耶利米書 40

耶利米鎖在耶路撒冷和猶大被擄到巴比倫的人中，護衛長尼布撒拉旦將他從拉瑪釋放以後，耶和華的話臨到耶利米。

yē lì mǐ suǒ zài yē lù sā lěng hé yóu dà bèi lǔ dào bā bǐ lún de rén zhōng ， hù wèi cháng ní bù sā lā dàn jiāng tā cóng lā mǎ shì fàng yǐ hòu ， yē hé huá de huà lín dào yē lì mǐ 。

The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, after Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him being bound in chains among all the captives of Jerusalem and Judah who were carried away captive to Babylon.

護衛長將耶利米叫來，對他說：「耶和華－你的上帝曾說要降這禍與此地。

hù wèi cháng jiāng yē lì mǐ jiào lái ， duì tā shuō ：「 yē hé huá — nǐ de shén céng shuō yào jiàng zhè huò yǔ cǐ dì 。

The captain of the guard took Jeremiah and said to him, “The LORD your God pronounced this evil on this place;

耶和華使這禍臨到，照他所說的行了；因為你們得罪耶和華，沒有聽從他的話，所以這事臨到你們。

yē hé huá shǐ zhè huò lín dào ， zhào tā suǒ shuō de xíng le ； yīn wèi nǐ men dé zuì yē hé huá ， méi yǒu tīng cóng tā de huà ， suǒ yǐ zhè shì lín dào nǐ men 。

and the LORD has brought it, and done according as he spoke. Because you have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed his voice, therefore this thing has come on you.

現在我解開你手上的鍊子，你若看與我同往巴比倫去好，就可以去，我必厚待你；你若看與我同往巴比倫去不好，就不必去。看哪，全地在你面前，你以為哪裏美好，哪裏合宜，只管上那裏去吧！」

xiàn zài wǒ jiě kāi nǐ shǒu shàng de liàn zǐ ， nǐ ruò kàn yǔ wǒ tóng wǎng bā bǐ lún qù hǎo ， jiù kě yǐ qù ， wǒ bì hòu dài nǐ ； nǐ ruò kàn yǔ wǒ tóng wǎng bā bǐ lún qù bù hǎo ， jiù bú bì qù 。 kàn nǎ ， quán dì zài nǐ miàn qián ， nǐ yǐ wéi nǎ lǐ měi hǎo ， nǎ lǐ hé yí ， zhǐ guǎn shàng nà lǐ qù ba ！」

Now, behold, I release you today from the chains which are on your hand. If it seems good to you to come with me into Babylon, come, and I will take care of you; but if it seems bad to you to come with me into Babylon, don’t. Behold, all the land is before you. Where it seems good and right to you to go, go there.”

耶利米還沒有回去，護衛長說：「你可以回到沙番的孫子亞希甘的兒子基大利那裏去；現在巴比倫王立他作猶大城邑的省長。你可以在他那裏住在民中，不然，你看哪裏合宜就可以上那裏去。」於是護衛長送他糧食和禮物，釋放他去了。

yē lì mǐ hái méi yǒu huí qù ， hù wèi cháng shuō ：「 nǐ kě yǐ huí dào shā fān de sūn zi yà xī gān de ér zǐ jī dà lì nà lǐ qù ； xiàn zài bā bǐ lún wáng lì tā zuò yóu dài chéng yì de shěng zhǎng 。 nǐ kě yǐ zài tā nà lǐ zhù zài mín zhōng ， bù rán ， nǐ kàn nǎ lǐ hé yí jiù kě yǐ shàng nà lǐ qù 。」 yú shì hù wèi cháng sòng tā liáng shí hé lǐ wù ， shì fàng tā qù le 。

Now while he had not yet gone back, “Go back then,” he said, “to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people; or go wherever it seems right to you to go.” So the captain of the guard gave him food and a present, and let him go.

耶利米就到米斯巴見亞希甘的兒子基大利，在他那裏住在境內剩下的民中。

yē lì mǐ jiù dào mǐ sī bā jiàn yà xī gān de ér zi jī dà lì ， zài tā nà lǐ zhù zài jìng nèi shèng xià de mín zhōng 。

Then Jeremiah went to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah, and lived with him among the people who were left in the land.

在田野的一切軍長和屬他們的人聽見巴比倫王立了亞希甘的兒子基大利作境內的省長，並將沒有擄到巴比倫的男人、婦女、孩童，和境內極窮的人全交給他。

zài tián yě de yí qiè jūn zhǎng hé shǔ tā men de rén tīng jiàn bā bǐ lún wáng lì le yà xī gān de ér zi jī dà lì zuò jìng nèi de shěng zhǎng ， bìng jiāng méi yǒu lǔ dào bā bǐ lún de nán rén 、 fù nǚ 、 hái tóng ， hé jìng nèi jí qióng de rén quán jiāo gěi tā 。

Now when all the captains of the forces who were in the fields, even they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed to him men, women, children, and of the poorest of the land, of those who were not carried away captive to Babylon,

於是軍長尼探雅的兒子以實瑪利，加利亞的兩個兒子約哈難和約拿單，單戶篾的兒子西萊雅，並尼陀法人以斐的眾子，瑪迦人的兒子耶撒尼亞和屬他們的人，都到米斯巴見基大利。

yú shì jūn cháng ní tàn yǎ de ér zi yǐ shí mǎ lì ， jiā lì yà de liǎng gè ér zi yuē hā nán hé yuē ná dān ， dān hù miè de ér zi xī lái yǎ ， bìng ní tuó fǎ rén yǐ fěi de zhòng zǐ ， mǎ jiā rén de ér zi yē sā ní yà hé shǔ tā men de rén ， dōu dào mǐ sī bā jiàn jī dà lì 。

then Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan and Jonathan the sons of Kareah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth, and the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, and Jezaniah the son of the Maacathite, they and their men came to Gedaliah to Mizpah.

沙番的孫子亞希甘的兒子基大利向他們和屬他們的人起誓說：「不要怕服事迦勒底人，只管住在這地，服事巴比倫王，就可以得福。

shā fān de sūn zi yà xī gān de ér zǐ jī dà lì xiàng tā men hé shǔ tā men de rén qǐ shì shuō ：「 bú yào pà fú shì jiā lè dǐ rén ， zhǐ guǎn zhù zài zhè dì ， fú shì bā bǐ lún wáng ， jiù kě yǐ dé fú 。

Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan swore to them and to their men, saying, “Don’t be afraid to serve the Chaldeans. Dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it will be well with you.

至於我，我要住在米斯巴，伺候那到我們這裏來的迦勒底人；只是你們當積蓄酒、油，和夏天的果子，收在器皿裏，住在你們所佔的城邑中。」

zhì yú wǒ ， wǒ yào zhù zài mǐ sī bā ， cì hou nà dào wǒ men zhè lǐ lái de jiā lè dǐ rén ； zhǐ shì nǐ men dāng jī xù jiǔ 、 yóu ， hé xià tiān de guǒ zǐ ， shōu zài qì mǐn lǐ ， zhù zài nǐ men suǒ zhàn de chéng yì zhōng 。」

As for me, behold, I will dwell at Mizpah, to stand before the Chaldeans who will come to us; but you, gather wine and summer fruits and oil, and put them in your vessels, and dwell in your cities that you have taken.”

在摩押地和亞捫人中，在以東地和各國的一切猶大人，聽見巴比倫王留下些猶大人，並立沙番的孫子亞希甘的兒子基大利管理他們。

zài mó yā dì hé yà mén rén zhōng ， zài yǐ dōng dì hé gè guó de yí qiè yóu dà rén ， tīng jiàn bā bǐ lún wáng liú xià xiē yóu dà rén ， bìng lì shā fān de sūn zi yà xī gān de ér zi jī dà lì guǎn lǐ tā men 。

Likewise when all the Jews who were in Moab, and among the children of Ammon, and in Edom, and who were in all the countries, heard that the king of Babylon had left a remnant of Judah, and that he had set over them Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan,

這一切猶大人就從所趕到的各處回來，到猶大地米斯巴的基大利那裏，又積蓄了許多的酒，並夏天的果子。

zhè yí qiè yóu dà rén jiù cóng suǒ gǎn dào de gè chù huí lái ， dào yóu dà dì de mǐ sī bā jī dà lì nà lǐ ， yòu jī xù le xǔ duō de jiǔ ， bìng xià tiān de guǒ zǐ 。

then all the Jews returned out of all places where they were driven, and came to the land of Judah, to Gedaliah, to Mizpah, and gathered very much wine and summer fruits.

加利亞的兒子約哈難和在田野的一切軍長來到米斯巴見基大利，

jiā lì yà de ér zi yuē hā nán hé zài tián yě de yí qiè jūn zhǎng lái dào mǐ sī bā jiàn jī dà lì ，

Moreover Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces who were in the fields, came to Gedaliah to Mizpah,

對他說：「亞捫人的王巴利斯打發尼探雅的兒子以實瑪利來要你的命，你知道嗎？」亞希甘的兒子基大利卻不信他們的話。

duì tā shuō ：「 yà mén rén de wáng bā lì sī dǎ fā ní tàn yǎ de ér zi yǐ shí mǎ lì lái yào nǐ de mìng ， nǐ zhī dào ma ？」 yà xī gān de ér zi jī dà lì què bú xìn tā men de huà 。

and said to him, “Do you know that Baalis the king of the children of Ammon has sent Ishmael the son of Nethaniah to take your life?” But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam didn’t believe them.

加利亞的兒子約哈難在米斯巴私下對基大利說：「求你容我去殺尼探雅的兒子以實瑪利，必無人知道。何必讓他要你的命，使聚集到你這裏來的猶大人都分散，以致猶大剩下的人都滅亡呢？」

jiā lì yà de ér zi yuē hā nán zài mǐ sī bā sī xià duì jī dà lì shuō ：「 qiú nǐ róng wǒ qù shā ní tàn yǎ de ér zi yǐ shí mǎ lì ， bì wú rén zhī dào 。 hé bì ràng tā yào nǐ de mìng ， shǐ jù jí dào nǐ zhè lǐ lái de yóu dà rén dōu fēn sàn ， yǐ zhì yóu dà shèng xià de rén dōu miè wáng ne ？」

Then Johanan the son of Kareah spoke to Gedaliah in Mizpah secretly, saying, “Please let me go, and I will kill Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and no man will know it. Why should he take your life, that all the Jews who are gathered to you should be scattered, and the remnant of Judah perish?”

亞希甘的兒子基大利對加利亞的兒子約哈難說：「你不可行這事，你所論以實瑪利的話是假的。」

yà xī gān de ér zi jī dà lì duì jiā lì yà de ér zi yuē hā nán shuō ：「 nǐ bù kě xíng zhè shì ， nǐ suǒ lùn yǐ shí mǎ lì de huà shì jiǎ de 。」

But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam said to Johanan the son of Kareah, “You shall not do this thing, for you speak falsely of Ishmael.”
