士師記 21

以色列人在米斯巴曾起誓說：「我們都不將女兒給便雅憫人為妻。」

yǐ sè liè rén zài mǐ sī bā céng qǐ shì shuō ：「 wǒ men dōu bù jiāng nǚ ér gěi biàn yǎ mǐn rén wéi qī 。」

Now the men of Israel had sworn in Mizpah, saying, “None of us will give his daughter to Benjamin as a wife.”

以色列人來到伯特利，坐在上帝面前直到晚上，放聲痛哭，

yǐ sè liè rén lái dào bó tè lì ， zuò zài shén miàn qián zhí dào wǎn shàng ， fàng shēng tòng kū ，

The people came to Bethel and sat there until evening before God, and lifted up their voices, and wept severely.

說：「耶和華－以色列的上帝啊，為何以色列中有這樣缺了一支派的事呢？」

shuō ：「 yē hé huá — yǐ sè liè de shén a ， wèi hé yǐ sè liè zhōng yǒu zhè yàng quē le yì zhī pài de shì ne ？」

They said, “The LORD, the God of Israel, why has this happened in Israel, that there should be one tribe lacking in Israel today?”

次日清早，百姓起來，在那裏築了一座壇，獻燔祭和平安祭。

cì rì qīng zǎo ， bǎi xìng qǐ lái ， zài nà lǐ zhù le yí zuò tán ， xiàn fán jì hé píng ān jì 。

On the next day, the people rose early and built an altar there, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings.

以色列人彼此問說：「以色列各支派中，誰沒有同會眾上到耶和華面前來呢？」先是以色列人起過大誓說，凡不上米斯巴到耶和華面前來的，必將他治死。

yǐ sè liè rén bǐ cǐ wèn shuō ：「 yǐ sè liè gè zhī pài zhōng ， shuí méi yǒu tóng huì zhòng shàng dào yē hé huá miàn qián lái ne ？」 xiān shì yǐ sè liè rén qǐ guò dà shì shuō ， fán bú shàng mǐ sī bā dào yē hé huá miàn qián lái de ， bì jiāng tā zhì sǐ 。

The children of Israel said, “Who is there among all the tribes of Israel who didn’t come up in the assembly to the LORD?” For they had made a great oath concerning him who didn’t come up to the LORD to Mizpah, saying, “He shall surely be put to death.”

以色列人為他們的弟兄便雅憫後悔，說：「如今以色列中絕了一個支派了。

yǐ sè liè rén wéi tā men de dì xiōng biàn yǎ mǐn hòu huǐ ， shuō ：「 rú jīn yǐ sè liè zhōng jué le yí gè zhī pài le 。

The children of Israel grieved for Benjamin their brother, and said, “There is one tribe cut off from Israel today.

我們既在耶和華面前起誓說，必不將我們的女兒給便雅憫人為妻，現在我們當怎樣辦理、使他們剩下的人有妻呢？」

wǒ men jì zài yē hé huá miàn qián qǐ shì shuō ， bì bù jiāng wǒ men de nǚ ér gěi biàn yǎ mǐn rén wèi qī ， xiàn zài wǒ men dāng zěn yàng bàn lǐ 、 shǐ tā men shèng xià de rén yǒu qī ne ？」

How shall we provide wives for those who remain, since we have sworn by the LORD that we will not give them of our daughters to wives?”

又彼此問說：「以色列支派中誰沒有上米斯巴到耶和華面前來呢？」他們就查出基列‧雅比沒有一人進營到會眾那裏；

yòu bǐ cǐ wèn shuō ：「 yǐ sè liè zhī pài zhōng shuí méi yǒu shàng mǐ sī bā dào yē hé huá miàn qián lái ne ？」 tā men jiù chá chū jī liè · yǎ bǐ méi yǒu yì rén jìn yíng dào huì zhòng nà lǐ ；

They said, “What one is there of the tribes of Israel who didn’t come up to the LORD to Mizpah?” Behold, no one came from Jabesh Gilead to the camp to the assembly.

因為百姓被數的時候，沒有一個基列‧雅比人在那裏。

yīn wèi bǎi xìng bèi shù de shí hòu ， méi yǒu yí gè jī liè · yǎ bǐ rén zài nà lǐ 。

For when the people were counted, behold, there were none of the inhabitants of Jabesh Gilead there.

會眾就打發一萬二千大勇士，吩咐他們說：「你們去用刀將基列‧雅比人連婦女帶孩子都擊殺了。

huì zhòng jiù dǎ fā yí wàn èr qiān dà yǒng shì ， fēn fù tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men qù yòng dāo jiāng jī liè · yǎ bǐ rén lián fù nǚ dài hái zi dōu jī shā le 。

The congregation sent twelve thousand of the most valiant men there, and commanded them, saying, “Go and strike the inhabitants of Jabesh Gilead with the edge of the sword, with the women and the little ones.

所當行的就是這樣：要將一切男子和已嫁的女子盡行殺戮。」

suǒ dāng xíng de jiù shì zhè yàng ： yào jiāng yí qiè nán zǐ hé yǐ jià de nǚ zǐ jìn xíng shā lù 。」

This is the thing that you shall do: you shall utterly destroy every male, and every woman who has lain with a man.”

他們在基列‧雅比人中，遇見了四百個未嫁的處女，就帶到迦南地的示羅營裏。

tā men zài jī liè · yǎ bǐ rén zhōng ， yù jiàn le sì bǎi gè wèi jià de chǔ nǚ ， jiù dài dào jiā nán dì de shì luó yíng lǐ 。

They found among the inhabitants of Jabesh Gilead four hundred young virgins who had not known man by lying with him; and they brought them to the camp to Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan.

全會眾打發人到臨門磐的便雅憫人那裏，向他們說和睦的話。

quán huì zhòng dǎ fā rén dào lín mén pán de biàn yǎ mǐn rén nà lǐ ， xiàng tā men shuō hé mù de huà 。

The whole congregation sent and spoke to the children of Benjamin who were in the rock of Rimmon, and proclaimed peace to them.

當時便雅憫人回來了，以色列人就把所存活基列‧雅比的女子給他們為妻，還是不夠。

dāng shí biàn yǎ mǐn rén huí lái le ， yǐ sè liè rén jiù bǎ suǒ cún huó jī liè · yǎ bǐ de nǚ zǐ gěi tā men wèi qī ， hái shì bú gòu 。

Benjamin returned at that time; and they gave them the women whom they had saved alive of the women of Jabesh Gilead. There still weren’t enough for them.

百姓為便雅憫人後悔，因為耶和華使以色列人缺了一個支派 。

bǎi xìng wèi biàn yǎ mǐn rén hòu huǐ ， yīn wèi yē hé huá shǐ yǐ sè liè rén quē le yí gè zhī pài 。

The people grieved for Benjamin, because the LORD had made a breach in the tribes of Israel.

會中的長老說：「便雅憫中的女子既然除滅了，我們當怎樣辦理、使那餘剩的人有妻呢？」

huì zhōng de zhǎng lǎo shuō ：「 biàn yǎ mǐn zhōng de nǚ zǐ jì rán chú miè le ， wǒ men dāng zěn yàng bàn lǐ 、 shǐ nà yú shèng de rén yǒu qī ne ？」

Then the elders of the congregation said, “How shall we provide wives for those who remain, since the women are destroyed out of Benjamin?”

又說：「便雅憫逃脫的人當有地業，免得以色列中塗抹了一個支派。

yòu shuō ：「 biàn yǎ mǐn táo tuō de rén dāng yǒu dì yè ， miǎn de yǐ sè liè zhōng tú mǒ le yí gè zhī pài 。

They said, “There must be an inheritance for those who are escaped of Benjamin, that a tribe not be blotted out from Israel.

只是我們不能將自己的女兒給他們為妻；因為以色列人曾起誓說，有將女兒給便雅憫人為妻的，必受咒詛。」

zhǐ shì wǒ men bù néng jiāng zì jǐ de nǚ ér gěi tā men wèi qī ； yīn wèi yǐ sè liè rén céng qǐ shì shuō ， yǒu jiāng nǚ ér gěi biàn yǎ mǐn rén wéi qī de ， bì shòu zhòu zǔ 。」

However, we may not give them wives of our daughters, for the children of Israel had sworn, saying, ‘Cursed is he who gives a wife to Benjamin.’”

他們又說：「在利波拿以南，伯特利以北，在示劍大路以東的示羅，年年有耶和華的節期」；

tā men yòu shuō ：「 zài lì bō ná yǐ nán ， bó tè lì yǐ běi ， zài shì jiàn dà lù yǐ dōng de shì luó ， nián nián yǒu yē hé huá de jié qī 」；

They said, “Behold, there is a feast of the LORD from year to year in Shiloh, which is on the north of Bethel, on the east side of the highway that goes up from Bethel to Shechem, and on the south of Lebonah.”

就吩咐便雅憫人說：「你們去，在葡萄園中埋伏。

jiù fēn fù biàn yǎ mǐn rén shuō ：「 nǐ men qù ， zài pú táo yuán zhōng mái fú 。

They commanded the children of Benjamin, saying, “Go and lie in wait in the vineyards,

若看見示羅的女子出來跳舞，就從葡萄園出來，在示羅的女子中各搶一個為妻，回便雅憫地去。

ruò kàn jiàn shì luó de nǚ zǐ chū lái tiào wǔ ， jiù cóng pú táo yuán chū lái ， zài shì luó de nǚ zǐ zhōng gè qiǎng yí gè wèi qī ， huí biàn yǎ mǐn dì qù 。

and see, and behold, if the daughters of Shiloh come out to dance in the dances, then come out of the vineyards, and each man catch his wife of the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.

他們的父親或是弟兄若來與我們爭競，我們就說：『求你們看我們的情面，施恩給這些人，因我們在爭戰的時候沒有給他們留下女子為妻。這也不是你們將女子給他們的；若是你們給的，就算有罪。』」

tā men de fù qīn huò shì dì xiong ruò lái yǔ wǒ men zhēng jìng ， wǒ men jiù shuō ：『 qiú nǐ men kàn wǒ men de qíng miàn ， shī ēn gěi zhè xiē rén ， yīn wǒ men zài zhēng zhàn de shí hòu méi yǒu gěi tā men liú xià nǚ zǐ wèi qī 。 zhè yě bú shì nǐ men jiāng nǚ zǐ gěi tā men de ； ruò shì nǐ men gěi de ， jiù suàn yǒu zuì 。』」

It shall be, when their fathers or their brothers come to complain to us, that we will say to them, ‘Grant them graciously to us, because we didn’t take for each man his wife in battle, neither did you give them to them; otherwise you would now be guilty.’”

於是便雅憫人照樣而行，按着他們的數目從跳舞的女子中搶去為妻，就回自己的地業去，又重修城邑居住。

yú shì biàn yǎ mǐn rén zhào yàng ér xíng ， àn zhe tā men de shù mù cóng tiào wǔ de nǚ zǐ zhōng qiǎng qù wèi qī ， jiù huí zì jǐ de dì yè qù ， yòu chóng xiū chéng yì jū zhù 。

The children of Benjamin did so, and took wives for themselves according to their number, of those who danced, whom they carried off. They went and returned to their inheritance, built the cities, and lived in them.

當時以色列人離開那裏，各歸本支派、本宗族、本地業去了。

dāng shí yǐ sè liè rén lí kāi nà lǐ ， gè guī běn zhī pài 、 běn zōng zú 、 běn dì yè qù le 。

The children of Israel departed from there at that time, every man to his tribe and to his family, and they each went out from there to his own inheritance.

那時，以色列中沒有王，各人任意而行。

nà shí ， yǐ sè liè zhōng méi yǒu wáng ， gè rén rèn yì ér xíng 。

In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did that which was right in his own eyes.
