民數記 20

正月間，以色列全會眾到了尋的曠野，就住在加低斯。米利暗死在那裏，就葬在那裏。

zhēng yuè jiān ， yǐ sè liè quán huì zhòng dào le xún de kuàng yě ， jiù zhù zài jiā dī sī 。 mǐ lì àn sǐ zài nà lǐ ， jiù zàng zài nà lǐ 。

The children of Israel, even the whole congregation, came into the wilderness of Zin in the first month. The people stayed in Kadesh. Miriam died there, and was buried there.

會眾沒有水喝，就聚集攻擊摩西、亞倫。

huì zhòng méi yǒu shuǐ hē ， jiù jù jí gōng jī mó xī 、 yà lún 。

There was no water for the congregation; and they assembled themselves together against Moses and against Aaron.

百姓向摩西爭鬧說：「我們的弟兄曾死在耶和華面前，我們恨不得與他們同死。

bǎi xìng xiàng mó xī zhēng nào shuō ：「 wǒ men de dì xiong céng sǐ zài yē hé huá miàn qián ， wǒ men hèn bù dé yǔ tā men tóng sǐ 。

The people quarreled with Moses, and spoke, saying, “We wish that we had died when our brothers died before the LORD!

你們為何把耶和華的會眾領到這曠野、使我們和牲畜都死在這裏呢？

nǐ men wèi hé bǎ yē hé huá de huì zhòng lǐng dào zhè kuàng yě 、 shǐ wǒ men hé shēng chù dōu sǐ zài zhè lǐ ne ？

Why have you brought the LORD’s assembly into this wilderness, that we should die there, we and our animals?

你們為何逼着我們出埃及、領我們到這壞地方呢？這地方不好撒種，也沒有無花果樹、葡萄樹、石榴樹，又沒有水喝。」

nǐ men wèi hé bī zhe wǒ men chū āi jí 、 lǐng wǒ men dào zhè huài dì fāng ne ？ zhè dì fāng bù hǎo sā zhǒng ， yě méi yǒu wú huā guǒ shù 、 pú táo shù 、 shí liú shù ， yòu méi yǒu shuǐ hē 。」

Why have you made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in to this evil place? It is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink.”

摩西、亞倫離開會眾，到會幕門口，俯伏在地；耶和華的榮光向他們顯現。

mó xī 、 yà lún lí kāi huì zhòng ， dào huì mù mén kǒu ， fǔ fú zài dì ； yē hé huá de róng guāng xiàng tā men xiǎn xiàn 。

Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and fell on their faces. The LORD’s glory appeared to them.

耶和華曉諭摩西說：

yē hé huá xiǎo yù mó xī shuō ：

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

「你拿着杖去，和你的哥哥亞倫招聚會眾，在他們眼前吩咐磐石發出水來，水就從磐石流出，給會眾和他們的牲畜喝。」

「 nǐ ná zhe zhàng qù ， hé nǐ de gē ge yà lún zhāo jù huì zhòng ， zài tā men yǎn qián fēn fù pán shí fā chū shuǐ lái ， shuǐ jiù cóng pán shí liú chū ， gěi huì zhòng hé tā men de shēng chù hē 。」

“Take the rod, and assemble the congregation, you, and Aaron your brother, and speak to the rock before their eyes, that it pour out its water. You shall bring water to them out of the rock; so you shall give the congregation and their livestock drink.”

於是摩西照耶和華所吩咐的，從耶和華面前取了杖去。

yú shì mó xī zhào yē hé huá suǒ fēn fù de ， cóng yē hé huá miàn qián qǔ le zhàng qù 。

Moses took the rod from before the LORD, as he commanded him.

摩西、亞倫就招聚會眾到磐石前。摩西說：「你們這些背叛的人聽我說：我為你們使水從這磐石中流出來嗎？」

mó xī 、 yà lún jiù zhāo jù huì zhòng dào pán shí qián 。 mó xī shuō ：「 nǐ men zhè xiē bèi pàn de rén tīng wǒ shuō ： wǒ wèi nǐ men shǐ shuǐ cóng zhè pán shí zhōng liú chū lái ma ？」

Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock, and he said to them, “Hear now, you rebels! Shall we bring water out of this rock for you?”

摩西舉手，用杖擊打磐石兩下，就有許多水流出來，會眾和他們的牲畜都喝了。

mó xī jǔ shǒu ， yòng zhàng jī dǎ pán shí liǎng xià ， jiù yǒu xǔ duō shuǐ liú chū lái ， huì zhòng hé tā men de shēng chù dōu hē le 。

Moses lifted up his hand, and struck the rock with his rod twice, and water came out abundantly. The congregation and their livestock drank.

耶和華對摩西、亞倫說：「因為你們不信我，不在以色列人眼前尊我為聖，所以你們必不得領這會眾進我所賜給他們的地去。」

yē hé huá duì mó xī 、 yà lún shuō ：「 yīn wèi nǐ men bú xìn wǒ ， bú zài yǐ sè liè rén yǎn qián zūn wǒ wèi shèng ， suǒ yǐ nǐ men bì bù dé lǐng zhè huì zhòng jìn wǒ suǒ cì gěi tā men de dì qù 。」

The LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you didn’t believe in me, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”

這水名叫米利巴水 ，是因以色列人向耶和華爭鬧，耶和華就在他們面前顯為聖。

zhè shuǐ míng jiào mǐ lì bā shuǐ ， shì yīn yǐ sè liè rén xiàng yē hé huá zhēng nào ， yē hé huá jiù zài tā men miàn qián xiǎn wèi shèng 。

These are the waters of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with the LORD, and he was sanctified in them.

摩西從加低斯差遣使者去見以東王，說：「你的弟兄以色列人這樣說：『我們所遭遇的一切艱難，

mó xī cóng jiā dī sī chāi qiǎn shǐ zhě qù jiàn yǐ dōng wáng ， shuō ：「 nǐ de dì xiong yǐ sè liè rén zhè yàng shuō ：『 wǒ men suǒ zāo yù de yí qiè jiān nán ，

Moses sent messengers from Kadesh to the king of Edom, saying: “Your brother Israel says: You know all the travail that has happened to us;

就是我們的列祖下到埃及，我們在埃及久住；埃及人惡待我們的列祖和我們，

jiù shì wǒ men de liè zǔ xià dào āi jí ， wǒ men zài āi jí jiǔ zhù ； āi jí rén è dài wǒ men de liè zǔ hé wǒ men ，

how our fathers went down into Egypt, and we lived in Egypt a long time. The Egyptians mistreated us and our fathers.

我們哀求耶和華的時候，他聽了我們的聲音，差遣使者把我們從埃及領出來。這事你都知道。如今，我們在你邊界上的城加低斯。

wǒ men āi qiú yē hé huá de shí hòu ， tā tīng le wǒ men de shēng yīn ， chāi qiǎn shǐ zhě bǎ wǒ men cóng āi jí lǐng chū lái 。 zhè shì nǐ dōu zhī dào 。 rú jīn ， wǒ men zài nǐ biān jiè shàng de chéng jiā dī sī 。

When we cried to the LORD, he heard our voice, sent an angel, and brought us out of Egypt. Behold, we are in Kadesh, a city in the edge of your border.

求你容我們從你的地經過。我們不走田間和葡萄園，也不喝井裏的水，只走大道 ，不偏左右，直到過了你的境界。』」

qiú nǐ róng wǒ men cóng nǐ de dì jīng guò 。 wǒ men bù zǒu tián jiān hé pú táo yuán ， yě bù hē jǐng lǐ de shuǐ ， zhī zǒu dà dào ， bù piān zuǒ yòu ， zhí dào guò le nǐ de jìng jiè 。』」

“Please let us pass through your land. We will not pass through field or through vineyard, neither will we drink from the water of the wells. We will go along the king’s highway. We will not turn away to the right hand nor to the left, until we have passed your border.”

以東王說：「你不可從我的地經過，免得我帶刀出去攻擊你。」

yǐ dōng wáng shuō ：「 nǐ bù kě cóng wǒ de dì jīng guò ， miǎn de wǒ dài dāo chū qù gōng jī nǐ 。」

Edom said to him, “You shall not pass through me, lest I come out with the sword against you.”

以色列人說：「我們要走大道上去；我們和牲畜若喝你的水，必給你價值。不求別的，只求你容我們步行過去。」

yǐ sè liè rén shuō ：「 wǒ men yào zǒu dà dào shàng qù ； wǒ men hé shēng chù ruò hē nǐ de shuǐ ， bì gěi nǐ jià zhí 。 bù qiú bié de ， zhī qiú nǐ róng wǒ men bù xíng guò qù 。」

The children of Israel said to him, “We will go up by the highway; and if we drink your water, I and my livestock, then I will give its price. Only let me, without doing anything else, pass through on my feet.”

以東王說：「你們不可經過！」就率領許多人出來，要用強硬的手攻擊以色列人。

yǐ dōng wáng shuō ：「 nǐ men bù kě jīng guò ！」 jiù shuài lǐng xǔ duō rén chū lái ， yào yòng qiáng yìng de shǒu gōng jī yǐ sè liè rén 。

He said, “You shall not pass through.” Edom came out against him with many people, and with a strong hand.

這樣，以東王不肯容以色列人從他的境界過去。於是他們轉去，離開他。

zhè yàng ， yǐ dōng wáng bù kěn róng yǐ sè liè rén cóng tā de jìng jiè guò qù 。 yú shì tā men zhuǎn qù ， lí kāi tā 。

Thus Edom refused to give Israel passage through his border, so Israel turned away from him.

以色列全會眾從加低斯起行，到了何珥山。

yǐ sè liè quán huì zhòng cóng jiā dī sī qǐ xíng ， dào le hé ěr shān 。

They traveled from Kadesh, and the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, came to Mount Hor.

耶和華在附近以東邊界的何珥山上曉諭摩西、亞倫說：

yē hé huá zài fù jìn yǐ dōng biān jiè de hé ěr shān shàng xiǎo yù mó xī 、 yà lún shuō ：

The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron in Mount Hor, by the border of the land of Edom, saying,

「亞倫要歸到他列祖 那裏。他必不得入我所賜給以色列人的地；因為在米利巴水，你們違背了我的命。

「 yà lún yào guī dào tā liè zǔ nà lǐ 。 tā bì bù dé rù wǒ suǒ cì gěi yǐ sè liè rén de dì ； yīn wèi zài mǐ lì bā shuǐ ， nǐ men wéi bèi le wǒ de mìng 。

“Aaron shall be gathered to his people; for he shall not enter into the land which I have given to the children of Israel, because you rebelled against my word at the waters of Meribah.

你帶亞倫和他的兒子以利亞撒上何珥山，

nǐ dài yà lún hé tā de ér zi yǐ lì yà sā shàng hé ěr shān ，

Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up to Mount Hor;

把亞倫的聖衣脫下來，給他的兒子以利亞撒穿上；亞倫必死在那裏，歸他列祖。」

bǎ yà lún de shèng yī tuō xià lái ， gěi tā de ér zi yǐ lì yà sā chuān shàng ； yà lún bì sǐ zài nà lǐ ， guī tā liè zǔ 。」

and strip Aaron of his garments, and put them on Eleazar his son. Aaron shall be gathered, and shall die there.”

摩西就照耶和華所吩咐的行。三人當着會眾的眼前上了何珥山。

mó xī jiù zhào yē hé huá suǒ fēn fù de xíng 。 sān rén dāng zhe huì zhòng de yǎn qián shàng le hé ěr shān 。

Moses did as the LORD commanded. They went up onto Mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation.

摩西把亞倫的聖衣脫下來，給他的兒子以利亞撒穿上，亞倫就死在山頂那裏。於是摩西和以利亞撒下了山。

mó xī bǎ yà lún de shèng yī tuō xià lái ， gěi tā de ér zi yǐ lì yà sā chuān shàng ， yà lún jiù sǐ zài shān dǐng nà lǐ 。 yú shì mó xī hé yǐ lì yà sā xià le shān 。

Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and put them on Eleazar his son. Aaron died there on the top of the mountain, and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain.

全會眾，就是以色列全家，見亞倫已經死了，便都為亞倫哀哭了三十天。

quán huì zhòng ， jiù shì yǐ sè liè quán jiā ， jiàn yà lún yǐ jīng sǐ le ， biàn dōu wèi yà lún āi kū le sān shí tiān 。

When all the congregation saw that Aaron was dead, they wept for Aaron thirty days, even all the house of Israel.
