān rán jū zhù de , xiàn zài dāng tīng zhè huà 。 nǐ xīn zhōng shuō : wéi yǒu wǒ , chú wǒ yǐ wài zài méi yǒu bié de 。 wǒ bì bú zhì guǎ jū , yě bù zāo sàng zǐ zhī shì 。

“Now therefore hear this, you who are given to pleasures, who sit securely, who say in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me. I won’t sit as a widow, neither will I know the loss of children.’

nǎ zhī , sàng zǐ 、 guǎ jū zhè liǎng jiàn shì zài yí rì zhuǎn yǎn zhī jiān bì lín dào nǐ ; zhèng zài nǐ duō háng xié shù 、 guǎng shī fú zhòu de shí hòu , zhè liǎng jiàn shì bì quán rán lín dào nǐ shēn shàng 。

But these two things will come to you in a moment in one day: the loss of children and widowhood. They will come on you in their full measure, in the multitude of your sorceries, and the great abundance of your enchantments.

使

nǐ sù lái yǐ zhàng zì jǐ de è xíng , shuō : wú rén kàn jiàn wǒ 。 nǐ de zhì huì cōng ming shǐ nǐ piān xié , bìng qiě nǐ xīn lǐ shuō : wéi yǒu wǒ , chú wǒ yǐ wài zài méi yǒu bié de 。

For you have trusted in your wickedness. You have said, ‘No one sees me.’ Your wisdom and your knowledge has perverted you. You have said in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me.’

yīn cǐ , huò huàn yào lín dào nǐ shēn ; nǐ bù zhī hé shí fā xiàn zāi hài luò zài nǐ shēn shàng , nǐ yě bù néng chú diào ; suǒ bù zhī dào de huǐ miè yě bì hū rán lín dào nǐ shēn 。

Therefore disaster will come on you. You won’t know when it dawns. Mischief will fall on you. You won’t be able to put it away. Desolation will come on you suddenly, which you don’t understand.

zhàn qǐ lái ba ! yòng nǐ cóng yòu nián láo shén shī xíng de fú zhòu hé nǐ xǔ duō de xié shù ; huò zhě kě dé yì chù , huò zhě kě dé qiáng shèng 。

“Stand now with your enchantments and with the multitude of your sorceries, in which you have labored from your youth, as if you might profit, as if you might prevail.

宿

nǐ chóu huà tài duō , yǐ zhì pí juàn 。 ràng nà xiē guān tiān xiàng de , kàn xīng xiù de , zài yuè shuò shuō yù yán de , dōu zhàn qǐ lái , jiù nǐ tuō lí suǒ yào lín dào nǐ de shì 。

You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels. Now let the astrologers, the stargazers, and the monthly prognosticators stand up and save you from the things that will happen to you.

tā men yào xiàng suì jiē bèi huǒ fén shāo , bù néng jiù zì jǐ tuō lí huǒ yàn zhī lì ; zhè huǒ bìng fēi kě kǎo de tàn huǒ , yě bú shì kě yǐ zuò zài qí qián de huǒ 。

Behold, they are like stubble. The fire will burn them. They won’t deliver themselves from the power of the flame. It won’t be a coal to warm at or a fire to sit by.

nǐ suǒ láo shén de shì dōu yào zhè yàng yǔ nǐ wú yì ; cóng yòu nián yǔ nǐ mào yì de yě dōu gè bēn gè xiāng , wú rén jiù nǐ 。

The things that you labored in will be like this: those who have trafficked with you from your youth will each wander in his own way. There will be no one to save you.
