我來的時候，為何無人等候呢？ 我呼喚的時候，為何無人答應呢？ 我的膀臂豈是縮短、不能救贖嗎？ 我豈無拯救之力嗎？ 看哪，我一斥責，海就乾了； 我使江河變為曠野； 其中的魚因無水腥臭，乾渴而死。
wǒ lái de shí hòu ， wèi hé wú rén děng hòu ne ？ wǒ hū huàn de shí hòu ， wèi hé wú rén dā ying ne ？ wǒ de bǎng bì qǐ shì suō duǎn 、 bù néng jiù shú ma ？ wǒ qǐ wú zhěng jiù zhī lì ma ？ kàn nǎ ， wǒ yí chì zé ， hǎi jiù gān le ； wǒ shǐ jiāng hé biàn wèi kuàng yě ； qí zhōng de yú yīn wú shuǐ xīng chòu ， gān kě ér sǐ 。
Why, when I came, was there no one? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it can’t redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea. I make the rivers a wilderness. Their fish stink because there is no water, and die of thirst.
