使徒行傳 28

我們既已得救，才知道那島名叫馬耳他。

wǒ men jì yǐ dé jiù ， cái zhī dào nà dǎo míng jiào mǎ ěr tā 。

When we had escaped, then they learned that the island was called Malta.

土人看待我們，有非常的情分；因為當時下雨，天氣又冷，就生火接待我們眾人。

tǔ rén kàn dài wǒ men ， yǒu fēi cháng de qíng fēn ； yīn wèi dāng shí xià yǔ ， tiān qì yòu lěng ， jiù shēng huǒ jiē dài wǒ men zhòng rén 。

The natives showed us uncommon kindness; for they kindled a fire and received us all, because of the present rain and because of the cold.

那時，保羅拾起一捆柴，放在火上，有一條毒蛇，因為熱了出來，咬住他的手。

nà shí ， bǎo luó shí qǐ yì kǔn chái ， fàng zài huǒ shàng ， yǒu yì tiáo dú shé ， yīn wèi rè le chū lái ， yǎo zhù tā de shǒu 。

But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat and fastened on his hand.

土人看見那毒蛇懸在他手上，就彼此說：「這人必是個兇手，雖然從海裏救上來，天理還不容他活着。」

tǔ rén kàn jiàn nà dú shé xuán zài tā shǒu shàng ， jiù bǐ cǐ shuō ：「 zhè rén bì shì gè xiōng shǒu ， suī rán cóng hǎi lǐ jiù shàng lái ， tiān lǐ hái bù róng tā huó zhe 。」

When the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another, “No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he has escaped from the sea, yet Justice has not allowed to live.”

保羅竟把那毒蛇甩在火裏，並沒有受傷。

bǎo luó jìng bǎ nà dú shé shuǎi zài huǒ lǐ ， bìng méi yǒu shòu shāng 。

However he shook off the creature into the fire, and wasn’t harmed.

土人想他必要腫起來，或是忽然仆倒死了；看了多時，見他無害，就轉念，說：「他是個神。」

tǔ rén xiǎng tā bì yào zhǒng qǐ lái ， huò shì hū rán pú dǎo sǐ le ； kàn le duō shí ， jiàn tā wú hài ， jiù zhuǎn niàn ， shuō ：「 tā shì gè shén 。」

But they expected that he would have swollen or fallen down dead suddenly, but when they watched for a long time and saw nothing bad happen to him, they changed their minds and said that he was a god.

離那地方不遠，有田產是島長部百流的；他接納我們，盡情款待三日。

lí nà dì fāng bù yuǎn ， yǒu tián chǎn shì dǎo cháng bù bǎi liú de ； tā jiē nà wǒ men ， jìn qíng kuǎn dài sān rì 。

Now in the neighborhood of that place were lands belonging to the chief man of the island, named Publius, who received us and courteously entertained us for three days.

當時，部百流的父親患熱病和痢疾躺着。保羅進去，為他禱告，按手在他身上，治好了他。

dāng shí ， bù bǎi liú de fù qīn huàn rè bìng hé lì jí tǎng zhe 。 bǎo luó jìn qù ， wèi tā dǎo gào ， àn shǒu zài tā shēn shàng ， zhì hǎo le tā 。

The father of Publius lay sick of fever and dysentery. Paul entered in to him, prayed, and laying his hands on him, healed him.

從此，島上其餘的病人也來，得了醫治。

cóng cǐ ， dǎo shàng qí yú de bìng rén yě lái ， dé le yī zhì 。

Then when this was done, the rest also who had diseases in the island came and were cured.

他們又多方地尊敬我們；到了開船的時候，也把我們所需用的送到船上。

tā men yòu duō fāng dì zūn jìng wǒ men ； dào le kāi chuán de shí hòu ， yě bǎ wǒ men suǒ xū yòng de sòng dào chuán shàng 。

They also honored us with many honors; and when we sailed, they put on board the things that we needed.

過了三個月，我們上了亞歷山大的船往前行；這船以「宙斯雙子」為記，是在那海島過了冬的。

guò le sān gè yuè ， wǒ men shàng le yà lì shān dà de chuán wǎng qián xíng ； zhè chuán yǐ 「 zhòu sī shuāng zǐ 」 wèi jì ， shì zài nà hǎi dǎo guò le dōng de 。

After three months, we set sail in a ship of Alexandria which had wintered in the island, whose figurehead was “The Twin Brothers.”

到了敘拉古，我們停泊三日；

dào le xù lā gǔ ， wǒ men tíng bó sān rì ；

Touching at Syracuse, we stayed there three days.

又從那裏繞行，來到利基翁。過了一天，起了南風，第二天就來到部丟利。

yòu cóng nà lǐ rào xíng ， lái dào lì jī wēng 。 guò le yì tiān ， qǐ le nán fēng ， dì èr tiān jiù lái dào bù diū lì 。

From there we circled around and arrived at Rhegium. After one day, a south wind sprang up, and on the second day we came to Puteoli,

在那裏遇見弟兄們，請我們與他們同住了七天。這樣，我們來到羅馬。

zài nà lǐ yù jiàn dì xiōng men ， qǐng wǒ men yǔ tā men tóng zhù le qī tiān 。 zhè yàng ， wǒ men lái dào luó mǎ 。

where we found brothers, and were entreated to stay with them for seven days. So we came to Rome.

那裏的弟兄們一聽見我們的信息就出來，到亞比烏市和三館 地方迎接我們。保羅見了他們，就感謝上帝，放心壯膽。

nà lǐ de dì xiōng men yì tīng jiàn wǒ men de xìn xī jiù chū lái ， dào yà bǐ wū shì hé sān guǎn dì fāng yíng jiē wǒ men 。 bǎo luó jiàn le tā men ， jiù gǎn xiè shén ， fàng xīn zhuàng dǎn 。

From there the brothers, when they heard of us, came to meet us as far as The Market of Appius and The Three Taverns. When Paul saw them, he thanked God and took courage.

進了羅馬城， 保羅蒙准和一個看守他的兵另住在一處。

jìn le luó mǎ chéng ， bǎo luó méng zhǔn hé yí gè kān shǒu tā de bīng lìng zhù zài yí chù 。

When we entered into Rome, the centurion delivered the prisoners to the captain of the guard, but Paul was allowed to stay by himself with the soldier who guarded him.

過了三天，保羅請猶太人的首領來。他們來了，就對他們說：「弟兄們，我雖沒有做甚麼事干犯本國的百姓和我們祖宗的規條，卻被鎖綁，從耶路撒冷解在羅馬人的手裏。

guò le sān tiān ， bǎo luó qǐng yóu tài rén de shǒu lǐng lái 。 tā men lái le ， jiù duì tā men shuō ：「 dì xiong men ， wǒ suī méi yǒu zuò shén me shì gān fàn běn guó de bǎi xìng hé wǒ men zǔ zōng de guī tiáo ， què bèi suǒ bǎng ， cóng yē lù sā lěng jiě zài luó mǎ rén de shǒu lǐ 。

After three days Paul called together those who were the leaders of the Jews. When they had come together, he said to them, “I, brothers, though I had done nothing against the people or the customs of our fathers, still was delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans,

他們審問了我，就願意釋放我；因為在我身上，並沒有該死的罪。

tā men shěn wèn le wǒ ， jiù yuàn yì shì fàng wǒ ； yīn wèi zài wǒ shēn shàng ， bìng méi yǒu gāi sǐ de zuì 。

who, when they had examined me, desired to set me free, because there was no cause of death in me.

無奈猶太人不服，我不得已，只好上告於凱撒，並非有甚麼事要控告我本國的百姓。

wú nài yóu tài rén bù fú ， wǒ bù dé yǐ ， zhǐ hǎo shàng gào yú kǎi sā ， bìng fēi yǒu shén me shì yào kòng gào wǒ běn guó de bǎi xìng 。

But when the Jews spoke against it, I was constrained to appeal to Caesar, not that I had anything about which to accuse my nation.

因此，我請你們來見面說話，我原為以色列人所指望的，被這鍊子捆鎖。」

yīn cǐ ， wǒ qǐng nǐ men lái jiàn miàn shuō huà ， wǒ yuán wèi yǐ sè liè rén suǒ zhǐ wàng de ， bèi zhè liàn zǐ kǔn suǒ 。」

For this cause therefore I asked to see you and to speak with you. For because of the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.”

他們說：「我們並沒有接着從猶太來論你的信，也沒有弟兄到這裏來報給我們說你有甚麼不好處。

tā men shuō ：「 wǒ men bìng méi yǒu jiē zhe cóng yóu tài lái lùn nǐ de xìn ， yě méi yǒu dì xiong dào zhè lǐ lái bào gěi wǒ men shuō nǐ yǒu shén me bù hǎo chù 。

They said to him, “We neither received letters from Judea concerning you, nor did any of the brothers come here and report or speak any evil of you.

但我們願意聽你的意見如何；因為這教門，我們曉得是到處被毀謗的。」

dàn wǒ men yuàn yì tīng nǐ de yì jiàn rú hé ； yīn wèi zhè jiào mén ， wǒ men xiǎo de shì dào chù bèi huǐ bàng de 。」

But we desire to hear from you what you think. For, as concerning this sect, it is known to us that everywhere it is spoken against.”

他們和保羅約定了日子，就有許多人到他的寓處來。保羅從早到晚，對他們講論這事，證明上帝國的道，引摩西的律法和先知的書，以耶穌的事勸勉他們。

tā men hé bǎo luó yuē dìng le rì zi ， jiù yǒu xǔ duō rén dào tā de yù chù lái 。 bǎo luó cóng zǎo dào wǎn ， duì tā men jiǎng lùn zhè shì ， zhèng míng shén guó de dào ， yǐn mó xī de lǜ fǎ hé xiān zhī de shū ， yǐ yē sū de shì quàn miǎn tā men 。

When they had appointed him a day, many people came to him at his lodging. He explained to them, testifying about God’s Kingdom, and persuading them concerning Jesus, both from the law of Moses and from the prophets, from morning until evening.

他所說的話，有信的，有不信的。

tā suǒ shuō de huà ， yǒu xìn de ， yǒu bú xìn de 。

Some believed the things which were spoken, and some disbelieved.

他們彼此不合，就散了；未散以先，保羅說了一句話，說：「聖靈藉先知以賽亞向你們祖宗所說的話是不錯的。

tā men bǐ cǐ bù hé ， jiù sàn le ； wèi sàn yǐ xiān ， bǎo luó shuō le yí jù huà ， shuō ：「 shèng líng jiè xiān zhī yǐ sài yà xiàng nǐ men zǔ zōng suǒ shuō de huà shì bú cuò de 。

When they didn’t agree among themselves, they departed after Paul had spoken one message: “The Holy Spirit spoke rightly through Isaiah the prophet to our fathers,

他說： 你去告訴這百姓說： 你們聽是要聽見，卻不明白； 看是要看見，卻不曉得；

tā shuō ： nǐ qù gào sù zhè bǎi xìng shuō ： nǐ men tīng shì yào tīng jiàn ， què bù míng bái ； kàn shì yào kàn jiàn ， què bù xiǎo de ；

saying, ‘Go to this people and say, in hearing, you will hear, but will in no way understand. In seeing, you will see, but will in no way perceive.

因為這百姓油蒙了心， 耳朵發沉， 眼睛閉着； 恐怕眼睛看見， 耳朵聽見， 心裏明白，回轉過來， 我就醫治他們。

yīn wèi zhè bǎi xìng yóu méng le xīn ， ěr duo fā chén ， yǎn jīng bì zhe ； kǒng pà yǎn jīng kàn jiàn ， ěr duo tīng jiàn ， xīn lǐ míng bái ， huí zhuǎn guò lái ， wǒ jiù yī zhì tā men 。

For this people’s heart has grown callous. Their ears are dull of hearing. Their eyes they have closed. Lest they should see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and would turn again, then I would heal them.’

所以你們當知道，上帝這救恩，如今傳給外邦人，他們也必聽受。」

suǒ yǐ nǐ men dāng zhī dào ， shén zhè jiù ēn ， rú jīn chuán gěi wài bāng rén ， tā men yě bì tīng shòu 。」

“Be it known therefore to you that the salvation of God is sent to the nations, and they will listen.”

When he had said these words, the Jews departed, having a great dispute among themselves.

保羅在自己所租的房子裏住了足足兩年。凡來見他的人，他全都接待，

bǎo luó zài zì jǐ suǒ zū de fáng zi lǐ zhù le zú zú liǎng nián 。 fán lái jiàn tā de rén ， tā quán dōu jiē dài ，

Paul stayed two whole years in his own rented house and received all who were coming to him,

放膽傳講上帝國的道，將主耶穌基督的事教導人，並沒有人禁止。

fàng dǎn chuán jiǎng shén guó de dào ， jiāng zhǔ yē sū jī dū de shì jiào dǎo rén ， bìng méi yǒu rén jìn zhǐ 。

preaching God’s Kingdom and teaching the things concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness, without hindrance.
