Bible Verses About Comfort and Grief

When words fail, Scripture gives language to grief and a promise to hold onto: God is near to the brokenhearted. These are verses for the hardest days.

1. 诗篇 34:18

   耶和华靠近伤心的人， 拯救灵性痛悔的人。

   The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

2. 马太福音 5:4

   哀恸的人有福了！ 因为他们必得安慰。

   Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

3. 诗篇 23:4

   我虽然行过死荫的幽谷， 也不怕遭害， 因为你与我同在； 你的杖，你的竿，都安慰我。

   Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

4. 哥林多后书 1:3

   愿颂赞归与我们的主耶稣基督的父 神，就是发慈悲的父，赐各样安慰的 神。

   Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,

5. 启示录 21:4

   神要擦去他们一切的眼泪；不再有死亡，也不再有悲哀、哭号、疼痛，因为以前的事都过去了。」

   He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain any more. The first things have passed away.”

6. 诗篇 147:3

   他医好伤心的人， 裹好他们的伤处。

   He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.

7. 约翰福音 14:1

   「你们心里不要忧愁；你们信 神，也当信我。

   “Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.

8. 马太福音 11:28

   凡劳苦担重担的人可以到我这里来，我就使你们得安息。

   “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.

9. 诗篇 73:26

   我的肉体和我的心肠衰残； 但 神是我心里的力量， 又是我的福分，直到永远。

   My flesh and my heart fails, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
