耶利米書 5

你們當在耶路撒冷的街上跑來跑去， 在寬闊處尋找， 看看有一人行公義求誠實沒有？ 若有，我就赦免這城。

nǐ men dāng zài yē lù sā lěng de jiē shàng pǎo lái pǎo qù ， zài kuān kuò chù xún zhǎo ， kàn kàn yǒu yì rén xíng gōng yì qiú chéng shí méi yǒu ？ ruò yǒu ， wǒ jiù shè miǎn zhè chéng 。

“Run back and forth through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in its wide places, if you can find a man, if there is anyone who does justly, who seeks truth, then I will pardon her.

其中的人雖然指着永生的耶和華起誓， 所起的誓實在是假的。

qí zhōng de rén suī rán zhǐ zhe yǒng shēng de yē hé huá qǐ shì ， suǒ qǐ de shì shí zài shì jiǎ de 。

Though they say, ‘As the LORD lives,’ surely they swear falsely.”

耶和華啊，你的眼目不是看顧誠實嗎？ 你擊打他們，他們卻不傷慟； 你毀滅他們，他們仍不受懲治。 他們使臉剛硬過於磐石， 不肯回頭。

yē hé huá a ， nǐ de yǎn mù bú shì kàn gù chéng shí ma ？ nǐ jī dǎ tā men ， tā men què bù shāng tòng ； nǐ huǐ miè tā men ， tā men réng bú shòu chéng zhì 。 tā men shǐ liǎn gāng yìng guò yú pán shí ， bù kěn huí tóu 。

O LORD, don’t your eyes look on truth? You have stricken them, but they were not grieved. You have consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction. They have made their faces harder than a rock. They have refused to return.

我說：這些人實在是貧窮的，是愚昧的， 因為不曉得耶和華的作為 和他們上帝的法則。

wǒ shuō ： zhè xiē rén shí zài shì pín qióng de ， shì yú mèi de ， yīn wèi bù xiǎo de yē hé huá de zuò wéi hé tā men shén de fǎ zé 。

Then I said, “Surely these are poor. They are foolish; for they don’t know the LORD’s way, nor the law of their God.

我要去見尊大的人，對他們說話， 因為他們曉得耶和華的作為 和他們上帝的法則。 哪知，這些人齊心將軛折斷， 掙開繩索。

wǒ yào qù jiàn zūn dà de rén ， duì tā men shuō huà ， yīn wèi tā men xiǎo de yē hé huá de zuò wéi hé tā men shén de fǎ zé 。 nǎ zhī ， zhè xiē rén qí xīn jiāng è zhé duàn ， zhèng kāi shéng suǒ 。

I will go to the great men and will speak to them, for they know the way of the LORD, and the law of their God.” But these with one accord have broken the yoke, and burst the bonds.

因此，林中的獅子必害死他們； 晚上 的豺狼必滅絕他們； 豹子要在城外窺伺他們。 凡出城的必被撕碎； 因為他們的罪過極多， 背道的事也加增了。

yīn cǐ ， lín zhōng de shī zi bì hài sǐ tā men ； wǎn shàng de chái láng bì miè jué tā men ； bào zi yào zài chéng wài kuī sì tā men 。 fán chū chéng de bì bèi sī suì ； yīn wèi tā men de zuì guo jí duō ， bèi dào de shì yě jiā zēng le 。

Therefore a lion out of the forest will kill them. A wolf of the evenings will destroy them. A leopard will watch against their cities. Everyone who goes out there will be torn in pieces, because their transgressions are many and their backsliding has increased.

我怎能赦免你呢？ 你的兒女離棄我， 又指着那不是神的起誓。 我使他們飽足， 他們就行姦淫， 成群地聚集在娼妓家裏。

wǒ zěn néng shè miǎn nǐ ne ？ nǐ de ér nǚ lí qì wǒ ， yòu zhǐ zhe nà bú shì shén de qǐ shì 。 wǒ shǐ tā men bǎo zú ， tā men jiù xíng jiān yín ， chéng qún dì jù jí zài chāng jì jiā lǐ 。

“How can I pardon you? Your children have forsaken me, and sworn by what are no gods. When I had fed them to the full, they committed adultery, and assembled themselves in troops at the prostitutes’ houses.

他們像餵飽的馬到處亂跑， 各向他鄰舍的妻發嘶聲。

tā men xiàng wèi bǎo de mǎ dào chù luàn pǎo ， gè xiàng tā lín shè de qī fā sī shēng 。

They were as fed horses roaming at large. Everyone neighed after his neighbor’s wife.

耶和華說：我豈不因這些事討罪呢？ 豈不報復這樣的國民呢？

yē hé huá shuō ： wǒ qǐ bù yīn zhè xiē shì tǎo zuì ne ？ qǐ bú bào fù zhè yàng de guó mín ne ？

Shouldn’t I punish them for these things?” says the LORD. “Shouldn’t my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

你們要上她葡萄園的牆施行毀壞， 但不可毀壞淨盡， 只可除掉她的枝子， 因為不屬耶和華。

nǐ men yào shàng tā pú táo yuán de qiáng shī xíng huǐ huài ， dàn bù kě huǐ huài jìng jìn ， zhī kě chú diào tā de zhī zǐ ， yīn wèi bù shǔ yē hé huá 。

“Go up on her walls, and destroy, but don’t make a full end. Take away her branches, for they are not the LORD’s.

原來以色列家和猶大家大行詭詐攻擊我。 這是耶和華說的。

yuán lái yǐ sè liè jiā hé yóu dà jiā dà xíng guǐ zhà gōng jī wǒ 。 zhè shì yē hé huá shuō de 。

For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me,” says the LORD.

他們不認耶和華，說： 這並不是他， 災禍必不臨到我們； 刀劍和饑荒，我們也看不見。

tā men bú rèn yē hé huá ， shuō ： zhè bìng bú shì tā ， zāi huò bì bù lín dào wǒ men ； dāo jiàn hé jī huāng ， wǒ men yě kàn bú jiàn 。

They have denied the LORD, and said, “It is not he. Evil won’t come on us. We won’t see sword or famine.

先知的話必成為風； 道也不在他們裏面。 這災必臨到他們身上。

xiān zhī de huà bì chéng wèi fēng ； dào yě bú zài tā men lǐ miàn 。 zhè zāi bì lín dào tā men shēn shàng 。

The prophets will become wind, and the word is not in them. Thus it will be done to them.”

所以耶和華－萬軍之上帝如此說： 因為百姓說這話， 我必使我的話在你口中為火，使他們為柴； 這火便將他們燒滅。

suǒ yǐ yē hé huá — wàn jūn zhī shén rú cǐ shuō ： yīn wèi bǎi xìng shuō zhè huà ， wǒ bì shǐ wǒ de huà zài nǐ kǒu zhōng wèi huǒ ， shǐ tā men wèi chái ； zhè huǒ biàn jiāng tā men shāo miè 。

Therefore the LORD, the God of Armies says, “Because you speak this word, behold, I will make my words in your mouth fire, and this people wood, and it will devour them.

耶和華說：以色列家啊， 我必使一國的民從遠方來攻擊你， 是強盛的國， 是從古而有的國。 他們的言語你不曉得， 他們的話你不明白。

yē hé huá shuō ： yǐ sè liè jiā a ， wǒ bì shǐ yì guó de mín cóng yuǎn fāng lái gōng jī nǐ ， shì qiáng shèng de guó ， shì cóng gǔ ér yǒu de guó 。 tā men de yán yǔ nǐ bù xiǎo de ， tā men de huà nǐ bù míng bái 。

Behold, I will bring a nation on you from far away, house of Israel,” says the LORD. “It is a mighty nation. It is an ancient nation, a nation whose language you don’t know and don’t understand what they say.

他們的箭袋是敞開的墳墓； 他們都是勇士。

tā men de jiàn dài shì chǎng kāi de fén mù ； tā men dōu shì yǒng shì 。

Their quiver is an open tomb. They are all mighty men.

他們必吃盡你的莊稼和你的糧食， 是你兒女該吃的； 必吃盡你的牛羊， 吃盡你的葡萄和無花果； 又必用刀毀壞你所倚靠的堅固城。

tā men bì chī jìn nǐ de zhuāng jia hé nǐ de liáng shí ， shì nǐ ér nǚ gāi chī de ； bì chī jìn nǐ de niú yáng ， chī jìn nǐ de pú táo hé wú huā guǒ ； yòu bì yòng dāo huǐ huài nǐ suǒ yǐ kào de jiān gù chéng 。

They will eat up your harvest and your bread, which your sons and your daughters should eat. They will eat up your flocks and your herds. They will eat up your vines and your fig trees. They will beat down your fortified cities in which you trust with the sword.

耶和華說：「就是到那時，我也不將你們毀滅淨盡。

yē hé huá shuō ：「 jiù shì dào nà shí ， wǒ yě bù jiāng nǐ men huǐ miè jìng jìn 。

“But even in those days,” says the LORD, “I will not make a full end of you.

百姓若說：『耶和華－我們的上帝為甚麼向我們行這一切事呢？』你就對他們說：『你們怎樣離棄耶和華 ，在你們的地上事奉外邦神，也必照樣在不屬你們的地上事奉外邦人。』」

bǎi xìng ruò shuō ：『 yē hé huá — wǒ men de shén wèi shén me xiàng wǒ men xíng zhè yí qiè shì ne ？』 nǐ jiù duì tā men shuō ：『 nǐ men zěn yàng lí qì yē hé huá ， zài nǐ men de dì shàng shì fèng wài bāng shén ， yě bì zhào yàng zài bù shǔ nǐ men de dì shàng shì fèng wài bāng rén 。』」

It will happen when you say, ‘Why has the LORD our God done all these things to us?’ Then you shall say to them, ‘Just as you have forsaken me and served foreign gods in your land, so you will serve strangers in a land that is not yours.’

當傳揚在雅各家， 報告在猶大說：

dāng chuán yáng zài yǎ gè jiā ， bào gào zài yóu dà shuō ：

“Declare this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying,

愚昧無知的百姓啊， 你們有眼不看， 有耳不聽， 現在當聽這話。

yú mèi wú zhī de bǎi xìng a ， nǐ men yǒu yǎn bú kàn ， yǒu ěr bù tīng ， xiàn zài dāng tīng zhè huà 。

‘Hear this now, foolish people without understanding, who have eyes, and don’t see, who have ears, and don’t hear:

耶和華說：你們怎麼不懼怕我呢？ 我以永遠的定例， 用沙為海的界限， 水不得越過。 因此，你們在我面前還不戰兢嗎？ 波浪雖然翻騰，卻不能逾越； 雖然匉訇，卻不能過去。

yē hé huá shuō ： nǐ men zěn me bú jù pà wǒ ne ？ wǒ yǐ yǒng yuǎn de dìng lì ， yòng shā wèi hǎi de jiè xiàn ， shuǐ bù dé yuè guò 。 yīn cǐ ， nǐ men zài wǒ miàn qián hái bú zhàn jīng ma ？ bō làng suī rán fān téng ， què bù néng yú yuè ； suī rán pēng hōng ， què bù néng guò qù 。

Don’t you fear me?’ says the LORD; ‘Won’t you tremble at my presence, who have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it can’t pass it? Though its waves toss themselves, yet they can’t prevail. Though they roar, they still can’t pass over it.’

但這百姓有背叛忤逆的心； 他們叛我而去，

dàn zhè bǎi xìng yǒu bèi pàn wǔ nì de xīn ； tā men pàn wǒ ér qù ，

“But this people has a revolting and a rebellious heart. They have revolted and gone.

心內也不說： 我們應當敬畏耶和華－我們的上帝； 他按時賜雨，就是秋雨春雨， 又為我們定收割的節令，永存不廢。

xīn nèi yě bù shuō ： wǒ men yīng dāng jìng wèi yē hé huá — wǒ men de shén ； tā àn shí cì yǔ ， jiù shì qiū yǔ chūn yǔ ， yòu wèi wǒ men dìng shōu gē de jié lìng ， yǒng cún bú fèi 。

They don’t say in their heart, ‘Let’s now fear the LORD our God, who gives rain, both the former and the latter, in its season, who preserves to us the appointed weeks of the harvest.’

你們的罪孽使這些事轉離你們； 你們的罪惡使你們不能得福。

nǐ men de zuì niè shǐ zhè xiē shì zhuǎn lí nǐ men ； nǐ men de zuì è shǐ nǐ men bù néng dé fú 。

“Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withheld good from you.

因為在我民中有惡人。 他們埋伏窺探，好像捕鳥的人； 他們設立圈套陷害人。

yīn wèi zài wǒ mín zhōng yǒu è rén 。 tā men mái fú kuī tàn ， hǎo xiàng bǔ niǎo de rén ； tā men shè lì quān tào xiàn hài rén 。

For wicked men are found among my people. They watch, as fowlers lie in wait. They set a trap. They catch men.

籠內怎樣滿了雀鳥， 他們的房中也照樣充滿詭詐； 所以他們得成為大，而且富足。

lóng nèi zěn yàng mǎn le què niǎo ， tā men de fáng zhōng yě zhào yàng chōng mǎn guǐ zhà ； suǒ yǐ tā men dé chéng wéi dà ， ér qiě fù zú 。

As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit. Therefore they have become great, and grew rich.

他們肥胖光潤， 作惡過甚，不為人伸冤！ 就是不為孤兒伸冤， 不使他亨通， 也不為窮人辨屈。

tā men féi pàng guāng rùn ， zuò è guò shèn ， bú wèi rén shēn yuān ！ jiù shì bú wèi gū ér shēn yuān ， bù shǐ tā hēng tōng ， yě bú wèi qióng rén biàn qū 。

They have grown fat. They shine; yes, they excel in deeds of wickedness. They don’t plead the cause, the cause of the fatherless, that they may prosper; and they don’t defend the rights of the needy.

耶和華說：我豈不因這些事討罪呢？ 豈不報復這樣的國民呢？

yē hé huá shuō ： wǒ qǐ bù yīn zhè xiē shì tǎo zuì ne ？ qǐ bú bào fù zhè yàng de guó mín ne ？

“Shouldn’t I punish for these things?” says the LORD. “Shouldn’t my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

國中有可驚駭、可憎惡的事：

guó zhōng yǒu kě jīng hài 、 kě zēng wù de shì ：

“An astonishing and horrible thing has happened in the land.

就是先知說假預言， 祭司藉他們把持權柄； 我的百姓也喜愛這些事， 到了結局你們怎樣行呢？

jiù shì xiān zhī shuō jiǎ yù yán ， jì sī jiè tā men bǎ chí quán bǐng ； wǒ de bǎi xìng yě xǐ ài zhè xiē shì ， dào liǎo jié jú nǐ men zěn yàng xíng ne ？

The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule by their own authority; and my people love to have it so. What will you do in the end of it?
