照着他们始祖以色列之子但的名字，给那城起名叫但；原先那城名叫拉亿。
zhào zhe tā men shǐ zǔ yǐ sè liè zhī zǐ dàn de míng zi ， gěi nà chéng qǐ míng jiào dàn ； yuán xiān nà chéng míng jiào lā yì 。
They called the name of the city Dan, after the name of Dan their father, who was born to Israel; however the name of the city used to be Laish.
