wǒ men suǒ jiǎng de shì , qí zhōng dì yī yào jǐn de , jiù shì wǒ men yǒu zhè yàng de dà jì sī , yǐ jīng zuò zài tiān shàng zhì dà zhě bǎo zuò de yòu biān ,

Now in the things which we are saying, the main point is this: we have such a high priest, who sat down on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,

zài shèng suǒ , jiù shì zhēn zhàng mù lǐ , zuò zhí shì ; zhè zhàng mù shì zhǔ suǒ zhī de , bú shì rén suǒ zhī de 。

a servant of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord pitched, not man.

fán dà jì sī dōu shì wèi xiàn lǐ wù hé jì wù shè lì de , suǒ yǐ zhè wèi dà jì sī yě bì xū yǒu suǒ xiàn de 。

For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices. Therefore it is necessary that this high priest also have something to offer.

tā ruò zài dì shàng , bì bù dé wèi jì sī , yīn wèi yǐ jīng yǒu zhào lǜ fǎ xiàn lǐ wù de jì sī 。

For if he were on earth, he would not be a priest at all, seeing there are priests who offer the gifts according to the law,

tā men gòng fèng de shì běn shì tiān shàng shì de xíng zhuàng hé yǐng xiàng , zhèng rú mó xī jiāng yào zào zhàng mù de shí hòu , méng shén jǐng jiè tā , shuō :「 nǐ yào jǐn shèn , zuò gè yàng de wù jiàn dōu yào zhào zhe zài shān shàng zhǐ shì nǐ de yàng shì 。」

who serve a copy and shadow of the heavenly things, even as Moses was warned by God when he was about to make the tabernacle, for he said, “See, you shall make everything according to the pattern that was shown to you on the mountain.”

rú jīn yē sū suǒ dé de zhí rèn shì gèng měi de , zhèng rú tā zuò gèng měi zhī yuē de zhōng bǎo ; zhè yuē yuán shì píng gèng měi zhī yīng xǔ lì de 。

But now he has obtained a more excellent ministry, by as much as he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which on better promises has been given as law.

nà qián yuē ruò méi yǒu xiá cī , jiù wú chù xún qiú hòu yuē le 。

For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.

suǒ yǐ zhǔ zhǐ zé tā de bǎi xìng shuō : rì zi jiāng dào , wǒ yào yǔ yǐ sè liè jiā hé yóu dà jiā lìng lì xīn yuē ,

For finding fault with them, he said, “Behold, the days are coming”, says the Lord, “that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah;

bú xiàng wǒ lā zhe tā men zǔ zōng de shǒu , lǐng tā men chū āi jí de shí hòu , yǔ tā men suǒ lì de yuē 。 yīn wèi tā men bù héng xīn shǒu wǒ de yuē , wǒ yě bù lǐ tā men 。 zhè shì zhǔ shuō de 。

not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; for they didn’t continue in my covenant, and I disregarded them,” says the Lord.

zhǔ yòu shuō : nà xiē rì zi yǐ hòu , wǒ yǔ yǐ sè liè jiā suǒ lì de yuē nǎi shì zhè yàng : wǒ yào jiāng wǒ de lǜ fǎ fàng zài tā men lǐ miàn , xiě zài tā men xīn shàng ; wǒ yào zuò tā men de shén ; tā men yào zuò wǒ de zǐ mín 。

“For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” says the Lord: “I will put my laws into their mind; I will also write them on their heart. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

tā men bú yòng gè rén jiào dǎo zì jǐ de xiāng lín hé zì jǐ de dì xiong , shuō : nǐ gāi rèn shi zhǔ ; yīn wèi tā men cóng zuì xiǎo de dào zhì dà de , dōu bì rèn shi wǒ 。

They will not teach every man his fellow citizen and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for all will know me, from their least to their greatest.

wǒ yào kuān shù tā men de bú yì , bú zài jì niàn tā men de zuì qiān 。

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness. I will remember their sins and lawless deeds no more.”

jì shuō xīn yuē , jiù yǐ qián yuē wèi jiù le ; dàn nà jiàn jiù jiàn shuāi de , jiù bì kuài guī wú yǒu le 。

In that he says, “A new covenant”, he has made the first obsolete. But that which is becoming obsolete and grows aged is near to vanishing away.
