约书亚记 7

以色列人在当灭的物上犯了罪；因为犹大支派中，谢拉的曾孙，撒底的孙子，迦米的儿子亚干取了当灭的物；耶和华的怒气就向以色列人发作。

yǐ sè liè rén zài dāng miè de wù shàng fàn le zuì ； yīn wèi yóu dà zhī pài zhōng ， xiè lā de zēng sūn ， sā dǐ de sūn zi ， jiā mǐ de ér zǐ yà gān qǔ le dāng miè de wù ； yē hé huá de nù qì jiù xiàng yǐ sè liè rén fā zuò 。

But the children of Israel committed a trespass in the devoted things; for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took some of the devoted things. Therefore the LORD’s anger burned against the children of Israel.

当下，约书亚从耶利哥打发人往伯特利东边、靠近伯·亚文的艾城去，吩咐他们说：「你们上去窥探那地。」他们就上去窥探艾城。

dāng xià ， yuē shū yà cóng yē lì gē dǎ fā rén wǎng bó tè lì dōng biān 、 kào jìn bó · yà wén de ài chéng qù ， fēn fù tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men shàng qù kuī tàn nà dì 。」 tā men jiù shàng qù kuī tàn ài chéng 。

Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Beth Aven, on the east side of Bethel, and spoke to them, saying, “Go up and spy out the land.” The men went up and spied out Ai.

他们回到约书亚那里，对他说：「众民不必都上去，只要二三千人上去就能攻取艾城；不必劳累众民都去，因为那里的人少。」

tā men huí dào yuē shū yà nà lǐ ， duì tā shuō ：「 zhòng mín bú bì dōu shàng qù ， zhǐ yào èr sān qiān rén shàng qù jiù néng gōng qǔ ài chéng ； bú bì láo lèi zhòng mín dōu qù ， yīn wèi nà lǐ de rén shǎo 。」

They returned to Joshua, and said to him, “Don’t let all the people go up, but let about two or three thousand men go up and strike Ai. Don’t make all the people to toil there, for there are only a few of them.”

于是民中约有三千人上那里去，竟在艾城人面前逃跑了。

yú shì mín zhōng yuē yǒu sān qiān rén shàng nà lǐ qù ， jìng zài ài chéng rén miàn qián táo pǎo le 。

So about three thousand men of the people went up there, and they fled before the men of Ai.

艾城的人击杀了他们三十六人，从城门前追赶他们，直到示巴琳，在下坡杀败他们；众民的心就消化如水。

ài chéng de rén jī shā le tā men sān shí liù rén ， cóng chéng mén qián zhuī gǎn tā men ， zhí dào shì bā lín ， zài xià pō shā bài tā men ； zhòng mín de xīn jiù xiāo huà rú shuǐ 。

The men of Ai struck about thirty-six men of them. They chased them from before the gate even to Shebarim, and struck them at the descent. The hearts of the people melted, and became like water.

约书亚便撕裂衣服；他和以色列的长老把灰撒在头上，在耶和华的约柜前俯伏在地，直到晚上。

yuē shū yà biàn sī liè yī fu ； tā hé yǐ sè liè de zhǎng lǎo bǎ huī sā zài tóu shàng ， zài yē hé huá de yuē guì qián fǔ fú zài dì ， zhí dào wǎn shàng 。

Joshua tore his clothes, and fell to the earth on his face before the LORD’s ark until the evening, he and the elders of Israel; and they put dust on their heads.

约书亚说：「哀哉！主耶和华啊，你为什么竟领这百姓过约旦河，将我们交在亚摩利人的手中，使我们灭亡呢？我们不如住在约旦河那边倒好。

yuē shū yà shuō ：「 āi zāi ！ zhǔ yē hé huá a ， nǐ wèi shén me jìng lǐng zhè bǎi xìng guò yuē dàn hé ， jiāng wǒ men jiāo zài yà mó lì rén de shǒu zhōng ， shǐ wǒ men miè wáng ne ？ wǒ men bù rú zhù zài yuē dàn hé nà biān dǎo hǎo 。

Joshua said, “Alas, Lord GOD, why have you brought this people over the Jordan at all, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to cause us to perish? I wish that we had been content and lived beyond the Jordan!

主啊，以色列人既在仇敌面前转背逃跑，我还有什么可说的呢？

zhǔ a ， yǐ sè liè rén jì zài chóu dí miàn qián zhuǎn bèi táo pǎo ， wǒ hái yǒu shén me kě shuō de ne ？

Oh, Lord, what shall I say, after Israel has turned their backs before their enemies?

迦南人和这地一切的居民听见了就必围困我们，将我们的名从地上除灭。那时你为你的大名要怎样行呢？」

jiā nán rén hé zhè dì yí qiè de jū mín tīng jiàn le jiù bì wéi kùn wǒ men ， jiāng wǒ men de míng cóng dì shàng chú miè 。 nà shí nǐ wèi nǐ de dà míng yào zěn yàng xíng ne ？」

For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land will hear of it, and will surround us, and cut off our name from the earth. What will you do for your great name?”

耶和华吩咐约书亚说：「起来！你为何这样俯伏在地呢？

yē hé huá fēn fù yuē shū yà shuō ：「 qǐ lái ！ nǐ wèi hé zhè yàng fǔ fú zài dì ne ？

The LORD said to Joshua, “Get up! Why have you fallen on your face like that?

以色列人犯了罪，违背了我所吩咐他们的约，取了当灭的物；又偷窃，又行诡诈，又把那当灭的放在他们的家具里。

yǐ sè liè rén fàn le zuì ， wéi bèi le wǒ suǒ fēn fù tā men de yuē ， qǔ le dāng miè de wù ； yòu tōu qiè ， yòu xíng guǐ zhà ， yòu bǎ nà dāng miè de fàng zài tā men de jiā jù lǐ 。

Israel has sinned. Yes, they have even transgressed my covenant which I commanded them. Yes, they have even taken some of the devoted things, and have also stolen, and also deceived. They have even put it among their own stuff.

因此，以色列人在仇敌面前站立不住。他们在仇敌面前转背逃跑，是因成了被咒诅的；你们若不把当灭的物从你们中间除掉，我就不再与你们同在了。

yīn cǐ ， yǐ sè liè rén zài chóu dí miàn qián zhàn lì bú zhù 。 tā men zài chóu dí miàn qián zhuǎn bèi táo pǎo ， shì yīn chéng le bèi zhòu zǔ de ； nǐ men ruò bù bǎ dāng miè de wù cóng nǐ men zhōng jiān chú diào ， wǒ jiù bú zài yǔ nǐ men tóng zài le 。

Therefore the children of Israel can’t stand before their enemies. They turn their backs before their enemies, because they have become devoted for destruction. I will not be with you any more, unless you destroy the devoted things from among you.

你起来，叫百姓自洁，对他们说：『你们要自洁，预备明天，因为耶和华—以色列的 神这样说：以色列啊，你们中间有当灭的物，你们若不除掉，在仇敌面前必站立不住！』

nǐ qǐ lái ， jiào bǎi xìng zì jié ， duì tā men shuō ：『 nǐ men yào zì jié ， yù bèi míng tiān ， yīn wèi yē hé huá — yǐ sè liè de shén zhè yàng shuō ： yǐ sè liè a ， nǐ men zhōng jiān yǒu dāng miè de wù ， nǐ men ruò bù chú diào ， zài chóu dí miàn qián bì zhàn lì bú zhù ！』

Get up! Sanctify the people, and say, ‘Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow, for the LORD, the God of Israel, says, “There is a devoted thing among you, Israel. You cannot stand before your enemies until you take away the devoted thing from among you.”

到了早晨，你们要按着支派近前来；耶和华所取的支派，要按着宗族近前来；耶和华所取的宗族，要按着家室近前来；耶和华所取的家室，要按着人丁，一个一个地近前来。

dào le zǎo chén ， nǐ men yào àn zhe zhī pài jìn qián lái ； yē hé huá suǒ qǔ de zhī pài ， yào àn zhe zōng zú jìn qián lái ； yē hé huá suǒ qǔ de zōng zú ， yào àn zhe jiā shì jìn qián lái ； yē hé huá suǒ qǔ de jiā shì ， yào àn zhe rén dīng ， yí gè yi gè dì jìn qián lái 。

In the morning therefore you shall be brought near by your tribes. It shall be that the tribe which the LORD selects shall come near by families. The family which the LORD selects shall come near by households. The household which the LORD selects shall come near man by man.

被取的人有当灭的物在他那里，他和他所有的必被火焚烧；因他违背了耶和华的约，又因他在以色列中行了愚妄的事。」

bèi qǔ de rén yǒu dāng miè de wù zài tā nà lǐ ， tā hé tā suǒ yǒu de bì bèi huǒ fén shāo ； yīn tā wéi bèi le yē hé huá de yuē ， yòu yīn tā zài yǐ sè liè zhōng háng le yú wàng de shì 。」

It shall be, that he who is taken with the devoted thing shall be burned with fire, he and all that he has, because he has transgressed the LORD’s covenant, and because he has done a disgraceful thing in Israel.’”

于是，约书亚清早起来，使以色列人按着支派近前来，取出来的是犹大支派；

yú shì ， yuē shū yà qīng zǎo qǐ lái ， shǐ yǐ sè liè rén àn zhe zhī pài jìn qián lái ， qǔ chū lái de shì yóu dà zhī pài ；

So Joshua rose up early in the morning and brought Israel near by their tribes. The tribe of Judah was selected.

使犹大支派 近前来，就取了谢拉的宗族；使谢拉的宗族，按着家室人丁，一个一个地近前来，取出来的是撒底；

shǐ yóu dà zhī pài jìn qián lái ， jiù qǔ le xiè lā de zōng zú ； shǐ xiè lā de zōng zú ， àn zhe jiā shì rén dīng ， yí gè yi gè dì jìn qián lái ， qǔ chū lái de shì sā dǐ ；

He brought near the family of Judah, and he selected the family of the Zerahites. He brought near the family of the Zerahites man by man, and Zabdi was selected.

使撒底的家室，按着人丁，一个一个地近前来，就取出犹大支派的人谢拉的曾孙，撒底的孙子，迦米的儿子亚干。

shǐ sā dǐ de jiā shì ， àn zhe rén dīng ， yí gè yi gè dì jìn qián lái ， jiù qǔ chū yóu dà zhī pài de rén xiè lā de zēng sūn ， sā dǐ de sūn zi ， jiā mǐ de ér zi yà gān 。

He brought near his household man by man, and Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, was selected.

约书亚对亚干说：「我儿，我劝你将荣耀归给耶和华—以色列的 神，在他面前认罪，将你所做的事告诉我，不要向我隐瞒。」

yuē shū yà duì yà gān shuō ：「 wǒ ér ， wǒ quàn nǐ jiāng róng yào guī gěi yē hé huá — yǐ sè liè de shén ， zài tā miàn qián rèn zuì ， jiāng nǐ suǒ zuò de shì gào sù wǒ ， bú yào xiàng wǒ yǐn mán 。」

Joshua said to Achan, “My son, please give glory to the LORD, the God of Israel, and make confession to him. Tell me now what you have done! Don’t hide it from me!”

亚干回答约书亚说：「我实在得罪了耶和华—以色列的 神。我所做的事如此如此：

yà gān huí dá yuē shū yà shuō ：「 wǒ shí zài dé zuì le yē hé huá — yǐ sè liè de shén 。 wǒ suǒ zuò de shì rú cǐ rú cǐ ：

Achan answered Joshua, and said, “I have truly sinned against the LORD, the God of Israel, and this is what I have done.

我在所夺的财物中看见一件美好的示拿衣服，二百舍客勒银子，一条金子重五十舍客勒，我就贪爱这些物件，便拿去了。现今藏在我帐棚内的地里，银子在衣服底下。」

wǒ zài suǒ duó de cái wù zhōng kàn jiàn yí jiàn měi hǎo de shì ná yī fu ， èr bǎi shè kè lè yín zi ， yì tiáo jīn zǐ zhòng wǔ shí shè kè lè ， wǒ jiù tān ài zhè xiē wù jiàn ， biàn ná qù le 。 xiàn jīn cáng zài wǒ zhàng péng nèi de dì lǐ ， yín zi zài yī fu dǐ xià 。」

When I saw among the plunder a beautiful Babylonian robe, two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold weighing fifty shekels, then I coveted them and took them. Behold, they are hidden in the ground in the middle of my tent, with the silver under it.”

约书亚就打发人跑到亚干的帐棚里。那件衣服果然藏在他帐棚内，银子在底下。

yuē shū yà jiù dǎ fā rén pǎo dào yà gān de zhàng péng lǐ 。 nà jiàn yī fu guǒ rán cáng zài tā zhàng péng nèi ， yín zi zài dǐ xià 。

So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran to the tent. Behold, it was hidden in his tent, with the silver under it.

他们就从帐棚里取出来，拿到约书亚和以色列众人那里，放在耶和华面前。

tā men jiù cóng zhàng péng lǐ qǔ chū lái ， ná dào yuē shū yà hé yǐ sè liè zhòng rén nà lǐ ， fàng zài yē hé huá miàn qián 。

They took them from the middle of the tent, and brought them to Joshua and to all the children of Israel. They laid them down before the LORD.

约书亚和以色列众人把谢拉的曾孙亚干和那银子、那件衣服、那条金子，并亚干的儿女、牛、驴、羊、帐棚，以及他所有的，都带到亚割谷去。

yuē shū yà hé yǐ sè liè zhòng rén bǎ xiè lā de céng sūn yà gān hé nà yín zi 、 nà jiàn yī fu 、 nà tiáo jīn zǐ ， bìng yà gān de ér nǚ 、 niú 、 lǘ 、 yáng 、 zhàng péng ， yǐ jí tā suǒ yǒu de ， dōu dài dào yà gē gǔ qù 。

Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, the silver, the robe, the wedge of gold, his sons, his daughters, his cattle, his donkeys, his sheep, his tent, and all that he had; and they brought them up to the valley of Achor.

约书亚说：「你为什么连累我们呢？今日耶和华必叫你受连累。」于是以色列众人用石头打死他，将石头扔在其上，又用火焚烧他所有的 。

yuē shū yà shuō ：「 nǐ wèi shén me lián lèi wǒ men ne ？ jīn rì yē hé huá bì jiào nǐ shòu lián lèi 。」 yú shì yǐ sè liè zhòng rén yòng shí tou dǎ sǐ tā ， jiāng shí tou rēng zài qí shàng ， yòu yòng huǒ fén shāo tā suǒ yǒu de 。

Joshua said, “Why have you troubled us? The LORD will trouble you today.” All Israel stoned him with stones, and they burned them with fire and stoned them with stones.

众人在亚干身上堆成一大堆石头，直存到今日。于是耶和华转意，不发他的烈怒。因此那地方名叫亚割谷 ，直到今日。

zhòng rén zài yà gān shēn shàng duī chéng yí dà duī shí tou ， zhí cún dào jīn rì 。 yú shì yē hé huá zhuǎn yì ， bù fā tā de liè nù 。 yīn cǐ nà dì fāng míng jiào yà gē gǔ ， zhí dào jīn rì 。

They raised over him a great heap of stones that remains to this day. The LORD turned from the fierceness of his anger. Therefore the name of that place was called “The valley of Achor” to this day.
