官長為百姓的緣故，想不出法子刑罰他們，又恐嚇一番，把他們釋放了。這是因眾人為所行的奇事都歸榮耀與上帝。
guān zhǎng wèi bǎi xìng de yuán gù ， xiǎng bù chū fǎ zi xíng fá tā men ， yòu kǒng hè yì fān ， bǎ tā men shì fàng le 。 zhè shì yīn zhòng rén wèi suǒ xíng de qí shì dōu guī róng yào yǔ shén 。
When they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish them, because of the people; for everyone glorified God for that which was done.
