尼希米記 9

這月二十四日，以色列人聚集禁食，身穿麻衣，頭蒙灰塵。

zhè yuè èr shí sì rì ， yǐ sè liè rén jù jí jìn shí ， shēn chuān má yī ， tóu méng huī chén 。

Now in the twenty-fourth day of this month the children of Israel were assembled with fasting, with sackcloth, and dirt on them.

以色列人 就與一切外邦人離絕，站着承認自己的罪惡和列祖的罪孽。

yǐ sè liè rén jiù yǔ yí qiè wài bāng rén lí jué ， zhàn zhe chéng rèn zì jǐ de zuì è hé liè zǔ de zuì niè 。

The offspring of Israel separated themselves from all foreigners and stood and confessed their sins and the iniquities of their fathers.

那日的四分之一站在自己的地方念耶和華－他們上帝的律法書，又四分之一認罪，敬拜耶和華－他們的上帝。

nà rì de sì fēn zhī yī zhàn zài zì jǐ de dì fāng niàn yē hé huá — tā men shén de lǜ fǎ shū ， yòu sì fēn zhī yī rèn zuì ， jìng bài yē hé huá — tā men de shén 。

They stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of the LORD their God a fourth part of the day; and a fourth part they confessed and worshiped the LORD their God.

耶書亞、巴尼、甲篾、示巴尼、布尼、示利比、巴尼、基拿尼站在利未人的臺上，大聲哀求耶和華－他們的上帝。

yē shū yà 、 bā ní 、 jiǎ miè 、 shì bā ní 、 bù ní 、 shì lì bǐ 、 bā ní 、 jī ná ní zhàn zài lì wèi rén de tái shàng ， dà shēng āi qiú yē hé huá — tā men de shén 。

Then Jeshua, Bani, Kadmiel, Shebaniah, Bunni, Sherebiah, Bani, and Chenani of the Levites stood up on the stairs, and cried with a loud voice to the LORD their God.

利未人耶書亞、甲篾、巴尼、哈沙尼、示利比、荷第雅、示巴尼、毗他希雅說：「你們要站起來稱頌耶和華－你們的上帝，永世無盡。耶和華啊，你榮耀之名是應當稱頌的！超乎一切稱頌和讚美。」

lì wèi rén yē shū yà 、 jiǎ miè 、 bā ní 、 hā shā ní 、 shì lì bǐ 、 hé dì yǎ 、 shì bā ní 、 pí tā xī yǎ shuō ：「 nǐ men yào zhàn qǐ lái chēng sòng yē hé huá — nǐ men de shén ， yǒng shì wú jìn 。 yē hé huá a ， nǐ róng yào zhī míng shì yīng dāng chēng sòng de ！ chāo hū yí qiè chēng sòng hé zàn měi 。」

Then the Levites, Jeshua, and Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said, “Stand up and bless the LORD your God from everlasting to everlasting! Blessed be your glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise!

「你，惟獨你是耶和華！你造了天和天上的天，並天上的萬象，地和地上的萬物，海和海中所有的；這一切都是你所保存的。天軍也都敬拜你。

「 nǐ ， wéi dú nǐ shì yē hé huá ！ nǐ zào le tiān hé tiān shàng de tiān ， bìng tiān shàng de wàn xiàng ， dì hé dì shàng de wàn wù ， hǎi hé hǎi zhōng suǒ yǒu de ； zhè yí qiè dōu shì nǐ suǒ bǎo cún de 。 tiān jūn yě dōu jìng bài nǐ 。

You are the LORD, even you alone. You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their army, the earth and all things that are on it, the seas and all that is in them, and you preserve them all. The army of heaven worships you.

你是耶和華上帝，曾揀選亞伯蘭，領他出迦勒底的吾珥，給他改名叫亞伯拉罕。

nǐ shì yē hé huá shén ， céng jiǎn xuǎn yà bó lán ， lǐng tā chū jiā lè dǐ de wú ěr ， gěi tā gǎi míng jiào yà bó lā hǎn 。

You are the LORD, the God who chose Abram, brought him out of Ur of the Chaldees, gave him the name of Abraham,

你見他在你面前心裏誠實，就與他立約，應許把迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、革迦撒人之地賜給他的後裔，且應驗了你的話，因為你是公義的。

nǐ jiàn tā zài nǐ miàn qián xīn lǐ chéng shí ， jiù yǔ tā lì yuē ， yīng xǔ bǎ jiā nán rén 、 hè rén 、 yà mó lì rén 、 bǐ lì xǐ rén 、 yē bù sī rén 、 gé jiā sā rén zhī dì cì gěi tā de hòu yì ， qiě yìng yàn le nǐ de huà ， yīn wèi nǐ shì gōng yì de 。

found his heart faithful before you, and made a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Jebusite, and the Girgashite, to give it to his offspring, and have performed your words, for you are righteous.

「你曾看見我們列祖在埃及所受的困苦，垂聽他們在紅海邊的哀求，

「 nǐ céng kàn jiàn wǒ men liè zǔ zài āi jí suǒ shòu de kùn kǔ ， chuí tīng tā men zài hóng hǎi biān de āi qiú ，

“You saw the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, and heard their cry by the Red Sea,

就施行神蹟奇事在法老和他一切臣僕，並他國中的眾民身上。你也得了名聲，正如今日一樣，因為你知道他們向我們列祖行事狂傲。

jiù shī xíng shén jì qí shì zài fǎ lǎo hé tā yí qiè chén pú ， bìng tā guó zhōng de zhòng mín shēn shàng 。 nǐ yě dé le míng shēng ， zhèng rú jīn rì yí yàng ， yīn wèi nǐ zhī dào tā men xiàng wǒ men liè zǔ xíng shì kuáng ào 。

and showed signs and wonders against Pharaoh, against all his servants, and against all the people of his land, for you knew that they dealt proudly against them, and made a name for yourself, as it is today.

你又在我們列祖面前把海分開，使他們在海中行走乾地，將追趕他們的人拋在深海，如石頭拋在大水中；

nǐ yòu zài wǒ men liè zǔ miàn qián bǎ hǎi fēn kāi ， shǐ tā men zài hǎi zhōng xíng zǒu gān dì ， jiāng zhuī gǎn tā men de rén pāo zài shēn hǎi ， rú shí tou pāo zài dà shuǐ zhōng ；

You divided the sea before them, so that they went through the middle of the sea on the dry land; and you cast their pursuers into the depths, as a stone into the mighty waters.

並且白晝用雲柱引導他們，黑夜用火柱照亮他們當行的路。

bìng qiě bái zhòu yòng yún zhù yǐn dǎo tā men ， hēi yè yòng huǒ zhù zhào liàng tā men dāng xíng de lù 。

Moreover, in a pillar of cloud you led them by day; and in a pillar of fire by night, to give them light in the way in which they should go.

你也降臨在西奈山，從天上與他們說話，賜給他們正直的典章、真實的律法、美好的條例與誡命，

nǐ yě jiàng lín zài xī nài shān ， cóng tiān shàng yǔ tā men shuō huà ， cì gěi tā men zhèng zhí de diǎn zhāng 、 zhēn shí de lǜ fǎ 、 měi hǎo de tiáo lì yǔ jiè mìng ，

“You also came down on Mount Sinai, and spoke with them from heaven, and gave them right ordinances and true laws, good statutes and commandments,

又使他們知道你的安息聖日，並藉你僕人摩西傳給他們誡命、條例、律法。

yòu shǐ tā men zhī dào nǐ de ān xī shèng rì ， bìng jiè nǐ pú rén mó xī chuán gěi tā men jiè mìng 、 tiáo lì 、 lǜ fǎ 。

and made known to them your holy Sabbath, and commanded them commandments, statutes, and a law, by Moses your servant,

從天上賜下糧食充他們的飢，從磐石使水流出解他們的渴，又吩咐他們進去得你起誓應許賜給他們的地。

cóng tiān shàng cì xià liáng shí chōng tā men de jī ， cóng pán shí shǐ shuǐ liú chū jiě tā men de kě ， yòu fēn fù tā men jìn qù dé nǐ qǐ shì yīng xǔ cì gěi tā men de dì 。

and gave them bread from the sky for their hunger, and brought water out of the rock for them for their thirst, and commanded them that they should go in to possess the land which you had sworn to give them.

「但我們的列祖行事狂傲，硬着頸項不聽從你的誡命；

「 dàn wǒ men de liè zǔ xíng shì kuáng ào ， yìng zhe jǐng xiàng bù tīng cóng nǐ de jiè mìng ；

“But they and our fathers behaved proudly, hardened their neck, didn’t listen to your commandments,

不肯順從，也不記念你在他們中間所行的奇事，竟硬着頸項，居心背逆，自立首領，要回他們為奴之地。但你是樂意饒恕人，有恩典，有憐憫，不輕易發怒，有豐盛慈愛的上帝，並不丟棄他們。

bù kěn shùn cóng ， yě bú jì niàn nǐ zài tā men zhōng jiān suǒ xíng de qí shì ， jìng yìng zhe jǐng xiàng ， jū xīn bèi nì ， zì lì shǒu lǐng ， yào huí tā men wèi nú zhī dì 。 dàn nǐ shì lè yì ráo shù rén ， yǒu ēn diǎn ， yǒu lián mǐn ， bù qīng yì fā nù ， yǒu fēng shèng cí ài de shén ， bìng bù diū qì tā men 。

and refused to obey. They weren’t mindful of your wonders that you did among them, but hardened their neck, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage. But you are a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, and didn’t forsake them.

他們雖然鑄了一隻牛犢，彼此說『這是領你出埃及的神』，因而大大惹動你的怒氣；

tā men suī rán zhù le yì zhī niú dú ， bǐ cǐ shuō 『 zhè shì lǐng nǐ chū āi jí de shén 』， yīn ér dà dà rě dòng nǐ de nù qì ；

Yes, when they had made themselves a molded calf, and said, ‘This is your God who brought you up out of Egypt,’ and had committed awful blasphemies,

你還是大施憐憫，在曠野不丟棄他們。白晝，雲柱不離開他們，仍引導他們行路；黑夜，火柱也不離開他們，仍照亮他們當行的路。

nǐ hái shì dà shī lián mǐn ， zài kuàng yě bù diū qì tā men 。 bái zhòu ， yún zhù bù lí kāi tā men ， réng yǐn dǎo tā men xíng lù ； hēi yè ， huǒ zhù yě bù lí kāi tā men ， réng zhào liàng tā men dāng xíng de lù 。

yet you in your manifold mercies didn’t forsake them in the wilderness. The pillar of cloud didn’t depart from over them by day, to lead them in the way; neither did the pillar of fire by night, to show them light, and the way in which they should go.

你也賜下你良善的靈教訓他們；未嘗不賜嗎哪使他們糊口，並賜水解他們的渴。

nǐ yě cì xià nǐ liáng shàn de líng jiào xùn tā men ； wèi cháng bú cì ma nǎ shǐ tā men hú kǒu ， bìng cì shuǐ jiě tā men de kě 。

You gave also your good Spirit to instruct them, and didn’t withhold your manna from their mouth, and gave them water for their thirst.

在曠野四十年，你養育他們，他們就一無所缺：衣服沒有穿破，腳也沒有腫。

zài kuàng yě sì shí nián ， nǐ yǎng yù tā men ， tā men jiù yì wú suǒ quē ： yī fu méi yǒu chuān pò ， jiǎo yě méi yǒu zhǒng 。

“Yes, forty years you sustained them in the wilderness. They lacked nothing. Their clothes didn’t grow old, and their feet didn’t swell.

並且你將列國之地照分賜給他們，他們就得了西宏之地、希實本王之地，和巴珊王噩之地。

bìng qiě nǐ jiāng liè guó zhī dì zhào fēn cì gěi tā men ， tā men jiù dé le xī hóng zhī dì 、 xī shí běn wáng zhī dì ， hé bā shān wáng è zhī dì 。

Moreover you gave them kingdoms and peoples, which you allotted according to their portions. So they possessed the land of Sihon, even the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan.

你也使他們的子孫多如天上的星，帶他們到你所應許他們列祖進入得為業之地。

nǐ yě shǐ tā men de zǐ sūn duō rú tiān shàng de xīng ， dài tā men dào nǐ suǒ yīng xǔ tā men liè zǔ jìn rù dé wèi yè zhī dì 。

You also multiplied their children as the stars of the sky, and brought them into the land concerning which you said to their fathers that they should go in to possess it.

這樣，他們進去得了那地，你在他們面前制伏那地的居民，就是迦南人；將迦南人和其君王，並那地的居民，都交在他們手裏，讓他們任意而待。

zhè yàng ， tā men jìn qù dé le nà dì ， nǐ zài tā men miàn qián zhì fú nà dì de jū mín ， jiù shì jiā nán rén ； jiāng jiā nán rén hé qí jūn wáng ， bìng nà dì de jū mín ， dōu jiāo zài tā men shǒu lǐ ， ràng tā men rèn yì ér dài 。

“So the children went in and possessed the land; and you subdued before them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and gave them into their hands, with their kings and the peoples of the land, that they might do with them as they pleased.

他們得了堅固的城邑、肥美的地土、充滿各樣美物的房屋、鑿成的水井、葡萄園、橄欖園，並許多果木樹。他們就吃而得飽，身體肥胖，因你的大恩，心中快樂。

tā men dé le jiān gù de chéng yì 、 féi měi de dì tǔ 、 chōng mǎn gè yàng měi wù de fáng wū 、 záo chéng de shuǐ jǐng 、 pú táo yuán 、 gǎn lǎn yuán ， bìng xǔ duō guǒ mù shù 。 tā men jiù chī ér dé bǎo ， shēn tǐ féi pàng ， yīn nǐ de dà ēn ， xīn zhōng kuài lè 。

They took fortified cities and a rich land, and possessed houses full of all good things, cisterns dug out, vineyards, olive groves, and fruit trees in abundance. So they ate, were filled, became fat, and delighted themselves in your great goodness.

「然而，他們不順從，竟背叛你，將你的律法丟在背後，殺害那勸他們歸向你的眾先知，大大惹動你的怒氣。

「 rán ér ， tā men bú shùn cóng ， jìng bèi pàn nǐ ， jiāng nǐ de lǜ fǎ diū zài bèi hòu ， shā hài nà quàn tā men guī xiàng nǐ de zhòng xiān zhī ， dà dà rě dòng nǐ de nù qì 。

“Nevertheless they were disobedient and rebelled against you, cast your law behind their back, killed your prophets that testified against them to turn them again to you, and they committed awful blasphemies.

所以你將他們交在敵人的手中，磨難他們。他們遭難的時候哀求你，你就從天上垂聽，照你的大憐憫賜給他們拯救者，救他們脫離敵人的手。

suǒ yǐ nǐ jiāng tā men jiāo zài dí rén de shǒu zhōng ， mó nán tā men 。 tā men zāo nán de shí hòu āi qiú nǐ ， nǐ jiù cóng tiān shàng chuí tīng ， zhào nǐ de dà lián mǐn cì gěi tā men zhěng jiù zhě ， jiù tā men tuō lí dí rén de shǒu 。

Therefore you delivered them into the hand of their adversaries, who distressed them. In the time of their trouble, when they cried to you, you heard from heaven; and according to your manifold mercies you gave them saviors who saved them out of the hands of their adversaries.

但他們得平安之後，又在你面前行惡，所以你丟棄他們在仇敵的手中，使仇敵轄制他們。然而他們轉回哀求你，你仍從天上垂聽，屢次照你的憐憫拯救他們，

dàn tā men dé píng ān zhī hòu ， yòu zài nǐ miàn qián xíng è ， suǒ yǐ nǐ diū qì tā men zài chóu dí de shǒu zhōng ， shǐ chóu dí xiá zhì tā men 。 rán ér tā men zhuǎn huí āi qiú nǐ ， nǐ réng cóng tiān shàng chuí tīng ， lǚ cì zhào nǐ de lián mǐn zhěng jiù tā men ，

But after they had rest, they did evil again before you; therefore you left them in the hands of their enemies, so that they had the dominion over them; yet when they returned and cried to you, you heard from heaven; and many times you delivered them according to your mercies,

又警戒他們，要使他們歸服你的律法。他們卻行事狂傲，不聽從你的誡命，干犯你的典章（人若遵行就必因此活着），扭轉肩頭，硬着頸項，不肯聽從。

yòu jǐng jiè tā men ， yào shǐ tā men guī fú nǐ de lǜ fǎ 。 tā men què xíng shì kuáng ào ， bù tīng cóng nǐ de jiè mìng ， gān fàn nǐ de diǎn zhāng （ rén ruò zūn xíng jiù bì yīn cǐ huó zhe ）， niǔ zhuǎn jiān tóu ， yìng zhe jǐng xiàng ， bù kěn tīng cóng 。

and testified against them, that you might bring them again to your law. Yet they were arrogant, and didn’t listen to your commandments, but sinned against your ordinances (which if a man does, he shall live in them), turned their backs, stiffened their neck, and would not hear.

但你多年寬容他們，又用你的靈藉眾先知勸戒他們，他們仍不聽從，所以你將他們交在列國之民的手中。

dàn nǐ duō nián kuān róng tā men ， yòu yòng nǐ de líng jiè zhòng xiān zhī quàn jiè tā men ， tā men réng bù tīng cóng ， suǒ yǐ nǐ jiāng tā men jiāo zài liè guó zhī mín de shǒu zhōng 。

Yet many years you put up with them, and testified against them by your Spirit through your prophets. Yet they would not listen. Therefore you gave them into the hand of the peoples of the lands.

然而你大發憐憫，不全然滅絕他們，也不丟棄他們；因為你是有恩典、有憐憫的上帝。

rán ér nǐ dà fā lián mǐn ， bù quán rán miè jué tā men ， yě bù diū qì tā men ； yīn wèi nǐ shì yǒu ēn diǎn 、 yǒu lián mǐn de shén 。

“Nevertheless in your manifold mercies you didn’t make a full end of them, nor forsake them; for you are a gracious and merciful God.

「我們的上帝啊，你是至大、至能、至可畏、守約施慈愛的上帝。我們的君王、首領、祭司、先知、列祖，和你的眾民，從亞述列王的時候直到今日所遭遇的苦難，現在求你不要以為小。

「 wǒ men de shén a ， nǐ shì zhì dà 、 zhì néng 、 zhì kě wèi 、 shǒu yuē shī cí ài de shén 。 wǒ men de jūn wáng 、 shǒu lǐng 、 jì sī 、 xiān zhī 、 liè zǔ ， hé nǐ de zhòng mín ， cóng yà shù liè wáng de shí hòu zhí dào jīn rì suǒ zāo yù de kǔ nàn ， xiàn zài qiú nǐ bú yào yǐ wéi xiǎo 。

Now therefore, our God, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness, don’t let all the travail seem little before you that has come on us, on our kings, on our princes, on our priests, on our prophets, on our fathers, and on all your people, since the time of the kings of Assyria to this day.

在一切臨到我們的事上，你卻是公義的；因你所行的是誠實，我們所做的是邪惡。

zài yí qiè lín dào wǒ men de shì shàng ， nǐ què shì gōng yì de ； yīn nǐ suǒ xíng de shì chéng shí ， wǒ men suǒ zuò de shì xié è 。

However you are just in all that has come on us; for you have dealt truly, but we have done wickedly.

我們的君王、首領、祭司、列祖都不遵守你的律法，不聽從你的誡命和你警戒他們的話。

wǒ men de jūn wáng 、 shǒu lǐng 、 jì sī 、 liè zǔ dōu bù zūn shǒu nǐ de lǜ fǎ ， bù tīng cóng nǐ de jiè mìng hé nǐ jǐng jiè tā men de huà 。

Also our kings, our princes, our priests, and our fathers have not kept your law, nor listened to your commandments and your testimonies with which you testified against them.

他們在本國裏沾你大恩的時候，在你所賜給他們這廣大肥美之地上不事奉你，也不轉離他們的惡行。

tā men zài běn guó lǐ zhān nǐ dà ēn de shí hòu ， zài nǐ suǒ cì gěi tā men zhè guǎng dà féi měi zhī dì shàng bú shì fèng nǐ ， yě bù zhuǎn lí tā men de è xíng 。

For they have not served you in their kingdom, and in your great goodness that you gave them, and in the large and rich land which you gave before them. They didn’t turn from their wicked works.

我們現今作了奴僕；至於你所賜給我們列祖享受其上的土產，並美物之地，看哪，我們在這地上作了奴僕！

wǒ men xiàn jīn zuò le nú pú ； zhì yú nǐ suǒ cì gěi wǒ men liè zǔ xiǎng shòu qí shàng de tǔ chǎn ， bìng měi wù zhī dì ， kàn nǎ ， wǒ men zài zhè dì shàng zuò le nú pú ！

“Behold, we are servants today, and as for the land that you gave to our fathers to eat its fruit and its good, behold, we are servants in it.

這地許多出產歸了列王，就是你因我們的罪所派轄制我們的。他們任意轄制我們的身體和牲畜，我們遭了大難。」

zhè dì xǔ duō chū chǎn guī le liè wáng ， jiù shì nǐ yīn wǒ men de zuì suǒ pài xiá zhì wǒ men de 。 tā men rèn yì xiá zhì wǒ men de shēn tǐ hé shēng chù ， wǒ men zāo le dà nàn 。」

It yields much increase to the kings whom you have set over us because of our sins. Also they have power over our bodies and over our livestock, at their pleasure, and we are in great distress.

因這一切的事，我們立確實的約，寫在冊上。我們的首領、利未人，和祭司都簽了名。

yīn zhè yí qiè de shì ， wǒ men lì què shí de yuē ， xiě zài cè shàng 。 wǒ men de shǒu lǐng 、 lì wèi rén ， hé jì sī dōu qiān le míng 。

Yet for all this, we make a sure covenant, and write it; and our princes, our Levites, and our priests, seal it.”
