约翰福音 3

有一个法利赛人，名叫尼哥德慕，是犹太人的官。

yǒu yí gè fǎ lì sài rén ， míng jiào ní gē dé mù ， shì yóu tài rén de guān 。

Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.

这人夜里来见耶稣，说：「拉比，我们知道你是由 神那里来作师傅的；因为你所行的神迹，若没有 神同在，无人能行。」

zhè rén yè lǐ lái jiàn yē sū ， shuō ：「 lā bǐ ， wǒ men zhī dào nǐ shì yóu shén nà lǐ lái zuò shī fu de ； yīn wèi nǐ suǒ xíng de shén jì ， ruò méi yǒu shén tóng zài ， wú rén néng xíng 。」

He came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do, unless God is with him.”

耶稣回答说：「我实实在在地告诉你，人若不重生，就不能见 神的国。」

yē sū huí dá shuō ：「 wǒ shí shí zài zài dì gào sù nǐ ， rén ruò bú chóng shēng ， jiù bù néng jiàn shén de guó 。」

Jesus answered him, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can’t see God’s Kingdom.”

尼哥德慕说：「人已经老了，如何能重生呢？岂能再进母腹生出来吗？」

ní gē dé mù shuō ：「 rén yǐ jīng lǎo le ， rú hé néng chóng shēng ne ？ qǐ néng zài jìn mǔ fù shēng chū lái ma ？」

Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

耶稣说：「我实实在在地告诉你，人若不是从水和圣灵生的，就不能进 神的国。

yē sū shuō ：「 wǒ shí shí zài zài dì gào sù nǐ ， rén ruò bú shì cóng shuǐ hé shèng líng shēng de ， jiù bù néng jìn shén de guó 。

Jesus answered, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and Spirit, he can’t enter into God’s Kingdom.

从肉身生的就是肉身；从灵生的就是灵。

cóng ròu shēn shēng de jiù shì ròu shēn ； cóng líng shēng de jiù shì líng 。

That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

我说：『你们必须重生』，你不要以为希奇。

wǒ shuō ：『 nǐ men bì xū chóng shēng 』， nǐ bú yào yǐ wéi xī qí 。

Don’t marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born anew.’

风随着意思吹，你听见风的响声，却不晓得从哪里来，往哪里去；凡从圣灵生的，也是如此。」

fēng suí zhuó yì sī chuī ， nǐ tīng jiàn fēng de xiǎng shēng ， què bù xiǎo dé cóng nǎ lǐ lái ， wǎng nǎ lǐ qù ； fán cóng shèng líng shēng de ， yě shì rú cǐ 。」

The wind blows where it wants to, and you hear its sound, but don’t know where it comes from and where it is going. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

尼哥德慕问他说：「怎能有这事呢？」

ní gē dé mù wèn tā shuō ：「 zěn néng yǒu zhè shì ne ？」

Nicodemus answered him, “How can these things be?”

耶稣回答说：「你是以色列人的先生，还不明白这事吗？

yē sū huí dá shuō ：「 nǐ shì yǐ sè liè rén de xiān shēng ， hái bù míng bái zhè shì ma ？

Jesus answered him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and don’t understand these things?

我实实在在地告诉你，我们所说的是我们知道的；我们所见证的是我们见过的；你们却不领受我们的见证。

wǒ shí shí zài zài dì gào sù nǐ ， wǒ men suǒ shuō de shì wǒ men zhī dào de ； wǒ men suǒ jiàn zhèng de shì wǒ men jiàn guò de ； nǐ men què bù lǐng shòu wǒ men de jiàn zhèng 。

Most certainly I tell you, we speak that which we know and testify of that which we have seen, and you don’t receive our witness.

我对你们说地上的事，你们尚且不信，若说天上的事，如何能信呢？

wǒ duì nǐ men shuō dì shàng de shì ， nǐ men shàng qiě bú xìn ， ruò shuō tiān shàng de shì ， rú hé néng xìn ne ？

If I told you earthly things and you don’t believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?

除了从天降下、仍旧在天的人子，没有人升过天。

chú le cóng tiān jiàng xià 、 réng jiù zài tiān de rén zǐ ， méi yǒu rén shēng guò tiān 。

No one has ascended into heaven but he who descended out of heaven, the Son of Man, who is in heaven.

摩西在旷野怎样举蛇，人子也必照样被举起来，

mó xī zài kuàng yě zěn yàng jǔ shé ， rén zǐ yě bì zhào yàng bèi jǔ qǐ lái ，

As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,

叫一切信他的都得永生 。

jiào yí qiè xìn tā de dōu dé yǒng shēng 。

that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

「 神爱世人，甚至将他的独生子赐给他们，叫一切信他的，不致灭亡，反得永生。

「 shén ài shì rén ， shèn zhì jiāng tā de dú shēng zǐ cì gěi tā men ， jiào yí qiè xìn tā de ， bú zhì miè wáng ， fǎn dé yǒng shēng 。

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

因为 神差他的儿子降世，不是要定世人的罪 ，乃是要叫世人因他得救。

yīn wèi shén chà tā de ér zǐ jiàng shì ， bú shì yào dìng shì rén de zuì ， nǎi shì yào jiào shì rén yīn tā dé jiù 。

For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

信他的人，不被定罪；不信的人，罪已经定了，因为他不信 神独生子的名。

xìn tā de rén ， bú bèi dìng zuì ； bú xìn de rén ， zuì yǐ jīng dìng le ， yīn wèi tā bú xìn shén dú shēng zǐ de míng 。

He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only born Son of God.

光来到世间，世人因自己的行为是恶的，不爱光，倒爱黑暗，定他们的罪就是在此。

guāng lái dào shì jiān ， shì rén yīn zì jǐ de xíng wèi shì è de ， bú ài guāng ， dǎo ài hēi àn ， dìng tā men de zuì jiù shì zài cǐ 。

This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light, for their works were evil.

凡作恶的便恨光，并不来就光，恐怕他的行为受责备。

fán zuò è de biàn hèn guāng ， bìng bù lái jiù guāng ， kǒng pà tā de xíng wéi shòu zé bèi 。

For everyone who does evil hates the light and doesn’t come to the light, lest his works would be exposed.

但行真理的必来就光，要显明他所行的是靠 神而行。」

dàn xíng zhēn lǐ de bì lái jiù guāng ， yào xiǎn míng tā suǒ xíng de shì kào shén ér xíng 。」

But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God.”

这事以后，耶稣和门徒到了犹太地，在那里居住，施洗。

zhè shì yǐ hòu ， yē sū hé mén tú dào le yóu tài dì ， zài nà lǐ jū zhù ， shī xǐ 。

After these things, Jesus came with his disciples into the land of Judea. He stayed there with them and baptized.

约翰在靠近撒冷的哀嫩也施洗；因为那里水多，众人都去受洗。（

yuē hàn zài kào jìn sā lěng de āi nèn yě shī xǐ ； yīn wèi nà lǐ shuǐ duō ， zhòng rén dōu qù shòu xǐ 。（

John also was baptizing in Enon near Salim, because there was much water there. They came and were baptized;

那时约翰还没有下在监里。）

nà shí yuē hàn hái méi yǒu xià zài jiān lǐ 。）

for John was not yet thrown into prison.

约翰的门徒和一个犹太人辩论洁净的礼，

yuē hàn de mén tú hé yí gè yóu tài rén biàn lùn jié jìng de lǐ ，

Therefore a dispute arose on the part of John’s disciples with some Jews about purification.

就来见约翰，说：「拉比，从前同你在约旦河外、你所见证的那位，现在施洗，众人都往他那里去了。」

jiù lái jiàn yuē hàn ， shuō ：「 lā bǐ ， cóng qián tóng nǐ zài yuē dàn hé wài 、 nǐ suǒ jiàn zhèng de nà wèi ， xiàn zài shī xǐ ， zhòng rén dōu wǎng tā nà lǐ qù le 。」

They came to John and said to him, “Rabbi, he who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified, behold, he baptizes, and everyone is coming to him.”

约翰说：「若不是从天上赐的，人就不能得什么。

yuē hàn shuō ：「 ruò bú shì cóng tiān shàng cì de ， rén jiù bù néng dé shén me 。

John answered, “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given him from heaven.

我曾说：『我不是基督，是奉差遣在他前面的』，你们自己可以给我作见证。

wǒ céng shuō ：『 wǒ bú shì jī dū ， shì fèng chāi qiǎn zài tā qián miàn de 』， nǐ men zì jǐ kě yǐ gěi wǒ zuò jiàn zhèng 。

You yourselves testify that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ but, ‘I have been sent before him.’

娶新妇的就是新郎；新郎的朋友站着，听见新郎的声音就甚喜乐。故此，我这喜乐满足了。

qǔ xīn fù de jiù shì xīn láng ； xīn láng de péng yǒu zhàn zhe ， tīng jiàn xīn láng de shēng yīn jiù shèn xǐ lè 。 gù cǐ ， wǒ zhè xǐ lè mǎn zú le 。

He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore my joy is made full.

他必兴旺，我必衰微。」

tā bì xīng wàng ， wǒ bì shuāi wēi 。」

He must increase, but I must decrease.

「从天上来的是在万有之上；从地上来的是属乎地，他所说的也是属乎地。从天上来的是在万有之上。

「 cóng tiān shàng lái de shì zài wàn yǒu zhī shàng ； cóng dì shàng lái de shì shǔ hū dì ， tā suǒ shuō de yě shì shǔ hū dì 。 cóng tiān shàng lái de shì zài wàn yǒu zhī shàng 。

“He who comes from above is above all. He who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.

他将所见所闻的见证出来，只是没有人领受他的见证。

tā jiāng suǒ jiàn suǒ wén de jiàn zhèng chū lái ， zhǐ shì méi yǒu rén lǐng shòu tā de jiàn zhèng 。

What he has seen and heard, of that he testifies; and no one receives his witness.

那领受他见证的，就印上印，证明 神是真的。

nà lǐng shòu tā jiàn zhèng de ， jiù yìn shàng yìn ， zhèng míng shén shì zhēn de 。

He who has received his witness has set his seal to this, that God is true.

神所差来的就说 神的话，因为 神赐圣灵给他是没有限量的。

shén suǒ chà lái de jiù shuō shén de huà ， yīn wèi shén cì shèng líng gěi tā shì méi yǒu xiàn liàng de 。

For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for God gives the Spirit without measure.

父爱子，已将万有交在他手里。

fù ài zǐ ， yǐ jiāng wàn yǒu jiāo zài tā shǒu lǐ 。

The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand.

信子的人有永生；不信子的人得不着永生 ， 神的震怒常在他身上。」

xìn zǐ de rén yǒu yǒng shēng ； bú xìn zǐ de rén dé bù zhe yǒng shēng ， shén de zhèn nù cháng zài tā shēn shàng 。」

One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”
