申命記 9

「以色列啊，你當聽！你今日要過約旦河，進去趕出比你強大的國民，得着廣大堅固、高得頂天的城邑。

「 yǐ sè liè a ， nǐ dāng tīng ！ nǐ jīn rì yào guò yuē dàn hé ， jìn qù gǎn chū bǐ nǐ qiáng dà de guó mín ， dé zhe guǎng dà jiān gù 、 gāo dé dǐng tiān de chéng yì 。

Hear, Israel! You are to pass over the Jordan today, to go in to dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourself, cities great and fortified up to the sky,

那民是亞衲族的人，又大又高，是你所知道的；也曾聽見有人指着他們說：『誰能在亞衲族人面前站立得住呢？』

nà mín shì yà nà zú de rén ， yòu dà yòu gāo ， shì nǐ suǒ zhī dào de ； yě céng tīng jiàn yǒu rén zhǐ zhe tā men shuō ：『 shuí néng zài yà nà zú rén miàn qián zhàn lì dé zhù ne ？』

a people great and tall, the sons of the Anakim, whom you know, and of whom you have heard say, “Who can stand before the sons of Anak?”

你今日當知道，耶和華－你的上帝在你前面過去，如同烈火，要滅絕他們，將他們制伏在你面前。這樣，你就要照耶和華所說的趕出他們，使他們速速滅亡。

nǐ jīn rì dāng zhī dào ， yē hé huá — nǐ de shén zài nǐ qián miàn guò qù ， rú tóng liè huǒ ， yào miè jué tā men ， jiāng tā men zhì fú zài nǐ miàn qián 。 zhè yàng ， nǐ jiù yào zhào yē hé huá suǒ shuō de gǎn chū tā men ， shǐ tā men sù sù miè wáng 。

Know therefore today that the LORD your God is he who goes over before you as a devouring fire. He will destroy them and he will bring them down before you. So you shall drive them out and make them perish quickly, as the LORD has spoken to you.

「耶和華－你的上帝將這些國民從你面前攆出以後，你心裏不可說：『耶和華將我領進來得這地是因我的義。』其實，耶和華將他們從你面前趕出去是因他們的惡。

「 yē hé huá — nǐ de shén jiāng zhè xiē guó mín cóng nǐ miàn qián niǎn chū yǐ hòu ， nǐ xīn lǐ bù kě shuō ：『 yē hé huá jiāng wǒ lǐng jìn lái de zhè dì shì yīn wǒ de yì 。』 qí shí ， yē hé huá jiāng tā men cóng nǐ miàn qián gǎn chū qù shì yīn tā men de è 。

Don’t say in your heart, after the LORD your God has thrust them out from before you, “For my righteousness the LORD has brought me in to possess this land;” because the LORD drives them out before you because of the wickedness of these nations.

你進去得他們的地，並不是因你的義，也不是因你心裏正直，乃是因這些國民的惡，耶和華－你的上帝將他們從你面前趕出去，又因耶和華要堅定他向你列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓所應許的話。

nǐ jìn qù dé tā men de dì ， bìng bú shì yīn nǐ de yì ， yě bú shì yīn nǐ xīn lǐ zhèng zhí ， nǎi shì yīn zhè xiē guó mín de è ， yē hé huá — nǐ de shén jiāng tā men cóng nǐ miàn qián gǎn chū qù ， yòu yīn yē hé huá yào jiān dìng tā xiàng nǐ liè zǔ yà bó lā hǎn 、 yǐ sā 、 yǎ gè qǐ shì suǒ yīng xǔ de huà 。

Not for your righteousness or for the uprightness of your heart do you go in to possess their land; but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD your God does drive them out from before you, and that he may establish the word which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

「你當知道，耶和華－你上帝將這美地賜你為業，並不是因你的義；你本是硬着頸項的百姓。

「 nǐ dāng zhī dào ， yē hé huá — nǐ shén jiāng zhè měi dì cì nǐ wèi yè ， bìng bú shì yīn nǐ de yì ； nǐ běn shì yìng zhe jǐng xiàng de bǎi xìng 。

Know therefore that the LORD your God doesn’t give you this good land to possess for your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked people.

你當記念不忘，你在曠野怎樣惹耶和華－你上帝發怒。自從你出了埃及地的那日，直到你們來到這地方，你們時常悖逆耶和華。

nǐ dāng jì niàn bú wàng ， nǐ zài kuàng yě zěn yàng rě yē hé huá — nǐ shén fā nù 。 zì cóng nǐ chū le āi jí dì de nà rì ， zhí dào nǐ men lái dào zhè dì fāng ， nǐ men shí cháng bèi nì yē hé huá 。

Remember, and don’t forget, how you provoked the LORD your God to wrath in the wilderness. From the day that you left the land of Egypt until you came to this place, you have been rebellious against the LORD.

你們在何烈山又惹耶和華發怒；他惱怒你們，要滅絕你們。

nǐ men zài hé liè shān yòu rě yē hé huá fà nù ； tā nǎo nù nǐ men ， yào miè jué nǐ men 。

Also in Horeb you provoked the LORD to wrath, and the LORD was angry with you to destroy you.

我上了山，要領受兩塊石版，就是耶和華與你們立約的版。那時我在山上住了四十晝夜，沒有吃飯，也沒有喝水。

wǒ shàng le shān ， yào lǐng shòu liǎng kuài shí bǎn ， jiù shì yē hé huá yǔ nǐ men lì yuē de bǎn 。 nà shí wǒ zài shān shàng zhù le sì shí zhòu yè ， méi yǒu chī fàn ， yě méi yǒu hē shuǐ 。

When I had gone up onto the mountain to receive the stone tablets, even the tablets of the covenant which the LORD made with you, then I stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights. I neither ate bread nor drank water.

耶和華把那兩塊石版交給我，是上帝用指頭寫的。版上所寫的是照耶和華在大會的日子、在山上、從火中對你們所說的一切話。

yē hé huá bǎ nà liǎng kuài shí bǎn jiāo gěi wǒ ， shì shén yòng zhǐ tou xiě de 。 bǎn shàng suǒ xiě de shì zhào yē hé huá zài dà huì de rì zi 、 zài shān shàng 、 cóng huǒ zhōng duì nǐ men suǒ shuō de yí qiè huà 。

The LORD delivered to me the two stone tablets written with God’s finger. On them were all the words which the LORD spoke with you on the mountain out of the middle of the fire in the day of the assembly.

過了四十晝夜，耶和華把那兩塊石版，就是約版，交給我。

guò le sì shí zhòu yè ， yē hé huá bǎ nà liǎng kuài shí bǎn ， jiù shì yuē bǎn ， jiāo gěi wǒ 。

It came to pass at the end of forty days and forty nights that the LORD gave me the two stone tablets, even the tablets of the covenant.

對我說：『你起來，趕快下去！因為你從埃及領出來的百姓已經敗壞了自己；他們快快地偏離了我所吩咐的道，為自己鑄成了偶像。』

duì wǒ shuō ：『 nǐ qǐ lái ， gǎn kuài xià qù ！ yīn wèi nǐ cóng āi jí lǐng chū lái de bǎi xìng yǐ jīng bài huài le zì jǐ ； tā men kuài kuài dì piān lí le wǒ suǒ fēn fù de dào ， wèi zì jǐ zhù chéng le ǒu xiàng 。』

The LORD said to me, “Arise, get down quickly from here; for your people whom you have brought out of Egypt have corrupted themselves. They have quickly turned away from the way which I commanded them. They have made a molten image for themselves!”

「耶和華又對我說：『我看這百姓是硬着頸項的百姓。

「 yē hé huá yòu duì wǒ shuō ：『 wǒ kàn zhè bǎi xìng shì yìng zhe jǐng xiàng de bǎi xìng 。

Furthermore the LORD spoke to me, saying, “I have seen these people, and behold, they are a stiff-necked people.

你且由着我，我要滅絕他們，將他們的名從天下塗抹，使你的後裔比他們成為更大更強的國。』

nǐ qiě yóu zhe wǒ ， wǒ yào miè jué tā men ， jiāng tā men de míng cóng tiān xià tú mǒ ， shǐ nǐ de hòu yì bǐ tā men chéng wéi gèng dà gèng qiáng de guó 。』

Leave me alone, that I may destroy them, and blot out their name from under the sky; and I will make of you a nation mightier and greater than they.”

於是我轉身下山，山被火燒着，兩塊約版在我兩手之中。

yú shì wǒ zhuǎn shēn xià shān ， shān bèi huǒ shāo zhe ， liǎng kuài yuē bǎn zài wǒ liǎng shǒu zhī zhōng 。

So I turned and came down from the mountain, and the mountain was burning with fire. The two tablets of the covenant were in my two hands.

我一看見你們得罪了耶和華－你們的上帝，鑄成了牛犢，快快地偏離了耶和華所吩咐你們的道，

wǒ yí kàn jiàn nǐ men dé zuì le yē hé huá — nǐ men de shén ， zhù chéng le niú dú ， kuài kuài dì piān lí le yē hé huá suǒ fēn fù nǐ men de dào ，

I looked, and behold, you had sinned against the LORD your God. You had made yourselves a molded calf. You had quickly turned away from the way which the LORD had commanded you.

我就把那兩塊版從我手中扔下去，在你們眼前摔碎了。

wǒ jiù bǎ nà liǎng kuài bǎn cóng wǒ shǒu zhōng rēng xià qù ， zài nǐ men yǎn qián shuāi suì le 。

I took hold of the two tablets, and threw them out of my two hands, and broke them before your eyes.

因你們所犯的一切罪，行了耶和華眼中看為惡的事，惹他發怒，我就像從前俯伏在耶和華面前四十晝夜，沒有吃飯，也沒有喝水。

yīn nǐ men suǒ fàn de yí qiè zuì ， xíng le yē hé huá yǎn zhōng kàn wèi è de shì ， rě tā fā nù ， wǒ jiù xiàng cóng qián fǔ fú zài yē hé huá miàn qián sì shí zhòu yè ， méi yǒu chī fàn ， yě méi yǒu hē shuǐ 。

I fell down before the LORD, as at the first, forty days and forty nights. I neither ate bread nor drank water, because of all your sin which you sinned, in doing that which was evil in the LORD’s sight, to provoke him to anger.

我因耶和華向你們大發烈怒，要滅絕你們，就甚害怕；但那次耶和華又應允了我。

wǒ yīn yē hé huá xiàng nǐ men dà fā liè nù ， yào miè jué nǐ men ， jiù shèn hài pà ； dàn nà cì yē hé huá yòu yīng yǔn le wǒ 。

For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure with which the LORD was angry against you to destroy you. But the LORD listened to me that time also.

耶和華也向亞倫甚是發怒，要滅絕他；那時我又為亞倫祈禱。

yē hé huá yě xiàng yà lún shèn shì fā nù ， yào miè jué tā ； nà shí wǒ yòu wèi yà lún qí dǎo 。

The LORD was angry enough with Aaron to destroy him. I prayed for Aaron also at the same time.

我把那叫你們犯罪所鑄的牛犢用火焚燒，又搗碎磨得很細，以致細如灰塵，我就把這灰塵撒在從山上流下來的溪水中。

wǒ bǎ nà jiào nǐ men fàn zuì suǒ zhù de niú dú yòng huǒ fén shāo ， yòu dǎo suì mó dé hěn xì ， yǐ zhì xì rú huī chén ， wǒ jiù bǎ zhè huī chén sā zài cóng shān shàng liú xià lái de xī shuǐ zhōng 。

I took your sin, the calf which you had made, and burned it with fire, and crushed it, grinding it very small, until it was as fine as dust. I threw its dust into the brook that descended out of the mountain.

「你們在他備拉、瑪撒、基博羅‧哈他瓦又惹耶和華發怒。

「 nǐ men zài tā bèi lā 、 mǎ sā 、 jī bó luó · hā tā wǎ yòu rě yē hé huá fà nù 。

At Taberah, at Massah, and at Kibroth Hattaavah you provoked the LORD to wrath.

耶和華打發你們離開加低斯‧巴尼亞，說：『你們上去得我所賜給你們的地。』那時你們違背了耶和華－你們上帝的命令，不信服他，不聽從他的話。

yē hé huá dǎ fā nǐ men lí kāi jiā dī sī · bā ní yà ， shuō ：『 nǐ men shàng qù dé wǒ suǒ cì gěi nǐ men de dì 。』 nà shí nǐ men wéi bèi le yē hé huá — nǐ men shén de mìng lìng ， bú xìn fú tā ， bù tīng cóng tā de huà 。

When the LORD sent you from Kadesh Barnea, saying, “Go up and possess the land which I have given you,” you rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God, and you didn’t believe him or listen to his voice.

自從我認識你們以來，你們常常悖逆耶和華。

zì cóng wǒ rèn shi nǐ men yǐ lái ， nǐ men cháng cháng bèi nì yē hé huá 。

You have been rebellious against the LORD from the day that I knew you.

「我因耶和華說要滅絕你們，就在耶和華面前照舊俯伏四十晝夜。

「 wǒ yīn yē hé huá shuō yào miè jué nǐ men ， jiù zài yē hé huá miàn qián zhào jiù fǔ fú sì shí zhòu yè 。

So I fell down before the LORD the forty days and forty nights that I fell down, because the LORD had said he would destroy you.

我祈禱耶和華說：『主耶和華啊，求你不要滅絕你的百姓。他們是你的產業，是你用大力救贖的，用大能從埃及領出來的。

wǒ qí dǎo yē hé huá shuō ：『 zhǔ yē hé huá a ， qiú nǐ bú yào miè jué nǐ de bǎi xìng 。 tā men shì nǐ de chǎn yè ， shì nǐ yòng dà lì jiù shú de ， yòng dà néng cóng āi jí lǐng chū lái de 。

I prayed to the LORD, and said, “Lord GOD, don’t destroy your people and your inheritance that you have redeemed through your greatness, that you have brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

求你記念你的僕人亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各，不要想念這百姓的頑梗、邪惡、罪過，

qiú nǐ jì niàn nǐ de pú rén yà bó lā hǎn 、 yǐ sā 、 yǎ gè ， bú yào xiǎng niàn zhè bǎi xìng de wán gěng 、 xié è 、 zuì guo ，

Remember your servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Don’t look at the stubbornness of this people, nor at their wickedness, nor at their sin,

免得你領我們出來的那地之人說，耶和華因為不能將這百姓領進他所應許之地，又因恨他們，所以領他們出去，要在曠野殺他們。

miǎn de nǐ lǐng wǒ men chū lái de nà dì zhī rén shuō ， yē hé huá yīn wèi bù néng jiāng zhè bǎi xìng lǐng jìn tā suǒ yīng xǔ zhī dì ， yòu yīn hèn tā men ， suǒ yǐ lǐng tā men chū qù ， yào zài kuàng yě shā tā men 。

lest the land you brought us out from say, ‘Because the LORD was not able to bring them into the land which he promised to them, and because he hated them, he has brought them out to kill them in the wilderness.’

其實他們是你的百姓，你的產業，是你用大能和伸出來的膀臂領出來的。』」

qí shí tā men shì nǐ de bǎi xìng ， nǐ de chǎn yè ， shì nǐ yòng dà néng hé shēn chū lái de bǎng bì lǐng chū lái de 。』」

Yet they are your people and your inheritance, which you brought out by your great power and by your outstretched arm.”
