也没有人把新酒装在旧皮袋里；若是这样，皮袋就裂开，酒漏出来，连皮袋也坏了。惟独把新酒装在新皮袋里，两样就都保全了。」

yě méi yǒu rén bǎ xīn jiǔ zhuāng zài jiù pí dài lǐ ； ruò shì zhè yàng ， pí dài jiù liè kāi ， jiǔ lòu chū lái ， lián pí dài yě huài le 。 wéi dú bǎ xīn jiǔ zhuāng zài xīn pí dài lǐ ， liǎng yàng jiù dōu bǎo quán le 。」

Neither do people put new wine into old wineskins, or else the skins would burst, and the wine be spilled, and the skins ruined. No, they put new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.”
