以西結書 18

耶和華的話又臨到我說：

yē hé huá de huà yòu lín dào wǒ shuō ：

The LORD’s word came to me again, saying,

「你們在以色列地怎麼用這俗語說『父親吃了酸葡萄，兒子的牙酸倒了』呢？」

「 nǐ men zài yǐ sè liè dì zěn me yòng zhè sú yǔ shuō 『 fù qīn chī le suān pú táo ， ér zi de yá suān dǎo le 』 ne ？」

“What do you mean, that you use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, ‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge’?

主耶和華說：「我指着我的永生起誓，你們在以色列中，必不再有用這俗語的因由。

zhǔ yē hé huá shuō ：「 wǒ zhǐ zhe wǒ de yǒng shēng qǐ shì ， nǐ men zài yǐ sè liè zhōng ， bì bú zài yǒu yòng zhè sú yǔ de yīn yóu 。

“As I live,” says the Lord GOD, “you shall not use this proverb any more in Israel.

看哪，世人都是屬我的；為父的怎樣屬我，為子的也照樣屬我；犯罪的，他必死亡。

kàn nǎ ， shì rén dōu shì shǔ wǒ de ； wèi fù de zěn yàng shǔ wǒ ， wèi zǐ de yě zhào yàng shǔ wǒ ； fàn zuì de ， tā bì sǐ wáng 。

Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine. The soul who sins, he shall die.

「人若是公義，且行正直與合理的事：

「 rén ruò shì gōng yì ， qiě xíng zhèng zhí yǔ hé lǐ de shì ：

“But if a man is just, and does that which is lawful and right,

未曾在山上吃過祭偶像之物，未曾仰望以色列家的偶像，未曾玷污鄰舍的妻，未曾在婦人的經期內親近她，

wèi céng zài shān shàng chī guò jì ǒu xiàng zhī wù ， wèi céng yǎng wàng yǐ sè liè jiā de ǒu xiàng ， wèi céng diàn wū lín shè de qī ， wèi céng zài fù rén de jīng qī nèi qīn jìn tā ，

and has not eaten on the mountains, hasn’t lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, hasn’t defiled his neighbor’s wife, hasn’t come near a woman in her impurity,

未曾虧負人，乃將欠債之人的當頭還給他；未曾搶奪人的物件，卻將食物給飢餓的人吃，將衣服給赤身的人穿；

wèi céng kuī fù rén ， nǎi jiāng qiàn zhài zhī rén de dāng tóu hái gěi tā ； wèi céng qiǎng duó rén de wù jiàn ， què jiāng shí wù gěi jī è de rén chī ， jiāng yī fu gěi chì shēn de rén chuān ；

and has not wronged any, but has restored to the debtor his pledge, has taken nothing by robbery, has given his bread to the hungry, and has covered the naked with a garment;

未曾向借錢的弟兄取利，也未曾向借糧的弟兄多要，縮手不作罪孽，在兩人之間，按至理判斷；

wèi céng xiàng jiè qián de dì xiong qǔ lì ， yě wèi céng xiàng jiè liáng de dì xiong duō yào ， suō shǒu bú zuò zuì niè ， zài liǎng rén zhī jiān ， àn zhì lǐ pàn duàn ；

he who hasn’t lent to them with interest, hasn’t taken any increase from them, who has withdrawn his hand from iniquity, has executed true justice between man and man,

遵行我的律例，謹守我的典章，按誠實行事－這人是公義的，必定存活。這是主耶和華說的。

zūn xíng wǒ de lǜ lì ， jǐn shǒu wǒ de diǎn zhāng ， àn chéng shí xíng shì — zhè rén shì gōng yì de ， bì dìng cún huó 。 zhè shì zhǔ yē hé huá shuō de 。

has walked in my statutes, and has kept my ordinances, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live,” says the Lord GOD.

「他若生一個兒子，作強盜，是流人血的，不行以上所說之善，反行其中之惡，乃在山上吃過祭偶像之物，並玷污鄰舍的妻，

「 tā ruò shēng yí gè ér zǐ ， zuò qiáng dào ， shì liú rén xuè de ， bù xíng yǐ shàng suǒ shuō zhī shàn ， fǎn xíng qí zhōng zhī è ， nǎi zài shān shàng chī guò jì ǒu xiàng zhī wù ， bìng diàn wū lín shè de qī ，

“If he fathers a son who is a robber who sheds blood, and who does any one of these things,

or who does not do any of those things but has eaten at the mountain shrines and defiled his neighbor’s wife,

虧負困苦和窮乏的人，搶奪人的物，未曾將當頭還給人，仰望偶像，並行可憎的事，

kuī fù kùn kǔ hé qióng fá de rén ， qiǎng duó rén de wù ， wèi céng jiāng dāng tóu hái gěi rén ， yǎng wàng ǒu xiàng ， bìng xíng kě zēng de shì ，

has wronged the poor and needy, has taken by robbery, has not restored the pledge, and has lifted up his eyes to the idols, has committed abomination,

向借錢的弟兄取利，向借糧的弟兄多要－這人豈能存活呢？他必不能存活。他行這一切可憎的事，必要死亡，他的罪 必歸到他身上。

xiàng jiè qián de dì xiong qǔ lì ， xiàng jiè liáng de dì xiong duō yào — zhè rén qǐ néng cún huó ne ？ tā bì bù néng cún huó 。 tā xíng zhè yí qiè kě zēng de shì ， bì yào sǐ wáng ， tā de zuì bì guī dào tā shēn shàng 。

has lent with interest, and has taken increase from the poor, shall he then live? He shall not live. He has done all these abominations. He shall surely die. His blood will be on him.

「他若生一個兒子，見父親所犯的一切罪便懼怕 ，不照樣去做；

「 tā ruò shēng yí gè ér zi ， jiàn fù qīn suǒ fàn de yí qiè zuì biàn jù pà ， bú zhào yàng qù zuò ；

“Now, behold, if he fathers a son who sees all his father’s sins which he has done, and fears, and doesn’t do likewise,

未曾在山上吃過祭偶像之物，未曾仰望以色列家的偶像，未曾玷污鄰舍的妻，

wèi céng zài shān shàng chī guò jì ǒu xiàng zhī wù ， wèi céng yǎng wàng yǐ sè liè jiā de ǒu xiàng ， wèi céng diàn wū lín shè de qī ，

who hasn’t eaten on the mountains, hasn’t lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, hasn’t defiled his neighbor’s wife,

未曾虧負人，未曾取人的當頭，未曾搶奪人的物件，卻將食物給飢餓的人吃，將衣服給赤身的人穿，

wèi céng kuī fù rén ， wèi céng qǔ rén de dāng tóu ， wèi céng qiǎng duó rén de wù jiàn ， què jiāng shí wù gěi jī è de rén chī ， jiāng yī fu gěi chì shēn de rén chuān ，

hasn’t wronged any, hasn’t taken anything to pledge, hasn’t taken by robbery, but has given his bread to the hungry, and has covered the naked with a garment;

縮手不害貧窮人，未曾向借錢的弟兄取利，也未曾向借糧的弟兄多要；他順從我的典章，遵行我的律例，就不因父親的罪孽死亡，定要存活。

suō shǒu bú hài pín qióng rén ， wèi céng xiàng jiè qián de dì xiong qǔ lì ， yě wèi céng xiàng jiè liáng de dì xiong duō yào ； tā shùn cóng wǒ de diǎn zhāng ， zūn xíng wǒ de lǜ lì ， jiù bù yīn fù qīn de zuì niè sǐ wáng ， dìng yào cún huó 。

who has withdrawn his hand from the poor, who hasn’t received interest or increase, has executed my ordinances, has walked in my statutes; he shall not die for the iniquity of his father. He shall surely live.

至於他父親；因為欺人太甚，搶奪弟兄，在本國的民中行不善，他必因自己的罪孽死亡。

zhì yú tā fù qīn ； yīn wèi qī rén tài shèn ， qiǎng duó dì xiong ， zài běn guó de mín zhōng háng bú shàn ， tā bì yīn zì jǐ de zuì niè sǐ wáng 。

As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed, robbed his brother, and did that which is not good among his people, behold, he will die in his iniquity.

「你們還說：『兒子為何不擔當父親的罪孽呢？』兒子行正直與合理的事，謹守遵行我的一切律例，他必定存活。

「 nǐ men hái shuō ：『 ér zi wèi hé bù dān dāng fù qīn de zuì niè ne ？』 ér zi xíng zhèng zhí yǔ hé lǐ de shì ， jǐn shǒu zūn xíng wǒ de yí qiè lǜ lì ， tā bì dìng cún huó 。

“Yet you say, ‘Why doesn’t the son bear the iniquity of the father?’ When the son has done that which is lawful and right, and has kept all my statutes, and has done them, he will surely live.

惟有犯罪的，他必死亡。兒子必不擔當父親的罪孽，父親也不擔當兒子的罪孽。義人的善果必歸自己，惡人的惡報也必歸自己。

wéi yǒu fàn zuì de ， tā bì sǐ wáng 。 ér zi bì bù dān dāng fù qīn de zuì niè ， fù qīn yě bù dān dāng ér zi de zuì niè 。 yì rén de shàn guǒ bì guī zì jǐ ， è rén de è bào yě bì guī zì jǐ 。

The soul who sins, he shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be on him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be on him.

「惡人若回頭離開所做的一切罪惡，謹守我一切的律例，行正直與合理的事，他必定存活，不致死亡。

「 è rén ruò huí tóu lí kāi suǒ zuò de yí qiè zuì è ， jǐn shǒu wǒ yí qiè de lǜ lì ， xíng zhèng zhí yǔ hé lǐ de shì ， tā bì dìng cún huó ， bú zhì sǐ wáng 。

“But if the wicked turns from all his sins that he has committed, and keeps all my statutes, and does that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live. He shall not die.

他所犯的一切罪過都不被記念，因所行的義，他必存活。

tā suǒ fàn de yí qiè zuì guo dōu bú bèi jì niàn ， yīn suǒ xíng de yì ， tā bì cún huó 。

None of his transgressions that he has committed will be remembered against him. In his righteousness that he has done, he shall live.

主耶和華說：惡人死亡，豈是我喜悅的嗎？不是喜悅他回頭離開所行的道存活嗎？

zhǔ yē hé huá shuō ： è rén sǐ wáng ， qǐ shì wǒ xǐ yuè de ma ？ bú shì xǐ yuè tā huí tóu lí kāi suǒ xíng de dào cún huó ma ？

Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked?” says the Lord GOD, “and not rather that he should return from his way, and live?

義人若轉離義行而作罪孽，照着惡人所行一切可憎的事而行，他豈能存活嗎？他所行的一切義都不被記念；他必因所犯的罪、所行的惡死亡。

yì rén ruò zhuǎn lí yì xíng ér zuò zuì niè ， zhào zhe è rén suǒ xíng yí qiè kě zēng de shì ér xíng ， tā qǐ néng cún huó ma ？ tā suǒ xíng de yí qiè yì dōu bú bèi jì niàn ； tā bì yīn suǒ fàn de zuì 、 suǒ xíng de è sǐ wáng 。

“But when the righteous turns away from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, should he live? None of his righteous deeds that he has done will be remembered. In his trespass that he has trespassed, and in his sin that he has sinned, in them he shall die.

「你們還說：『主的道不公平！』以色列家啊，你們當聽，我的道豈不公平嗎？你們的道豈不是不公平嗎？

「 nǐ men hái shuō ：『 zhǔ de dào bù gōng píng ！』 yǐ sè liè jiā a ， nǐ men dāng tīng ， wǒ de dào qǐ bù gōng píng ma ？ nǐ men de dào qǐ bú shì bù gōng píng ma ？

“Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not equal.’ Hear now, house of Israel: Is my way not equal? Aren’t your ways unequal?

義人若轉離義行而作罪孽死亡，他是因所作的罪孽死亡。

yì rén ruò zhuǎn lí yì xíng ér zuò zuì niè sǐ wáng ， tā shì yīn suǒ zuò de zuì niè sǐ wáng 。

When the righteous man turns away from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, and dies in it, then he dies in his iniquity that he has done.

再者，惡人若回頭離開所行的惡，行正直與合理的事，他必將性命救活了。

zài zhě ， è rén ruò huí tóu lí kāi suǒ xíng de è ， xíng zhèng zhí yǔ hé lǐ de shì ， tā bì jiāng xìng mìng jiù huó le 。

Again, when the wicked man turns away from his wickedness that he has committed, and does that which is lawful and right, he will save his soul alive.

因為他思量，回頭離開所犯的一切罪過，必定存活，不致死亡。

yīn wèi tā sī liang ， huí tóu lí kāi suǒ fàn de yí qiè zuì guo ， bì dìng cún huó ， bú zhì sǐ wáng 。

Because he considers, and turns away from all his transgressions that he has committed, he shall surely live. He shall not die.

以色列家還說：『主的道不公平！』以色列家啊，我的道豈不公平嗎？你們的道豈不是不公平嗎？」

yǐ sè liè jiā hái shuō ：『 zhǔ de dào bù gōng píng ！』 yǐ sè liè jiā a ， wǒ de dào qǐ bù gōng píng ma ？ nǐ men de dào qǐ bú shì bù gōng píng ma ？」

Yet the house of Israel says, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ House of Israel, aren’t my ways fair? Aren’t your ways unfair?

所以主耶和華說：「以色列家啊，我必按你們各人所行的審判你們。你們當回頭離開所犯的一切罪過。這樣，罪孽必不使你們敗亡。

suǒ yǐ zhǔ yē hé huá shuō ：「 yǐ sè liè jiā a ， wǒ bì àn nǐ men gè rén suǒ xíng de shěn pàn nǐ men 。 nǐ men dāng huí tóu lí kāi suǒ fàn de yí qiè zuì guo 。 zhè yàng ， zuì niè bì bù shǐ nǐ men bài wáng 。

“Therefore I will judge you, house of Israel, everyone according to his ways,” says the Lord GOD. “Return, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions, so iniquity will not be your ruin.

你們要將所犯的一切罪過盡行拋棄，自做一個新心和新靈。以色列家啊，你們何必死亡呢？

nǐ men yào jiāng suǒ fàn de yí qiè zuì guo jìn xíng pāo qì ， zì zuò yí gè xīn xīn hé xīn líng 。 yǐ sè liè jiā a ， nǐ men hé bì sǐ wáng ne ？

Cast away from you all your transgressions in which you have transgressed; and make yourself a new heart and a new spirit. For why will you die, house of Israel?

主耶和華說：我不喜悅那死人之死，所以你們當回頭而存活。」

zhǔ yē hé huá shuō ： wǒ bù xǐ yuè nà sǐ rén zhī sǐ ， suǒ yǐ nǐ men dāng huí tóu ér cún huó 。」

For I have no pleasure in the death of him who dies,” says the Lord GOD. “Therefore turn yourselves, and live!
