大衛年間有饑荒，一連三年，大衛就求問耶和華。耶和華說：「這饑荒是因掃羅和他流人血之家殺死基遍人。」

dà wèi nián jiān yǒu jī huāng ， yì lián sān nián ， dà wèi jiù qiú wèn yē hé huá 。 yē hé huá shuō ：「 zhè jī huāng shì yīn sǎo luó hé tā liú rén xuè zhī jiā shā sǐ jī biàn rén 。」

There was a famine in the days of David for three years, year after year; and David sought the face of the LORD. The LORD said, “It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he put the Gibeonites to death.”

原來這基遍人不是以色列人，乃是亞摩利人中所剩的；以色列人曾向他們起誓，不殺滅他們，掃羅卻為以色列人和猶大人發熱心，想要殺滅他們。大衛王召了他們來，

yuán lái zhè jī biàn rén bú shì yǐ sè liè rén ， nǎi shì yà mó lì rén zhōng suǒ shèng de ； yǐ sè liè rén céng xiàng tā men qǐ shì ， bù shā miè tā men ， sǎo luó què wèi yǐ sè liè rén hé yóu dà rén fā rè xīn ， xiǎng yào shā miè tā men 。 dà wèi wáng zhào le tā men lái ，

The king called the Gibeonites and said to them (now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorites, and the children of Israel had sworn to them; and Saul sought to kill them in his zeal for the children of Israel and Judah);

問他們說：「我當為你們怎樣行呢？可用甚麼贖這罪，使你們為耶和華的產業祝福呢？」

wèn tā men shuō ：「 wǒ dāng wèi nǐ men zěn yàng xíng ne ？ kě yòng shén me shú zhè zuì ， shǐ nǐ men wèi yē hé huá de chǎn yè zhù fú ne ？」

and David said to the Gibeonites, “What should I do for you? And with what should I make atonement, that you may bless the LORD’s inheritance?”

基遍人回答說：「我們和掃羅與他家的事並不關乎金銀，也不要因我們的緣故殺一個以色列人。」大衛說：「你們怎樣說，我就為你們怎樣行。」

jī biàn rén huí dá shuō ：「 wǒ men hé sǎo luó yǔ tā jiā de shì bìng bù guān hū jīn yín ， yě bú yào yīn wǒ men de yuán gù shā yí gè yǐ sè liè rén 。」 dà wèi shuō ：「 nǐ men zěn yàng shuō ， wǒ jiù wèi nǐ men zěn yàng xíng 。」

The Gibeonites said to him, “It is no matter of silver or gold between us and Saul or his house; neither is it for us to put any man to death in Israel.” He said, “I will do for you whatever you say.”

他們對王說：「那從前謀害我們、要滅我們、使我們不得再住以色列境內的人，

tā men duì wáng shuō ：「 nà cóng qián móu hài wǒ men 、 yào miè wǒ men 、 shǐ wǒ men bù dé zài zhù yǐ sè liè jìng nèi de rén ，

They said to the king, “The man who consumed us and who plotted against us, that we should be destroyed from remaining in any of the borders of Israel,

現在願將他的子孫七人交給我們，我們好在耶和華面前，將他們懸掛在耶和華揀選掃羅的基比亞。」王說：「我必交給你們。」

xiàn zài yuàn jiāng tā de zǐ sūn qī rén jiāo gěi wǒ men ， wǒ men hǎo zài yē hé huá miàn qián ， jiāng tā men xuán guà zài yē hé huá jiǎn xuǎn sǎo luó de jī bǐ yà 。」 wáng shuō ：「 wǒ bì jiāo gěi nǐ men 。」

let seven men of his sons be delivered to us, and we will hang them up to the LORD in Gibeah of Saul, the chosen of the LORD.” The king said, “I will give them.”

王因為曾與掃羅的兒子約拿單指着耶和華起誓結盟，就愛惜掃羅的孫子、約拿單的兒子米非波設，不交出來，

wáng yīn wèi céng yǔ sǎo luó de ér zi yuē ná dān zhǐ zhe yē hé huá qǐ shì jié méng ， jiù ài xī sǎo luó de sūn zi 、 yuē ná dān de ér zi mǐ fēi bō shè ， bù jiāo chū lái ，

But the king spared Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan the son of Saul, because of the LORD’s oath that was between them, between David and Jonathan the son of Saul.

卻把愛雅的女兒利斯巴給掃羅所生的兩個兒子亞摩尼、米非波設，和掃羅女兒米甲的姊姊給米何拉人巴西萊兒子亞得列所生的五個兒子

què bǎ ài yǎ de nǚ ér lì sī bā gěi sǎo luó suǒ shēng de liǎng gè ér zi yà mó ní 、 mǐ fēi bō shè ， hé sǎo luó nǚ ér mǐ jiǎ de zǐ zǐ gěi mǐ hé lā rén bā xī lái ér zi yà dé liè suǒ shēng de wǔ gè ér zi

But the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, whom she bore to Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth; and the five sons of Merab the daughter of Saul, whom she bore to Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite.

交在基遍人的手裏。基遍人就把他們，在耶和華面前，懸掛在山上，這七人就一同死亡。被殺的時候正是收割的日子，就是動手割大麥的時候。

jiāo zài jī biàn rén de shǒu lǐ 。 jī biàn rén jiù bǎ tā men ， zài yē hé huá miàn qián ， xuán guà zài shān shàng ， zhè qī rén jiù yì tóng sǐ wáng 。 bèi shā de shí hòu zhèng shì shōu gē de rì zi ， jiù shì dòng shǒu gē dà mài de shí hòu 。

He delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites; and they hanged them on the mountain before the LORD, and all seven of them fell together. They were put to death in the days of harvest, in the first days, at the beginning of barley harvest.

愛雅的女兒利斯巴用麻布在磐石上搭棚，從動手收割的時候直到天降雨在屍身上的時候，日間不容空中的雀鳥落在屍身上，夜間不讓田野的走獸前來糟踐。

ài yǎ de nǚ ér lì sī bā yòng má bù zài pán shí shàng dā péng ， cóng dòng shǒu shōu gē de shí hòu zhí dào tiān jiàng yǔ zài shī shēn shàng de shí hòu ， rì jiān bù róng kōng zhōng de què niǎo luò zài shī shēn shàng ， yè jiān bú ràng tián yě de zǒu shòu qián lái zāo jiàn 。

Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth and spread it for herself on the rock, from the beginning of harvest until water poured on them from the sky. She allowed neither the birds of the sky to rest on them by day, nor the animals of the field by night.

有人將掃羅的妃嬪愛雅女兒利斯巴所行的這事告訴大衛。

yǒu rén jiāng sǎo luó de fēi pín ài yǎ nǚ ér lì sī bā suǒ xíng de zhè shì gào sù dà wèi 。

David was told what Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, the concubine of Saul, had done.

大衛就去，從基列‧雅比人那裏將掃羅和他兒子約拿單的骸骨搬了來（是因非利士人從前在基利波殺掃羅，將屍身懸掛在伯‧珊的街市上，基列‧雅比人把屍身偷了去。）

dà wèi jiù qù ， cóng jī liè · yǎ bǐ rén nà lǐ jiāng sǎo luó hé tā ér zi yuē ná dān de hái gǔ bān le lái （ shì yīn fēi lì shì rén cóng qián zài jī lì bō shā sǎo luó ， jiāng shī shēn xuán guà zài bó · shān de jiē shì shàng ， jī liè · yǎ bǐ rén bǎ shī shēn tōu le qù 。）

So David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son from the men of Jabesh Gilead, who had stolen them from the street of Beth Shan, where the Philistines had hanged them in the day that the Philistines killed Saul in Gilboa;

大衛將掃羅和他兒子約拿單的骸骨從那裏搬了來，又收殮被懸掛七人的骸骨，

dà wèi jiāng sǎo luó hé tā ér zi yuē ná dān de hái gǔ cóng nà lǐ bān le lái ， yòu shōu liàn bèi xuán guà qī rén de hái gǔ ，

and he brought up from there the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son. They also gathered the bones of those who were hanged.

將掃羅和他兒子約拿單的骸骨葬在便雅憫的洗拉，在掃羅父親基士的墳墓裏；眾人行了王所吩咐的。此後上帝垂聽國民所求的。

jiāng sǎo luó hé tā ér zi yuē ná dān de hái gǔ zàng zài biàn yǎ mǐn de xǐ lā ， zài sǎo luó fù qīn jī shì de fén mù lǐ ； zhòng rén xíng le wáng suǒ fēn fù de 。 cǐ hòu shén chuí tīng guó mín suǒ qiú de 。

They buried the bones of Saul and Jonathan his son in the country of Benjamin in Zela, in the tomb of Kish his father; and they performed all that the king commanded. After that, God answered prayer for the land.

非利士人與以色列人打仗；大衛帶領僕人下去，與非利士人接戰，大衛就疲乏了。

fēi lì shì rén yǔ yǐ sè liè rén dǎ zhàng ； dà wèi dài lǐng pú rén xià qù ， yǔ fēi lì shì rén jiē zhàn ， dà wèi jiù pí fá le 。

The Philistines had war again with Israel; and David went down, and his servants with him, and fought against the Philistines. David grew faint;

偉人的一個兒子以實‧比諾要殺大衛；他的銅槍重三百舍客勒，又佩着新刀。

wěi rén de yí gè ér zi yǐ shí · bǐ nuò yào shā dà wèi ； tā de tóng qiāng zhòng sān bǎi shè kè lè ， yòu pèi zhe xīn dāo 。

and Ishbibenob, who was of the sons of the giant, the weight of whose spear was three hundred shekels of bronze in weight, he being armed with a new sword, thought he would kill David.

但洗魯雅的兒子亞比篩幫助大衛，攻打非利士人，將他殺死。當日，跟隨大衛的人向大衛起誓說：「以後你不可再與我們一同出戰，恐怕熄滅以色列的燈。」

dàn xǐ lǔ yǎ de ér zi yà bǐ shāi bāng zhù dà wèi ， gōng dǎ fēi lì shì rén ， jiāng tā shā sǐ 。 dāng rì ， gēn suí dà wèi de rén xiàng dà wèi qǐ shì shuō ：「 yǐ hòu nǐ bù kě zài yǔ wǒ men yì tóng chū zhàn ， kǒng pà xī miè yǐ sè liè de dēng 。」

But Abishai the son of Zeruiah helped him, and struck the Philistine and killed him. Then the men of David swore to him, saying, “Don’t go out with us to battle any more, so that you don’t quench the lamp of Israel.”

後來，以色列人在歌伯與非利士人打仗，戶沙人西比該殺了偉人的一個兒子撒弗。

hòu lái ， yǐ sè liè rén zài gē bó yǔ fēi lì shì rén dǎ zhàng ， hù shā rén xī bǐ gāi shā le wěi rén de yí gè ér zi sā fú 。

After this, there was again war with the Philistines at Gob. Then Sibbecai the Hushathite killed Saph, who was of the sons of the giant.

又在歌伯與非利士人打仗，伯利恆人雅雷俄珥金的兒子伊勒哈難殺了迦特人歌利亞。這人的槍桿粗如織布的機軸。

yòu zài gē bó yǔ fēi lì shì rén dǎ zhàng ， bó lì héng rén yǎ léi é ěr jīn de ér zi yī lè hā nán shā le jiā tè rén gē lì yà 。 zhè rén de qiāng gǎn cū rú zhī bù de jī zhóu 。

There was again war with the Philistines at Gob, and Elhanan the son of Jaare-Oregim the Bethlehemite killed Goliath the Gittite’s brother, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver’s beam.

又在迦特打仗，那裏有一個身量高大的人，手腳都是六指，共有二十四個指頭；他也是偉人的兒子。

yòu zài jiā tè dǎ zhàng ， nà lǐ yǒu yí gè shēn liàng gāo dà de rén ， shǒu jiǎo dōu shì liù zhǐ ， gòng yǒu èr shí sì gè zhǐ tou ； tā yě shì wěi rén de ér zi 。

There was again war at Gath, where there was a man of great stature, who had six fingers on every hand and six toes on every foot, twenty-four in number, and he also was born to the giant.

這人向以色列人罵陣，大衛的哥哥示米亞的兒子約拿單就殺了他。

zhè rén xiàng yǐ sè liè rén mà zhèn ， dà wèi de gē ge shì mǐ yà de ér zi yuē ná dān jiù shā le tā 。

When he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimei, David’s brother, killed him.

這四個人是迦特偉人的兒子，都死在大衛和他僕人的手下。

zhè sì gè rén shì jiā tè wěi rén de ér zi ， dōu sǐ zài dà wèi hé tā pú rén de shǒu xià 。

These four were born to the giant in Gath; and they fell by the hand of David and by the hand of his servants.
