約翰一書 3

你看父賜給我們是何等的慈愛，使我們得稱為上帝的兒女；我們也真是他的兒女。世人所以不認識我們，是因未曾認識他。

nǐ kàn fù cì gěi wǒ men shì hé děng de cí ài ， shǐ wǒ men dé chēng wéi shén de ér nǚ ； wǒ men yě zhēn shì tā de ér nǚ 。 shì rén suǒ yǐ bú rèn shi wǒ men ， shì yīn wèi céng rèn shi tā 。

See how great a love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn’t know us, because it didn’t know him.

親愛的弟兄啊，我們現在是上帝的兒女，將來如何，還未顯明；但我們知道，主若顯現，我們必要像他，因為必得見他的真體。

qīn ài de dì xiong a ， wǒ men xiàn zài shì shén de ér nǚ ， jiāng lái rú hé ， hái wèi xiǎn míng ； dàn wǒ men zhī dào ， zhǔ ruò xiǎn xiàn ， wǒ men bì yào xiàng tā ， yīn wèi bì dé jiàn tā de zhēn tǐ 。

Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be; but we know that when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him just as he is.

凡向他有這指望的，就潔淨自己，像他潔淨一樣。

fán xiàng tā yǒu zhè zhǐ wàng de ， jiù jié jìng zì jǐ ， xiàng tā jié jìng yí yàng 。

Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.

凡犯罪的，就是違背律法；違背律法就是罪。

fán fàn zuì de ， jiù shì wéi bèi lǜ fǎ ； wéi bèi lǜ fǎ jiù shì zuì 。

Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.

你們知道主曾顯現，是要除掉人的罪，在他並沒有罪。

nǐ men zhī dào zhǔ céng xiǎn xiàn ， shì yào chú diào rén de zuì ， zài tā bìng méi yǒu zuì 。

You know that he was revealed to take away our sins, and no sin is in him.

凡住在他裏面的，就不犯罪；凡犯罪的，是未曾看見他，也未曾認識他。

fán zhù zài tā lǐ miàn de ， jiù bú fàn zuì ； fán fàn zuì de ， shì wèi céng kàn jiàn tā ， yě wèi céng rèn shi tā 。

Whoever remains in him doesn’t sin. Whoever sins hasn’t seen him and doesn’t know him.

小子們哪，不要被人誘惑。行義的才是義人，正如主是義的一樣。

xiǎo zi men nǎ ， bú yào bèi rén yòu huò 。 xíng yì de cái shì yì rén ， zhèng rú zhǔ shì yì de yí yàng 。

Little children, let no one lead you astray. He who does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

犯罪的是屬魔鬼，因為魔鬼從起初就犯罪。上帝的兒子顯現出來，為要除滅魔鬼的作為。

fàn zuì de shì shǔ mó guǐ ， yīn wèi mó guǐ cóng qǐ chū jiù fàn zuì 。 shén de ér zi xiǎn xiàn chū lái ， wèi yào chú miè mó guǐ de zuò wéi 。

He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed: that he might destroy the works of the devil.

凡從上帝生的，就不犯罪，因上帝的道 存在他心裏；他也不能犯罪，因為他是由上帝生的。

fán cóng shén shēng de ， jiù bú fàn zuì ， yīn shén de dào cún zài tā xīn lǐ ； tā yě bù néng fàn zuì ， yīn wèi tā shì yóu shén shēng de 。

Whoever is born of God doesn’t commit sin, because his seed remains in him, and he can’t sin, because he is born of God.

從此就顯出誰是上帝的兒女，誰是魔鬼的兒女。凡不行義的就不屬上帝，不愛弟兄的也是如此。

cóng cǐ jiù xiǎn chū shuí shì shén de ér nǚ ， shuí shì mó guǐ de ér nǚ 。 fán bù xíng yì de jiù bù shǔ shén ， bú ài dì xiong de yě shì rú cǐ 。

In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the devil. Whoever doesn’t do righteousness is not of God, neither is he who doesn’t love his brother.

我們應當彼此相愛。這就是你們從起初所聽見的命令。

wǒ men yīng dāng bǐ cǐ xiāng ài 。 zhè jiù shì nǐ men cóng qǐ chū suǒ tīng jiàn de mìng lìng 。

For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another—

不可像該隱；他是屬那惡者，殺了他的兄弟。為甚麼殺了他呢？因自己的行為是惡的，兄弟的行為是善的。

bù kě xiàng gāi yǐn ； tā shì shǔ nà è zhě ， shā le tā de xiōng dì 。 wèi shén me shā le tā ne ？ yīn zì jǐ de xíng wéi shì è de ， xiōng dì de xíng wéi shì shàn de 。

unlike Cain, who was of the evil one and killed his brother. Why did he kill him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother’s righteous.

弟兄們，世人若恨你們，不要以為希奇。

dì xiong men ， shì rén ruò hèn nǐ men ， bú yào yǐ wéi xī qí 。

Don’t be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you.

我們因為愛弟兄，就曉得是已經出死入生了。沒有愛心的，仍住在死中。

wǒ men yīn wèi ài dì xiōng ， jiù xiǎo de shì yǐ jīng chū sǐ rù shēng le 。 méi yǒu ài xīn de ， réng zhù zài sǐ zhōng 。

We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who doesn’t love his brother remains in death.

凡恨他弟兄的，就是殺人的；你們曉得凡殺人的，沒有永生存在他裏面。

fán hèn tā dì xiong de ， jiù shì shā rén de ； nǐ men xiǎo de fán shā rén de ， méi yǒu yǒng shēng cún zài tā lǐ miàn 。

Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him.

主為我們捨命，我們從此就知道何為愛；我們也當為弟兄捨命。

zhǔ wèi wǒ men shě mìng ， wǒ men cóng cǐ jiù zhī dào hé wèi ài ； wǒ men yě dāng wèi dì xiong shě mìng 。

By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.

凡有世上財物的，看見弟兄窮乏，卻塞住憐恤的心，愛上帝的心怎能存在他裏面呢？

fán yǒu shì shàng cái wù de ， kàn jiàn dì xiong qióng fá ， què sāi zhù lián xù de xīn ， ài shén de xīn zěn néng cún zài tā lǐ miàn ne ？

But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?

小子們哪，我們相愛，不要只在言語和舌頭上，總要在行為和誠實上。

xiǎo zi men nǎ ， wǒ men xiāng ài ， bú yào zhī zài yán yǔ hé shé tou shàng ， zǒng yào zài xíng wéi hé chéng shí shàng 。

My little children, let’s not love in word only, or with the tongue only, but in deed and truth.

從此就知道我們是屬真理的，並且我們的心在上帝面前可以安穩。

cóng cǐ jiù zhī dào wǒ men shì shǔ zhēn lǐ de ， bìng qiě wǒ men de xīn zài shén miàn qián kě yǐ ān wěn 。

And by this we know that we are of the truth and persuade our hearts before him,

我們的心若責備我們，上帝比我們的心大，一切事沒有不知道的。

wǒ men de xīn ruò zé bèi wǒ men ， shén bǐ wǒ men de xīn dà ， yí qiè shì méi yǒu bù zhī dào de 。

because if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

親愛的弟兄啊，我們的心若不責備我們，就可以向上帝坦然無懼了。

qīn ài de dì xiong a ， wǒ men de xīn ruò bù zé bèi wǒ men ， jiù kě yǐ xiàng shén tǎn rán wú jù le 。

Beloved, if our hearts don’t condemn us, we have boldness toward God;

並且我們一切所求的，就從他得着；因為我們遵守他的命令，行他所喜悅的事。

bìng qiě wǒ men yí qiè suǒ qiú de ， jiù cóng tā dé zhe ； yīn wèi wǒ men zūn shǒu tā de mìng lìng ， xíng tā suǒ xǐ yuè de shì 。

so whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.

上帝的命令就是叫我們信他兒子耶穌基督的名，且照他所賜給我們的命令彼此相愛。

shén de mìng lìng jiù shì jiào wǒ men xìn tā ér zǐ yē sū jī dū de míng ， qiě zhào tā suǒ cì gěi wǒ men de mìng lìng bǐ cǐ xiāng ài 。

This is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as he commanded.

遵守上帝命令的，就住在上帝裏面，上帝也住在他裏面。我們所以知道上帝住在我們裏面是因他所賜給我們的聖靈。

zūn shǒu shén mìng lìng de ， jiù zhù zài shén lǐ miàn ， shén yě zhù zài tā lǐ miàn 。 wǒ men suǒ yǐ zhī dào shén zhù zài wǒ men lǐ miàn shì yīn tā suǒ cì gěi wǒ men de shèng líng 。

He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. By this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.
