yǐ sè liè rén àn zhe jūn duì , zài mó xī 、 yà lún de shǒu xià chū āi jí dì suǒ xíng de lù chéng jì zài xià miàn 。

These are the journeys of the children of Israel, when they went out of the land of Egypt by their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.

mó xī zūn zhe yē hé huá de fēn fù jì zǎi tā men suǒ xíng de lù chéng , qí lù chéng nǎi shì zhè yàng :

Moses wrote the starting points of their journeys by the commandment of the LORD. These are their journeys according to their starting points.

zhēng yuè shí wǔ rì , jiù shì yú yuè jié de cì rì , yǐ sè liè rén cóng lán sāi qǐ xíng , zài yí qiè āi jí rén yǎn qián áng rán wú jù dì chū qù 。

They traveled from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the next day after the Passover, the children of Israel went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians,

nà shí , āi jí rén zhèng zàng mái tā men de zhǎng zǐ , jiù shì yē hé huá zài tā men zhōng jiān suǒ jī shā de ; yē hé huá yě bài huài tā men de shén 。

while the Egyptians were burying all their firstborn, whom the LORD had struck among them. The LORD also executed judgments on their gods.

yǐ sè liè rén cóng lán sāi qǐ xíng , ān yíng zài shū gē 。

The children of Israel traveled from Rameses, and encamped in Succoth.

cóng shū gē qǐ xíng , ān yíng zài kuàng yě biān de yǐ tǎng 。

They traveled from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.

They traveled from Etham, and turned back to Pihahiroth, which is before Baal Zephon, and they encamped before Migdol.

cóng bǐ hā · xī lù duì miàn qǐ xíng , jīng guò hǎi zhōng dào le shū ěr kuàng yě , yòu zài yī tǎn de kuàng yě zǒu le sān tiān de lù chéng , jiù ān yíng zài mǎ lā 。

They traveled from before Hahiroth, and crossed through the middle of the sea into the wilderness. They went three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham, and encamped in Marah.

cóng mǎ lā qǐ xíng , lái dào yǐ lín ( yǐ lín yǒu shí èr gǔ shuǐ quán , qī shí kē zōng shù ), jiù zài nà lǐ ān yíng 。

They traveled from Marah, and came to Elim. In Elim, there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees, and they encamped there.

cóng yǐ lín qǐ xíng , ān yíng zài hóng hǎi biān 。

They traveled from Elim, and encamped by the Red Sea.

cóng hóng hǎi biān qǐ xíng , ān yíng zài xùn de kuàng yě 。

They traveled from the Red Sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.

cóng xùn de kuàng yě qǐ xíng , ān yíng zài tuō jiā 。

They traveled from the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.

cóng tuō jiā qǐ xíng , ān yíng zài yà lù 。

Aaron the priest went up into Mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.

Aaron was one hundred twenty-three years old when he died in Mount Hor.

The Canaanite king of Arad, who lived in the South in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.

yē hé huá zài mó yā píng yuán — yuē dàn hé biān 、 yē lì gē duì miàn xiǎo yù mó xī shuō :

The LORD spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,

「 nǐ fēn fù yǐ sè liè rén shuō : nǐ men guò yuē dàn hé jìn jiā nán dì de shí hòu ,

Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, “When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,

jiù yào cóng nǐ men miàn qián gǎn chū nà lǐ suǒ yǒu de jū mín , huǐ miè tā men yí qiè zàn chéng de shí xiàng hé tā men yí qiè zhù chéng de ǒu xiàng , yòu chāi huǐ tā men yí qiè de qiū tán 。

then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, destroy all their stone idols, destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places.

nǐ men yào duó nà dì , zhù zài qí zhōng , yīn wǒ bǎ nà dì cì gěi nǐ men wèi yè 。

You shall take possession of the land, and dwell therein; for I have given the land to you to possess it.

nǐ men yào àn jiā shì niān jiū , chéng shòu nà dì ; rén duō de , yào bǎ chǎn yè duō fēn gěi tā men ; rén shǎo de , yào bǎ chǎn yè shǎo fēn gěi tā men 。 niān chū hé dì gěi hé rén , jiù yào guī hé rén 。 nǐ men yào àn zōng zú de zhī pài chéng shòu 。

You shall inherit the land by lot according to your families; to the larger groups you shall give a larger inheritance, and to the smaller you shall give a smaller inheritance. Wherever the lot falls to any man, that shall be his. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers.

tǎng ruò nǐ men bù gǎn chū nà dì de jū mín , suǒ róng liú de jū mín jiù bì zuò nǐ men yǎn zhōng de cì , lèi xià de jīng jí , yě bì zài nǐ men suǒ zhù de dì shàng rǎo hài nǐ men 。

“But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those you let remain of them will be like pricks in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will harass you in the land in which you dwell.

。」

ér qiě wǒ sù cháng yǒu yì zěn yàng dài tā men , yě bì zhào yàng dài nǐ men 。」

It shall happen that as I thought to do to them, so I will do to you.”
