盗贼若来在你那里， 或强盗夜间而来— 你何竟被剪除— 岂不偷窃直到够了呢？ 摘葡萄的若来到你那里， 岂不剩下些葡萄呢？
dào zéi ruò lái zài nǐ nà li ， huò qiáng dào yè jiān ér lái — nǐ hé jìng bèi jiǎn chú — qǐ bù tōu qiè zhí dào gòu le ne ？ zhāi pú tao de ruò lái dào nǐ nà li ， qǐ bú shèng xià xiē pú tao ne ？
“If thieves came to you, if robbers by night—oh, what disaster awaits you—wouldn’t they only steal until they had enough? If grape pickers came to you, wouldn’t they leave some gleaning grapes?
