约书亚记 23:13

你们要确实知道，耶和华—你们的 神必不再将他们从你们眼前赶出；他们却要成为你们的网罗、机槛、肋上的鞭、眼中的刺，直到你们在耶和华—你们 神所赐的这美地上灭亡。

nǐ men yào què shí zhī dào ， yē hé huá — nǐ men de shén bì bú zài jiāng tā men cóng nǐ men yǎn qián gǎn chū ； tā men què yào chéng wéi nǐ men de wǎng luó 、 jī kǎn 、 lèi shàng de biān 、 yǎn zhōng de cì ， zhí dào nǐ men zài yē hé huá — nǐ men shén suǒ cì de zhè měi dì shang miè wáng 。

know for a certainty that the LORD your God will no longer drive these nations from out of your sight; but they shall be a snare and a trap to you, a scourge in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from off this good land which the LORD your God has given you.
