創世記 28

以撒叫了雅各來，給他祝福，並囑咐他說：「你不要娶迦南的女子為妻。

yǐ sā jiào le yǎ gè lái ， gěi tā zhù fú ， bìng zhǔ fù tā shuō ：「 nǐ bú yào qǔ jiā nán de nǚ zǐ wèi qī 。

Isaac called Jacob, blessed him, and commanded him, “You shall not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.

你起身往巴旦‧亞蘭去，到你外祖彼土利家裏，在你母舅拉班的女兒中娶一女為妻。

nǐ qǐ shēn wǎng bā dàn · yà lán qù ， dào nǐ wài zǔ bǐ tǔ lì jiā lǐ ， zài nǐ mǔ jiù lā bān de nǚ ér zhōng qǔ yì nǚ wèi qī 。

Arise, go to Paddan Aram, to the house of Bethuel your mother’s father. Take a wife from there from the daughters of Laban, your mother’s brother.

願全能的上帝賜福給你，使你生養眾多，成為多族，

yuàn quán néng de shén cì fú gěi nǐ ， shǐ nǐ shēng yǎng zhòng duō ， chéng wéi duō zú ，

May God Almighty bless you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, that you may be a company of peoples,

將應許亞伯拉罕的福賜給你和你的後裔，使你承受你所寄居的地為業，就是上帝賜給亞伯拉罕的地。」

jiāng yīng xǔ yà bó lā hǎn de fú cì gěi nǐ hé nǐ de hòu yì ， shǐ nǐ chéng shòu nǐ suǒ jì jū de dì wèi yè ， jiù shì shén cì gěi yà bó lā hǎn de dì 。」

and give you the blessing of Abraham, to you and to your offspring with you, that you may inherit the land where you travel, which God gave to Abraham.”

以撒打發雅各走了，他就往巴旦‧亞蘭去，到亞蘭人彼土利的兒子拉班那裏。拉班是雅各、以掃的母舅。

yǐ sā dǎ fā yǎ gè zǒu le ， tā jiù wǎng bā dàn · yà lán qù ， dào yà lán rén bǐ tǔ lì de ér zi lā bān nà lǐ 。 lā bān shì yǎ gè 、 yǐ sǎo de mǔ jiù 。

Isaac sent Jacob away. He went to Paddan Aram to Laban, son of Bethuel the Syrian, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob’s and Esau’s mother.

以掃見以撒已經給雅各祝福，而且打發他往巴旦‧亞蘭去，在那裏娶妻，並見祝福的時候囑咐他說：「不要娶迦南的女子為妻」，

yǐ sǎo jiàn yǐ sā yǐ jīng gěi yǎ gè zhù fú ， ér qiě dǎ fā tā wǎng bā dàn · yà lán qù ， zài nà lǐ qǔ qī ， bìng jiàn zhù fú de shí hòu zhǔ fù tā shuō ：「 bú yào qǔ jiā nán de nǚ zǐ wèi qī 」，

Now Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob and sent him away to Paddan Aram, to take him a wife from there, and that as he blessed him he gave him a command, saying, “You shall not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan;”

又見雅各聽從父母的話往巴旦‧亞蘭去了，

yòu jiàn yǎ gè tīng cóng fù mǔ de huà wǎng bā dàn · yà lán qù le ，

and that Jacob obeyed his father and his mother, and was gone to Paddan Aram.

以掃就曉得他父親以撒看不中迦南的女子，

yǐ sǎo jiù xiǎo de tā fù qīn yǐ sā kàn bù zhōng jiā nán de nǚ zǐ ，

Esau saw that the daughters of Canaan didn’t please Isaac, his father.

便往以實瑪利那裏去，在他二妻之外又娶了瑪哈拉為妻。她是亞伯拉罕兒子以實瑪利的女兒，尼拜約的妹子。

biàn wǎng yǐ shí mǎ lì nà lǐ qù ， zài tā èr qī zhī wài yòu qǔ le mǎ hā lā wèi qī 。 tā shì yà bó lā hǎn ér zi yǐ shí mǎ lì de nǚ ér ， ní bài yuē de mèi zǐ 。

So Esau went to Ishmael, and took, in addition to the wives that he had, Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, the sister of Nebaioth, to be his wife.

雅各出了別是巴，向哈蘭走去；

yǎ gè chū le bié shì bā ， xiàng hā lán zǒu qù ；

Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran.

到了一個地方，因為太陽落了，就在那裏住宿，便拾起那地方的一塊石頭枕在頭下，在那裏躺臥睡了，

dào le yí gè dì fāng ， yīn wèi tài yáng luò le ， jiù zài nà lǐ zhù sù ， biàn shí qǐ nà dì fāng de yí kuài shí tou zhěn zài tóu xià ， zài nà lǐ tǎng wò shuì le ，

He came to a certain place, and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. He took one of the stones of the place, and put it under his head, and lay down in that place to sleep.

夢見一個梯子立在地上，梯子的頭頂着天，有上帝的使者在梯子上，上去下來。

mèng jiàn yí gè tī zǐ lì zài dì shàng ， tī zǐ de tóu dǐng zhe tiān ， yǒu shén de shǐ zhě zài tī zǐ shàng ， shàng qù xià lái 。

He dreamed and saw a stairway set upon the earth, and its top reached to heaven. Behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.

耶和華站在梯子以上 ，說：「我是耶和華－你祖亞伯拉罕的上帝，也是以撒的上帝；我要將你現在所躺臥之地賜給你和你的後裔。

yē hé huá zhàn zài tī zǐ yǐ shàng ， shuō ：「 wǒ shì yē hé huá — nǐ zǔ yà bó lā hǎn de shén ， yě shì yǐ sā de shén ； wǒ yào jiāng nǐ xiàn zài suǒ tǎng wò zhī dì cì gěi nǐ hé nǐ de hòu yì 。

Behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, “I am the LORD, the God of Abraham your father, and the God of Isaac. I will give the land you lie on to you and to your offspring.

你的後裔必像地上的塵沙那樣多，必向東西南北開展；地上萬族必因你和你的後裔得福。

nǐ de hòu yì bì xiàng dì shàng de chén shā nà yàng duō ， bì xiàng dōng xī nán běi kāi zhǎn ； dì shàng wàn zú bì yīn nǐ hé nǐ de hòu yì dé fú 。

Your offspring will be as the dust of the earth, and you will spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. In you and in your offspring, all the families of the earth will be blessed.

我也與你同在。你無論往哪裏去，我必保佑你，領你歸回這地，總不離棄你，直到我成全了向你所應許的。」

wǒ yě yǔ nǐ tóng zài 。 nǐ wú lùn wǎng nǎ lǐ qù ， wǒ bì bǎo yòu nǐ ， lǐng nǐ guī huí zhè dì ， zǒng bù lí qì nǐ ， zhí dào wǒ chéng quán le xiàng nǐ suǒ yīng xǔ de 。」

Behold, I am with you, and will keep you, wherever you go, and will bring you again into this land. For I will not leave you until I have done that which I have spoken of to you.”

雅各睡醒了，說：「耶和華真在這裏，我竟不知道！」

yǎ gè shuì xǐng le ， shuō ：「 yē hé huá zhēn zài zhè lǐ ， wǒ jìng bù zhī dào ！」

Jacob awakened out of his sleep, and he said, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I didn’t know it.”

就懼怕，說：「這地方何等可畏！這不是別的，乃是上帝的殿，也是天的門。」

jiù jù pà ， shuō ：「 zhè dì fāng hé děng kě wèi ！ zhè bú shì bié de ， nǎi shì shén de diàn ， yě shì tiān de mén 。」

He was afraid, and said, “How awesome this place is! This is none other than God’s house, and this is the gate of heaven.”

雅各清早起來，把所枕的石頭立作柱子，澆油在上面。

yǎ gè qīng zǎo qǐ lái ， bǎ suǒ zhěn de shí tou lì zuò zhù zi ， jiāo yóu zài shàng miàn 。

Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put under his head, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil on its top.

他就給那地方起名叫伯特利 ；但那地方起先名叫路斯。

tā jiù gěi nà dì fāng qǐ míng jiào bó tè lì ； dàn nà dì fāng qǐ xiān míng jiào lù sī 。

He called the name of that place Bethel, but the name of the city was Luz at the first.

雅各許願說：「上帝若與我同在，在我所行的路上保佑我，又給我食物吃，衣服穿，

yǎ gè xǔ yuàn shuō ：「 shén ruò yǔ wǒ tóng zài ， zài wǒ suǒ xíng de lù shang bǎo yòu wǒ ， yòu gěi wǒ shí wù chī ， yī fu chuān ，

Jacob vowed a vow, saying, “If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and clothing to put on,

使我平平安安地回到我父親的家，我就必以耶和華為我的上帝。

shǐ wǒ píng píng ān ān dì huí dào wǒ fù qīn de jiā ， wǒ jiù bì yǐ yē hé huá wèi wǒ de shén 。

so that I come again to my father’s house in peace, and the LORD will be my God,

我所立為柱子的石頭也必作上帝的殿；凡你所賜給我的，我必將十分之一獻給你。」

wǒ suǒ lì wèi zhù zi de shí tou yě bì zuò shén de diàn ； fán nǐ suǒ cì gěi wǒ de ， wǒ bì jiāng shí fēn zhī yī xiàn gěi nǐ 。」

then this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, will be God’s house. Of all that you will give me I will surely give a tenth to you.”
