約伯記 22
人豈能使上帝有益呢？ 智慧人但能有益於己。
rén qǐ néng shǐ shén yǒu yì ne ？ zhì huì rén dàn néng yǒu yì yú jǐ 。
“Can a man be profitable to God? Surely he who is wise is profitable to himself.
你為人公義，豈叫全能者喜悅呢？ 你行為完全，豈能使他得利呢？
nǐ wèi rén gōng yì ， qǐ jiào quán néng zhě xǐ yuè ne ？ nǐ xíng wéi wán quán ， qǐ néng shǐ tā dé lì ne ？
Is it any pleasure to the Almighty that you are righteous? Or does it benefit him that you make your ways perfect?
豈是因你敬畏他 就責備你、審判你嗎？
qǐ shì yīn nǐ jìng wèi tā jiù zé bèi nǐ 、 shěn pàn nǐ ma ？
Is it for your piety that he reproves you, that he enters with you into judgment?
你的罪惡豈不是大嗎？ 你的罪孽也沒有窮盡；
nǐ de zuì è qǐ bú shì dà ma ？ nǐ de zuì niè yě méi yǒu qióng jìn ；
Isn’t your wickedness great? Neither is there any end to your iniquities.
因你無故強取弟兄的物為當頭， 剝去貧寒人的衣服。
yīn nǐ wú gù qiáng qǔ dì xiong de wù wèi dāng tóu ， bāo qù pín hán rén de yī fu 。
For you have taken pledges from your brother for nothing, and stripped the naked of their clothing.
困乏的人，你沒有給他水喝； 飢餓的人，你沒有給他食物。
kùn fá de rén ， nǐ méi yǒu gěi tā shuǐ hē ； jī è de rén ， nǐ méi yǒu gěi tā shí wù 。
You haven’t given water to the weary to drink, and you have withheld bread from the hungry.
有能力的人就得地土； 尊貴的人也住在其中。
yǒu néng lì de rén jiù dé dì tǔ ； zūn guì de rén yě zhù zài qí zhōng 。
But as for the mighty man, he had the earth. The honorable man, he lived in it.
你打發寡婦空手回去， 折斷孤兒的膀臂。
nǐ dǎ fā guǎ fù kōng shǒu huí qù ， zhé duàn gū ér de bǎng bì 。
You have sent widows away empty, and the arms of the fatherless have been broken.
因此，有網羅環繞你， 有恐懼忽然使你驚惶；
yīn cǐ ， yǒu wǎng luó huán rào nǐ ， yǒu kǒng jù hū rán shǐ nǐ jīng huáng ；
Therefore snares are around you. Sudden fear troubles you,
或有黑暗蒙蔽你， 並有洪水淹沒你。
huò yǒu hēi àn méng bì nǐ ， bìng yǒu hóng shuǐ yān mò nǐ 。
or darkness, so that you can not see, and floods of waters cover you.
上帝豈不是在高天嗎？ 你看星宿何其高呢！
shén qǐ bú shì zài gāo tiān ma ？ nǐ kàn xīng xiù hé qí gāo ne ！
“Isn’t God in the heights of heaven? See the height of the stars, how high they are!
你說：上帝知道甚麼？ 他豈能看透幽暗施行審判呢？
nǐ shuō ： shén zhī dào shén me ？ tā qǐ néng kàn tòu yōu àn shī xíng shěn pàn ne ？
You say, ‘What does God know? Can he judge through the thick darkness?
密雲將他遮蓋，使他不能看見； 他周遊穹蒼。
mì yún jiāng tā zhē gài ， shǐ tā bù néng kàn jiàn ； tā zhōu yóu qióng cāng 。
Thick clouds are a covering to him, so that he doesn’t see. He walks on the vault of the sky.’
你要依從上古的道嗎？ 這道是惡人所行的。
nǐ yào yī cóng shàng gǔ de dào ma ？ zhè dào shì è rén suǒ xíng de 。
Will you keep the old way, which wicked men have trodden,
他們未到死期，忽然除滅； 根基毀壞，好像被江河沖去。
tā men wèi dào sǐ qī ， hū rán chú miè ； gēn jī huǐ huài ， hǎo xiàng bèi jiāng hé chōng qù 。
who were snatched away before their time, whose foundation was poured out as a stream,
他們向上帝說：離開我們吧！ 又說：全能者能把我們怎麼樣呢？
tā men xiàng shén shuō ： lí kāi wǒ men ba ！ yòu shuō ： quán néng zhě néng bǎ wǒ men zěn me yàng ne ？
who said to God, ‘Depart from us!’ and, ‘What can the Almighty do for us?’
哪知上帝以美物充滿他們的房屋； 但惡人所謀定的離我好遠。
nǎ zhī shén yǐ měi wù chōng mǎn tā men de fáng wū ； dàn è rén suǒ móu dìng de lí wǒ hǎo yuǎn 。
Yet he filled their houses with good things, but the counsel of the wicked is far from me.
義人看見他們的結局就歡喜； 無辜的人嗤笑他們，
yì rén kàn jiàn tā men de jié jú jiù huān xǐ ； wú gū de rén chī xiào tā men ，
The righteous see it, and are glad. The innocent ridicule them,
說：那起來攻擊我們的果然被剪除， 其餘的都被火燒滅。
shuō ： nà qǐ lái gōng jī wǒ men de guǒ rán bèi jiǎn chú ， qí yú de dōu bèi huǒ shāo miè 。
saying, ‘Surely those who rose up against us are cut off. The fire has consumed their remnant.’
你要認識上帝，就得平安； 福氣也必臨到你。
nǐ yào rèn shi shén ， jiù dé píng ān ； fú qì yě bì lín dào nǐ 。
“Acquaint yourself with him now, and be at peace. By it, good will come to you.
你當領受他口中的教訓， 將他的言語存在心裏。
nǐ dāng lǐng shòu tā kǒu zhōng de jiào xùn ， jiāng tā de yán yǔ cún zài xīn lǐ 。
Please receive instruction from his mouth, and lay up his words in your heart.
你若歸向全能者，從你帳棚中遠除不義， 就必得建立。
nǐ ruò guī xiàng quán néng zhě ， cóng nǐ zhàng péng zhōng yuǎn chú bú yì ， jiù bì dé jiàn lì 。
If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up, if you put away unrighteousness far from your tents.
要將你的珍寶丟在塵土裏， 將俄斐的黃金丟在溪河石頭之間；
yào jiāng nǐ de zhēn bǎo diū zài chén tǔ lǐ ， jiāng é fěi de huáng jīn diū zài xī hé shí tou zhī jiān ；
Lay your treasure in the dust, the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks.
全能者就必為你的珍寶， 作你的寶銀。
quán néng zhě jiù bì wèi nǐ de zhēn bǎo ， zuò nǐ de bǎo yín 。
The Almighty will be your treasure, and precious silver to you.
你就要以全能者為喜樂， 向上帝仰起臉來。
nǐ jiù yào yǐ quán néng zhě wèi xǐ lè ， xiàng shén yǎng qǐ liǎn lái 。
For then you will delight yourself in the Almighty, and will lift up your face to God.
你要禱告他，他就聽你； 你也要還你的願。
nǐ yào dǎo gào tā ， tā jiù tīng nǐ ； nǐ yě yào hái nǐ de yuàn 。
You will make your prayer to him, and he will hear you. You will pay your vows.
你定意要做何事，必然給你成就； 亮光也必照耀你的路。
nǐ dìng yì yào zuò hé shì ， bì rán gěi nǐ chéng jiù ； liàng guāng yě bì zhào yào nǐ de lù 。
You will also decree a thing, and it will be established to you. Light will shine on your ways.
人使你降卑，你仍可說：必得高升； 謙卑的人，上帝必然拯救。
rén shǐ nǐ jiàng bēi ， nǐ réng kě shuō ： bì dé gāo shēng ； qiān bēi de rén ， shén bì rán zhěng jiù 。
When they cast down, you will say, ‘be lifted up.’ He will save the humble person.
人非無辜，上帝且要搭救他； 他因你手中清潔，必蒙拯救。
rén fēi wú gū ， shén qiě yào dā jiù tā ； tā yīn nǐ shǒu zhōng qīng jié ， bì méng zhěng jiù 。
He will even deliver him who is not innocent. Yes, he will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands.”
