亞哈死後，摩押背叛以色列。

yà hā sǐ hòu ， mó yā bèi pàn yǐ sè liè 。

Moab rebelled against Israel after the death of Ahab.

亞哈謝在撒馬利亞，一日從樓上的欄杆裏掉下來，就病了；於是差遣使者說：「你們去問以革倫的神巴力‧西卜，我這病能好不能好。」

yà hā xiè zài sā mǎ lì yà ， yí rì cóng lóu shàng de lán gān lǐ diào xià lái ， jiù bìng le ； yú shì chāi qiǎn shǐ zhě shuō ：「 nǐ men qù wèn yǐ gé lún de shén bā lì · xī bǔ ， wǒ zhè bìng néng hǎo bù néng hǎo 。」

Ahaziah fell down through the lattice in his upper room that was in Samaria, and was sick. So he sent messengers, and said to them, “Go, inquire of Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I will recover of this sickness.”

但耶和華的使者對提斯比人以利亞說：「你起來，去迎着撒馬利亞王的使者，對他們說：『你們去問以革倫神巴力‧西卜，豈因以色列中沒有上帝嗎？』

dàn yē hé huá de shǐ zhě duì tí sī bǐ rén yǐ lì yà shuō ：「 nǐ qǐ lái ， qù yíng zhe sā mǎ lì yà wáng de shǐ zhě ， duì tā men shuō ：『 nǐ men qù wèn yǐ gé lún shén bā lì · xī bǔ ， qǐ yīn yǐ sè liè zhōng méi yǒu shén ma ？』

But the LORD’s angel said to Elijah the Tishbite, “Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and tell them, ‘Is it because there is no God in Israel that you go to inquire of Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron?

所以耶和華如此說：『你必不下你所上的床，必定要死！』」以利亞就去了。

suǒ yǐ yē hé huá rú cǐ shuō ：『 nǐ bì bú xià nǐ suǒ shàng de chuáng ， bì dìng yào sǐ ！』」 yǐ lì yà jiù qù le 。

Now therefore the LORD says, “You will not come down from the bed where you have gone up, but you will surely die.”’” Then Elijah departed.

使者回來見王，王問他們說：「你們為甚麼回來呢？」

shǐ zhě huí lái jiàn wáng ， wáng wèn tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men wèi shén me huí lái ne ？」

The messengers returned to him, and he said to them, “Why is it that you have returned?”

使者回答說：「有一個人迎着我們來，對我們說：『你們回去見差你們來的王，對他說：耶和華如此說，你差人去問以革倫神巴力‧西卜，豈因以色列中沒有上帝嗎？所以你必不下所上的床，必定要死。』」

shǐ zhě huí dá shuō ：「 yǒu yí gè rén yíng zhe wǒ men lái ， duì wǒ men shuō ：『 nǐ men huí qù jiàn chà nǐ men lái de wáng ， duì tā shuō ： yē hé huá rú cǐ shuō ， nǐ chà rén qù wèn yǐ gé lún shén bā lì · xī bǔ ， qǐ yīn yǐ sè liè zhōng méi yǒu shén ma ？ suǒ yǐ nǐ bì bú xià suǒ shàng de chuáng ， bì dìng yào sǐ 。』」

They said to him, “A man came up to meet us, and said to us, ‘Go, return to the king who sent you, and tell him, “The LORD says, ‘Is it because there is no God in Israel that you send to inquire of Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you will not come down from the bed where you have gone up, but you will surely die.’”’”

王問他們說：「迎着你們來告訴你們這話的，是怎樣的人？」

wáng wèn tā men shuō ：「 yíng zhe nǐ men lái gào sù nǐ men zhè huà de ， shì zěn yàng de rén ？」

He said to them, “What kind of man was he who came up to meet you and told you these words?”

回答說：「他身穿毛衣，腰束皮帶。」王說：「這必是提斯比人以利亞。」

huí dá shuō ：「 tā shēn chuān máo yī ， yāo shù pí dài 。」 wáng shuō ：「 zhè bì shì tí sī bǐ rén yǐ lì yà 。」

They answered him, “He was a hairy man, and wearing a leather belt around his waist.” He said, “It’s Elijah the Tishbite.”

於是，王差遣五十夫長，帶領五十人去見以利亞，他就上到以利亞那裏；以利亞正坐在山頂上。五十夫長對他說：「神人哪，王吩咐你下來！」

yú shì ， wáng chāi qiǎn wǔ shí fū cháng ， dài lǐng wǔ shí rén qù jiàn yǐ lì yà ， tā jiù shàng dào yǐ lì yà nà lǐ ； yǐ lì yà zhèng zuò zài shān dǐng shàng 。 wǔ shí fū cháng duì tā shuō ：「 shén rén nǎ ， wáng fēn fù nǐ xià lái ！」

Then the king sent a captain of fifty with his fifty to him. He went up to him; and behold, he was sitting on the top of the hill. He said to him, “Man of God, the king has said, ‘Come down!’”

以利亞回答說：「我若是神人，願火從天上降下來，燒滅你和你那五十人！」於是有火從天上降下來，燒滅五十夫長和他那五十人。

yǐ lì yà huí dá shuō ：「 wǒ ruò shì shén rén ， yuàn huǒ cóng tiān shàng jiàng xià lái ， shāo miè nǐ hé nǐ nà wǔ shí rén ！」 yú shì yǒu huǒ cóng tiān shàng jiàng xià lái ， shāo miè wǔ shí fū cháng hé tā nà wǔ shí rén 。

Elijah answered to the captain of fifty, “If I am a man of God, then let fire come down from the sky and consume you and your fifty!” Then fire came down from the sky, and consumed him and his fifty.

王第二次差遣一個五十夫長，帶領五十人去見以利亞。五十夫長對以利亞說：「神人哪，王吩咐你快快下來！」

wáng dì èr cì chāi qiǎn yí gè wǔ shí fū cháng ， dài lǐng wǔ shí rén qù jiàn yǐ lì yà 。 wǔ shí fū cháng duì yǐ lì yà shuō ：「 shén rén nǎ ， wáng fēn fù nǐ kuài kuài xià lái ！」

Again he sent to him another captain of fifty with his fifty. He answered him, “Man of God, the king has said, ‘Come down quickly!’”

以利亞回答說：「我若是神人，願火從天上降下來，燒滅你和你那五十人！」於是上帝的火從天上降下來，燒滅五十夫長和他那五十人。

yǐ lì yà huí dá shuō ：「 wǒ ruò shì shén rén ， yuàn huǒ cóng tiān shàng jiàng xià lái ， shāo miè nǐ hé nǐ nà wǔ shí rén ！」 yú shì shén de huǒ cóng tiān shàng jiàng xià lái ， shāo miè wǔ shí fū cháng hé tā nà wǔ shí rén 。

Elijah answered them, “If I am a man of God, then let fire come down from the sky and consume you and your fifty!” Then God’s fire came down from the sky, and consumed him and his fifty.

王第三次差遣一個五十夫長，帶領五十人去。這五十夫長上去，雙膝跪在以利亞面前，哀求他說：「神人哪，願我的性命和你這五十個僕人的性命在你眼前看為寶貴！

wáng dì sān cì chāi qiǎn yí gè wǔ shí fū cháng ， dài lǐng wǔ shí rén qù 。 zhè wǔ shí fū cháng shàng qù ， shuāng xī guì zài yǐ lì yà miàn qián ， āi qiú tā shuō ：「 shén rén nǎ ， yuàn wǒ de xìng mìng hé nǐ zhè wǔ shí gè pú rén de xìng mìng zài nǐ yǎn qián kàn wèi bǎo guì ！

Again he sent the captain of a third fifty with his fifty. The third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and begged him, and said to him, “Man of God, please let my life and the life of these fifty of your servants be precious in your sight.

已經有火從天上降下來，燒滅前兩次來的五十夫長和他們各自帶的五十人；現在願我的性命在你眼前看為寶貴！」

yǐ jīng yǒu huǒ cóng tiān shàng jiàng xià lái ， shāo miè qián liǎng cì lái de wǔ shí fū cháng hé tā men gè zì dài de wǔ shí rén ； xiàn zài yuàn wǒ de xìng mìng zài nǐ yǎn qián kàn wèi bǎo guì ！」

Behold, fire came down from the sky and consumed the last two captains of fifty with their fifties. But now let my life be precious in your sight.”

耶和華的使者對以利亞說：「你同着他下去，不要怕他！」以利亞就起來，同着他下去見王，

yē hé huá de shǐ zhě duì yǐ lì yà shuō ：「 nǐ tóng zhe tā xià qù ， bú yào pà tā ！」 yǐ lì yà jiù qǐ lái ， tóng zhe tā xià qù jiàn wáng ，

The LORD’s angel said to Elijah, “Go down with him. Don’t be afraid of him.” Then he arose and went down with him to the king.

對王說：「耶和華如此說：『你差人去問以革倫神巴力‧西卜，豈因以色列中沒有上帝可以求問嗎？所以你必不下所上的床，必定要死！』」

duì wáng shuō ：「 yē hé huá rú cǐ shuō ：『 nǐ chà rén qù wèn yǐ gé lún shén bā lì · xī bǔ ， qǐ yīn yǐ sè liè zhōng méi yǒu shén kě yǐ qiú wèn ma ？ suǒ yǐ nǐ bì bú xià suǒ shàng de chuáng ， bì dìng yào sǐ ！』」

He said to him, “The LORD says, ‘Because you have sent messengers to inquire of Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron, is it because there is no God in Israel to inquire of his word? Therefore you will not come down from the bed where you have gone up, but you will surely die.’”

亞哈謝果然死了，正如耶和華藉以利亞所說的話。因他沒有兒子，他兄弟約蘭接續他作王，正在猶大王約沙法的兒子約蘭第二年。

yà hā xiè guǒ rán sǐ le ， zhèng rú yē hé huá jiè yǐ lì yà suǒ shuō de huà 。 yīn tā méi yǒu ér zi ， tā xiōng dì yuē lán jiē xù tā zuò wáng ， zhèng zài yóu dà wáng yuē shā fǎ de ér zi yuē lán dì èr nián 。

So he died according to the LORD’s word which Elijah had spoken. Jehoram began to reign in his place in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, because he had no son.

亞哈謝其餘所行的事都寫在以色列諸王記上。

yà hā xiè qí yú suǒ xíng de shì dōu xiě zài yǐ sè liè zhū wáng jì shàng 。

Now the rest of the acts of Ahaziah which he did, aren’t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
